We stopped here for dinner and I was excited to try it out. When we arrived the hostess was really friendly. I. He led in on the app and scored a free edamame. We're off to a great start and I started with spicy creamy shrimp tempura that was DELICIOUS. I ended with pork potstickers. I just didn't have room for any ramen, but I'll get it next time. The restaurant was nice with seating on the first and second floor. It was nice and casual. A bigger party may want to get seated upstairs to have more room. Super cute and cozy! We came during lunch and sat up at the ramen bar area but they have a few tables in there as well. Our server, Amber was super helpful and really nice. It was a little on the pricier side for ramen BUT as ramen connoisseurs, this was hands down some of the best ramen we've ever had so I'd say it's worth the price. I tried a bit of the kids meal and everything was really good! Toddler approved but my picky 6 year old would have rather had something slathered in ranch dressing. I stumbled on Jinya because our favorite Hamilton County ramen was closed. Yelp helped us discover another gem! Aesthetically- Jinya doesn't disappoint. It provides a well-thought-out and intimate space that allows both separation and connection with other diners.. it felt "electric". A very cool mezzanine with a second bar up top of either level allows for family, couple, or individual seating. The selection of shareables allows you the option of getting full of small plates or just wakening up your appetite. As is customary with my son and me when we try new places, we ordered pretty much one of everything on the small plates list, and everything was exciting and delicious. The Ramen options weren't as extensive as some of the other ramen bars we have visited in the past, but if you have what you like, who needs options- right? I just want to update my review (I know my first wasn't that long ago) to shout out our server because she was AMAZING. I think her name was Amber. Not only did she remember me from a previous visit, but she also remembered the specific toppings I wanted on my ramen! And she didn't even have to write our (3 of us total) order down, but got it perfectly right! She was prompt despite being the only server working at the time, she was personable and provided excellent service. Per usual, the food was tasty and super filling, yet low calorie considering how big the portion was! I lived in Japan long enough to know what I should expect when I order japanese food. At Jinya, the food is flavorful and tasty, but I wouldn't exactly recommend it for a date night. The music was a bit loud, and maybe because we were seated upstairs made it difficult to get a hold of our waiter. The Ramen was very good. Our group tried 3 different ones and they were all tasty. Lots of noodles. Nice slices of meat, even if the chicken was bland. Well, it was chicken after all. My problem with the place is the way they bolted down all the tables within inches of each other. It's a small place so they tried to maximize tableage. Good for them, not so much for us. It inhibited conversation because peeps to the left and right could hear every word. We all felt like we were evesdropping. (And we kind of were!) Lastly, this is expensive ramen. Probably 5 bucks more than most. It's good, but IT'S RAMEN! With drinks, our group of 4 spent almost $150. We'll probably not be back for a while. read more

Not only the food was delicious, but the service was incredible. I went twice already and both servers I had were exceptionally kind and helpful. I recommended this place to my friends and family which they went back multiple times already which speaks volumes. The main thing about ramen is I love my broth piping hot and some places make it just over room temperature but Jinya did not have that issue. The unami in the ramen was flavored just right and not too salty which a lot of ramen places make that mistake by adding too much sodium. It is a small but beautifully decorated. From when I walked in to the time that I'd left it was a great experience. The young lady who sat (I don't remember her name) me was full of positive energy and carried that to everyone person that she'd sat. My waiter was attentive and gave me what I needed before I asked. For being a self-proclaimed foodie it's very rare that I am completely wowed by a restaurant but consider me impressed. To start with they give you breathtaking views of both the dining room and open kitchen, displaying a great space for an excellent dining experience. They used rich deep colors of brown, white, red, and black which paired wonderfully with the exposed brick. And the art décor of the wall was painted beautifully with a ramen slinging Geisha, like how cool is that. With it being a newly opened ramen shop it was very clean and organized with the staff taking great lengths to clean as they went. Atmosphere of the establishment was very intentionally dark and moody which allowed families, couples, and singles the ability to relax and enjoy their meals and talks. Service was also exceptional from the moment we stepped into the establishment until the end of service.   Our staff member was Lillian, she was great, pleasant, and very knowledgeable of the menu items. She even helped my brother pick out the perfect ramen and gave him suggestions on what to add or take away from the dish. She brought food and drinks in a timely manner and made sure everything tasted great and refilled drinks automatically. Our meal was delicious, tasty, full of flavor, and the perfect portion size for the presentation that the chefs prepared. My brother who is a ramen addict said that this was the only ramen shop he has been to that he didn't have to add more flavor or seasonings to the dish for him to enjoy it completely. My dish was also flavorful and amazing tasting that was the original Jinya chicken ramen with the addition of shrimp wonton added to it. I had the opportunity to try JINYA for the first time at their preview today and it did not disappoint. Overall, the ambience of this location is spot on. The inside is a mix of moody and modern design with ambient lighting. I truly appreciate the dual level, with the 21+ section upstairs as it makes the area feel more spacious. Aside from the physical attributes, we were met with quick, friendly service. Our waiter was very knowledgable on the menu and gave great recommendations as a first-time visitor. We started with the pork gyoza which had a perfect pan sear that provided a crispiness alongside the juicy inside. The gyoza sauce was a nice pairing that offered a sweet heat. One step inside this place, and you don't feel like you're in Fishers at all. Brick walls, high ceilings and warm lighting really makes this place pop. Also, they offer ADULTS ONLY seating upstairs! Count me in! Our server was very attentive, and our meals were brought out quickly and steaming hot. Since it was almost 10 pm, I opted for the small Impossible rice bowl. It was a beautiful display of baked crispy chickpeas, pickled cabbage, plant-based protein, kale, and garlic & pinenuts over rice. Just beautiful and so, so delicious. I ordered their most famous ramen to try: the black garlic tonkatsu ramen and it was delish! The texture of the noodle is perfect. The amount is enough to make 1 person full! The egg is cooked perfectly! Everything thats supposed to be in ramen is complete in the bowl. For appetizer, we ordered chicken karaage and curry rice croquette. They are fine, just the curry rice croquette was a little bland to me however it's got mozza cheese inside. The chicken karaage didnt come with the spicy mayo but you can ask for one. The service was great as it was pretty fast. The ambiance is great. You can sit dowstairs for more a family and kids friendly space and the upstairs is nice for 21+ read more

Recently went to JINYA for a ramen night. I am not well versed in ramen but the menu was rather large and had lots of different options if you don't want ramen. I got the Tonkotsu Black ramen bowl just to keep it simple and it was so delicious! I added some extra hot sauce that was on the table to add an extra kick. My husband got the Cha Cha Cha special opening menu item and he also loved his bowl. We split a JINYA bun (like a bao bun) and it was delicious! The first floor is pretty small seating wise, but there is a second floor for seating (just keep in mind for accessibility concerns) but you can make a reservation if you want! I tried the Pork Tonkotsu Black and it was to die for. Fishers really needed a good ramen place and this fits a missing niche at The Yard and Fishers in general. The flavor of the pork broth was so rich, the egg was perfectly soft boiled, and I loved that I could pick between thin or thick noodles. I ordered takeout and it was ready really quick! We had to leave. There's a Raman place at HTC by crew that is amazing and has seating for all. This is a tiny place that pretty much refused me service.
