My husband has raved about JINYA and could not wait until this location opened. I had never tried it and we planned on going one evening this week, but I fell ill with the flu. He knew I needed something that would soothe my symptoms so he went to JINYA and they recommended some soup that they thought would help. I haven't been eating much because nothing really sounded/tasted good. Their soup has been my saving grace. It had enough flavor but wasn't overpowering for me during this time. They said it was one of their milder soups. I am all about flavor and cannot wait until my tastebuds come back around to try more options. Thanks, JINYA, for the recommendation on your soup. This was my first visit to JINYA also my first time having ramen ! I tried the creamy vegan I was very nervous about it because it's rare when I have tofu that is actually delicious ! I was very extremely satisfied , tons of veggies and ramen . I was full and had a great waitress who was good about explaining the menu , unfortunately I don't remember her name ! And the scenery is perfect ,music was up beat along with the vibes through the restaurant. The only reason I couldn't give you guys a 5 star is bc I wanted ramen with only shrimp and I was told I'd have to get the pork shrimp combo ramen , and I don't eat pork :( read more

Came in for lunch at the new jinya cypress today with my husband. Walked in and the place is super cozy and cute. There wasn't a wait for a table of 2. Super surprising since they just opened on Monday. They have tables for parties of 2-6 but one big communal table in the middle. They had outside seating as well. We ordered the Takoyaki, Curry rice with beef sukiyaki, pork Kim chi tacos, jinya buns and the tonkatau spicy. The food was all so great. Takoyaki was done to perfection and laid on a bed of egg salad. What a great combo of flavor. Curry rice and tacos were something new we have never tried at other Jinyas. Great flavor and a must try. Tonkatsu spicy ramen was excellent. Noodles perfectly el dente. Hands down, our favorite was the jinya buns. Braised pork was perfectly seasoned and braised. It was So good we ordered 6 more to go. Everything came out so fast. The service was beyond what I would expect for a newly opened restaurant. The crew at jinya operated like a well seasoned machine. There is no wait because the service is impeccable. Ask for Elijah on your next visit. Jinya cypress is a great addition to the area. Cant wait to go again. read more

Everything from the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Myself and two others had the spicy chicken ramen and one had the miso with beef. The JINYA bun is good but missing a little kick. I added hot sauce and it help but it needed something like a spicy cucumber slaw type thing. My only real complaint would be that the music is loud and because it's small it makes it hard to hear others. Can't wait to go back. read more

Love it here! Customer service is top notch, the venue has a contemporary and gorgeous layout, food is amazing and reasonably priced! Couldn't ask for more! Serving sizes are huge so easy to split a bowl with a friend and still walk out with your pants unbuttoned! So happy about the addition of this restaurant to the Cypress area! I took my 10 and 7 year old daughters here for dinner and it was a great experience. The 7year Old is super picky and couldn't stop eating her noodles so, it was a definite win for the evening. I had the tangy shrimp noodles and it was delicious. The crispy chicken was also very tasty. I would definitely like to revisit this place and try some of the other flavors. The food is good, but the service is subpar. Every time I go it's a different issue. The first time, I was satisfied so went soon after. All the other times the servers seem to be in a different world. They either are slow to respond or never check up at all. The last time I went there was an issue with the credit card machine and they asked me to wait 20 min. After waiting, they said they couldn't fix it and I needed to come back to pay the tab later (when I went back they wanted to charge me for an extra plate so clearly the record keeping was also off.) read more

Jinya is my favorite, and now that they have a location near home i love it even more! I love ramen, and honestly Jinya is at the top of my list for quality of the food & service. The food is really good especially for the price, and the customization options you have for your ramen are great too. The other food options are super tasty too; I tried the Spicy Creamy Shrimp Tempura and it was so good, I highly recommend getting it if you want to try something other than ramen there. I went with my friend to eat dinner, and our server was Kairy. He was super efficient, friendly, and very helpful. He was always making sure we had everything we needed and that our meal was top-notch quality. If you're looking for a good ramen place to go, Jinya is it. read more
