Steak and Scallops with fried rice

This was recommended to us as a great restaurant in the area of Copperfield. As you can see, the place is very nice and well decorated. This is a Japanese steak house and does not have open hibachi tables for you to sit at. The service was great and all the food came out perfect. Go by and give it a try!!!

I took my family here on a weekday for my daughter's birthday. The decor was nice and the food was good. Service was prompt and friendly. I mentioned it was my daughter's birthday, and they brought fried ice cream to the table for her and her siblings to share.

Amazing vibe once inside. This Japanese Restaurant would be packed in a prime location. Really enjoyed the food. The quality was really good and the temperature came out steaming. Felt amazing to see the Hibachi Chef in his element grilling instead of hidden behind a wall. The servers bring the food to your table as soon as its ready. Highly recommend if your in the area or willing to make the drive!

This is an excellent neighborhood Japanese restaurant with an extensive menu, including sake and both domestic and Japanese beers. My entree of beef filet and scallops was perfectly cooked and started with a choice of soups and a small salad for just $19.95. I managed to set aside half for tomorrow's meal.

I really think this is a much needed gem for the 529-Copperfield-outside Katy area. We live nearby and received their menu in the mail. I was really intrigued because the pricing seemed awesome, selection sounded good, there was a small kids hibachi menu which means: it's close by, it's something different and is welcoming for kids to come. It's decorated so cute inside. Numerous parasol umbrellas hang from the ceiling, the booths have a fun tile surround, the music was fun, tvs were on. I think someone in ownership came by with a pair of training chopsticks for my son which was so sweet and my son thought was so special. The hibachi was delicious! Onion/mushroom soup, yummy salad with a citrus ginger dressing, and the fried rice with your protein selection. It does not come with a show which is good with us because we're here for the food! Everything came out timely, was fresh and flavorful.

This place had been on my list since I saw the "opening soon" sign, and it did not disappoint! Came here this past Saturday, and loved it! My fiancé and I started with some waters with lemon and I ordered a mango green tea which was very tasty. I added the regular tapioca to it. For an appetizer I opted for the teriyaki wings (I say "I" because she didn't eat any) which were big and the taste was solid. For the main course I ordered the imperial dinner (chicken, steak and shrimp) which comes with a side salad, soup, and fried rice. I opted for the onion soup. Everything was delicious!! The portion on the main plate was huge too. I took the rest to go which I never do, especially with a post-workout meal. My fiancée ordered the filet and shrimp combo which she loved and also took the remainders to go. She commented on how the steak was cooked very well. We ended up with some free chocolate ice cream as they advertise on the table that you can get this for free if you leave a google review. We were going to leave a review anyway so I the ice cream was a plus. She had mentioned when we walked in that there was an off smell, but that was quickly forgotten once we started eating. Our server Andy was really laid back and attentive, so shout out to him! Side note: if you want yum yum sauce you can ask for it but it doesn't come with the food. This spot is a GREAT value for what you get with some tasty food. I'll see if I can convince myself to try the sushi next, but I loved what I ordered. I'll definitely be back!

Went on a Saturday. The place was nice and clean. Our server was very friendly. We ordered sushi, Chicken and steak combo hibachi, and kids chicken hibachi. Also edamame for appetizer. The hibachi was very good. My wife didn't like the sushi. I'm not a sushi person so I didn't try it. Everything else was good though. You get lots of food for the hibachi and the prude prices were good. The kids hibachi was buy one get one free.

Clean and new place to eat. Really enjoyed the food. The steak was juicy and tender and had great flavor. Sushi was great too! Will be back!

The food is awesome!! My wife and I went the first time for their specials during lunch. Since then, we've been going frequently because the food and service are great. Prices are very reasonable and Andy our server is super kind with his customers. He makes sure you have everything you need. I really love this place.

It also felt like a third space of sorts, because I was hanging out with a well connected friend, and everyone who came in was a who's who of the Houston restaurant/nightlife scene, and gathered for what turned out to be an unplanned hang out. They were hosting a vinyl swap night, so folks were coming in to peruse the many boxes of vinyls, and a DJ spun classic r&b tunes. I hear that on some nights they make space for a dance floor so people can show off their best two step in the space. The drinks were great and well priced but the wine selection is what got me. I was told they were inspired by Japan's many vinyl listening bars-- having been to many across Japan as well as many NYC imitators, this place actually impressively comes close. A true gem in Montrose.

Regarding the food, the Frisée Salad was pretty good, well dressed and flavorful. The chicken sandwich was okay. The batter was crispy and flaky but it had no flavor. What made it a lot better was the coleslaw that brought a great deal of tang and moisture. The steak was not quite for me. It came on a bed of sauce that was flavorful with fresh veggies but it did not go well with the steak. Perhaps chicken would've suited better. The steak itself was dry and quite chewy. For dessert we had the carrot cake tres leches which was decent. The carrot cake flavor was there but the moisture from the cake was not fully spread in the cake. Overall nothing here was bad but with the plethora of restaurants in the Houston area I can't justify recommending or returning.

It's a nice lowkey neighborhood spot with a bar and outdoor seating as well. The ambiance was chill and casual which I am all for. The food didn't take long to come out and was so darn good. It was probably one of the best steak nights I've had in a while. We had the ribeyes, mash potato, mac and cheese, green beans, and French fries. The steak was seasoned perfectly and grilled to the perfect temperature to my liking. We are still talking about it, I can't wait to come back and try their chimichurri sauce. We ended with the strawberry and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheese cake. They weren't too sweet and just the right amount of richness. If they aren't on your list for steak night I definitely recommend!

There was absolutely no way we were finishing it. We brought a ton home, so while it's definitely pricey, you are getting a LOT of food. The steak itself was top notch and cooked perfectly. We started with the bacon appetizer, which was delicious and, again, so much food. We also had the Brussels sprouts and potatoes as sides, and both were really good. I cannot for the life of me remember the names of our drinks, but I remember one was similar to a Moscow Mule and the other was a martini-type drink with a little sliver of dragon fruit in it. I really wish I remembered the name because that one was SO good. Service was great from start to finish. The inside has more intimate, dim lighting, which was perfect for a birthday dinner or date night, but it wasn't overly stuffy. People were dressed anywhere from nice to fairly casual. It is definitely an expensive dinner, but we knew that going in when we made the reservation, so there was no sticker shock. Between the huge steak, great sides, drinks, and service, we really enjoyed our night. We'll definitely be back!

They didn't rush me to order and I was able to enjoy the martinis. Full service at the bar, btw! Houston Restaurant Weeks is going on so I went with that option. Started with the BLT salad -- beefsteak tomato, thick-cut bacon, and mozzarella di bufala over spinach, drizzled with balsamic reduction. Basically every server upstairs told me it was their favorite salad. The bacon was thhiicccckkkk! For my second course, I got the 22 oz. bone-in ribeye for a $30 charge (normally $85 on the dinner menu), topped with truffle butter for an additional $9. I also ordered a side of potato au gratin, which isn't on the HRW menu, but I love potatoes and wanted something to eat with the steak. The ribeye was cooked to perfection with a really nice char. Third course was dessert. I went with the New York cheesecake with compressed graham cracker. The cheesecake itself was good, though I thought the graham cracker could have been a little crunchier. Overall, a great evening! I was impressed.
