I was greeted very warmly by the counter person - she was super helpful and kind I made a choice -and the food was brought out very quickly-piping hot and looking soooo good As I tucked into my meal , I mentioned to her what a nice and well run business this seemed. She replied ," that'd because we have a very hands on owner who cares - that was him carrying those 10 lunches out when you came in " Looked like a huge order-and I was impressed he was; 1- working on a Sunday And 2- carrying a ton of food with a smile on his face !!! I really wanted some fried rice, so we decided to try this restaurant and didn't expect it to be what it was. The ambiance of the restaurant was fitting and the manager was awesome. He caught us at the door and invited us in, the food lives up to its expectation. The teriyaki chicken bowl was amazing and my wife had the salmon teriyaki which she said was really good. We didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for our food, definitely would suggest giving this great place a try. read more

I have been to this place a handful of times and the food just keeps getting better. As I stated before I thought the broccoli was raw from pictures but it was perfectly cooked it's my favorite lol. I get the teriyaki chicken white rice with broccoli. Don't forget to use the app for points and rewards. I'm pretty sure I met the owner he was outside right when I pulled up with a smile on my face. Very good employees and customer service. Love this place I will gladly be back. I have never been here before and was excited to try it out. I let the cashier know that it was my first time. I ordered the spicy tofu with rice. I like spice, but this was INSANELY spicy! First bite, nose running eyes watering. I added more regular sauce that was on the table in hopes of toning Down the spice but it did not help. I tried a second bite, and felt my tongue on fire. I walked up to the counter with my full bowl, and said "I am so sorry, this is too spicy for me! Is there any way I can order this without the spice?" Cashier literally LAUGHED and shook his head no. And said "No, we don't do that." I said, what? I barely had 2 bites. I can't stomach this. There's no way to remake it? He laughed AGAIN and said "nah." So I said okay, then I need a refund because I literally can't eat this. He said "we don't do that here." So I asked to speak to a manager, and I can hear the convo. The manager says "why can't we just remake it?" BECAUSE YOUR 19 year old cashier thought to decide for himself, on top of being rude to the customer! They remade it. I was in shock at the customer service. THATS how you treat customers? I told you it was my first time. I had NO idea how HOT the sauce was. I was polite, and apologized for not knowing. Again it was my first time. I've been a bartender, server, and bar manager since 2007, and I've never experienced or witnessed such poor customer service. Will not return. read more

I just received my order about an hour ago, which included the LARGE Teriyaki Chicken and Vegetables, along with an order of Crab Rangoon. Pros: The vegetables were plentiful, well-seasoned, and tender. Cons: The dish was almost entirely vegetables, with a very small portion of chicken considering the large size I ordered. The chicken was extremely dry, which makes me think it came from the bottom of the batch (giving them the benefit of the doubt). The Crab Rangoon was far from fresh; it was dry, burnt, and overall disappointing. Essentially, I paid to eat mixed vegetables. While the concept of this restaurant shows promise, there is a definite need for better quality control and attention to how the food is presented. I love coming here when i'm not sure what to eat for lunch. It's always so fulfilling and has everything you need in a meal. A carb, protein, vegetable, you can even add a fat which is optional. My husband and I tried this place for the 1st time this evening. The server behind the register was sweet & helpful when I told him it was out first time. I went with the combo meal with regular-sized bowl of Spicy Chicken with veggies, fried rice, an egg roll, and drink. My husband ordered the Spicy Orange Chicken combo meal with steamed rice. Unfortunately, the soda fountain machine wasn't working very well so I was disappointed with my drink. A few of the tables were really sticky and/or dirty too. As we were looking for a clean table, I noticed no one had their food. Several groups of people throughout the store were still waiting for their orders--which made me nervous. Finally, little by little customers began to get their food and then we got ours. Whoa! I was VERY surprised with the deliciousness of my meal! It was cooked perfectly! The chicken was spicy but not too spicy. The vegetables were crispy and fresh. The egg roll was great. But the fried rice had to be my favorite! Holy moly--it was terrific. Oh! And the portions were amazing! I'd like to believe the reason it took so long was because everything is freshly cooked to order. I don't know that for sure, but it sure tasted like it. All in all, if the soda machine was working properly, the tables weren't sticky, and the wait wasn't long--I would have rated 5 stars based on the food alone. read more

First thing you notice is the friendliness of the staff. They are willing to do everything to make your visit delicious. The dining is small, but very well laid out. That's when I knew we were off to a bad start. Crab rangoons were shaped like a taco and had little filling. Very underwhelming. 2/5 Side of noodles were decent. Nothing great but nothing bad about them. 3/5 Chicken/beef teriyaki combo: rice was decent, veggies decent, chicken and beef were both good. I didn't like how the steak wasn't even fully cut. It was just one big piece of steak cut into slices but all hanging together. For $14 the proteins were pretty stingy as well. 3.5/5 I don't see how this place has a 4.5. Probably because of the demographics of the area. 3/5 At best from me and I think I'm being generous. I much rather make the longer drive and get Hawaiian BBQ from Aloha Express. read more

We decided to try Teriyaki Madness for something different on a Sunday. We were greeted upon arrival and waited for just a few minutes before we placed our order. I reviewed the menu online before we went since I like to know my options and was a bit disappointed that the menu in store was a bit different than online. It might be seasonal or regional differences, but I would have liked to try the salmon bowl. I ordered the chicken teriyaki as my second pick with brown rice while my husband ordered the spicy chicken with white rice. Our order didn't take long. It was dropped off at our table with fork chopsticks, which we had never seen before! We ate dinner there, and it was overall tasty. The white rice did seem a little overcooked while the spicy chicken didn't have a lot of heat, but the bowls are large portions, and we would return to try something different from their menu. The staff was also really great and friendly. We had a confusion with a coupon being applied correctly, but they were gracious, and it was fixed without incident. read more

Two steps forward one step back. Owner has revamped customer service and the friendliness of the staff has dramatically improved. Visit before last was perfect when I took a co-worker with me. Food was great and friendliness of counter staff was fantastic! However, last visit the staff friendliness continued to be stellar, but the chicken came out very chewy on all, but just a couple pieces. Tends to be hit and miss with some of the cooks. Owner was quick to replace the chicken, but new chicken had many veins running through it. I know it's a tough call when working with different cooks and chicken breasts, but having a consistent experience on each visit is why I go to other restaurants that are well known chains in the south. read more
