Not the best Ramen you can get. The broth was not hot enough and the portion was on the small side for the price. Sure you can add more noodles for $2 bucks but why should you need to right at the get go?! There are far better Ramen choices in the area. Service was also very slow and not friendly. read more

Awesome ramen place that I frequently go to. Been going to this place for a few years not and it has yet to disappoint. The broth is amazing and I find it pretty good quality ramen in the Spring area. I highly recommend eating this only at the restaurant, not takeout. It's just not the same when u have it delivered (via Uber eats, etc) or getting it To-Go since they pack the ingredients separately and I personally don't feel like it's as fresh compared to eating it at the restaurant. read more

Went there based on are recommendation of a friend. Came to find out all the sauces are packaged and heated as needed. Don't really know why they have a kitchen then as all they need is a microwave. Food was below par, wife a pork ramen and the pork was just fatty, inedible. When we complained, we were told that is the way it is supposed to be. Service was ok, but with each question or comment we received excuses. Top it all off, bill was way to high for what we got. Will not be going back. read more

I very much enjoyed my BBQ ramen, it was huge and filling. I love the appetizer of calamari and squid balls, or whatever it's called. I'd be back if i crave ramen. The place is neat and intimate, good date idea, good food too. The area is pretty nice also, you can finish ramen and come out to get some ice cream for dessert in the same area. This was my first time trying Jinya and I loved it so much I ordered take out from it just a few days later! We were a pretty large party when we came in and the serve was nothing but amazing. The place is pretty small so it's not easy getting a private table for a large party. Most of the seating is either communal or bar type seating. As for the food, the Jinya Bun's are super delicious! I highly recommend them if you want an appetizer. I ordered the wonton chicken ramen and added a seasoned egg. Everything was super flavorful and delicious. I couldn't have asked for more. The pricing is a bit on the high side but honestly, it was worth it. I'll definitely be back! read more

Delicious. Now let me finish OMG!!!!! The broth is insane. I got the Tomkatsu Black ramen. It was the best ramen I have had on the north side. Not as casual as I prefer in my Vietnamese Pho' spots, or the Hawaiian Waikiki Grill, this soup set the bar for Japanese Ramen for me. Everything was perfect. I just wish I didn't come with a limited budget because I wanted to try more things. The broth.... the broth. Did I mention the broth, the flavor that can only come from spending hours low and slow. The flavor was so well developed, I would have paid for just the broth. But then there was that unbelievable whole seasoned boiled egg, perfectly soft boiled, pork belly with the skin on, melt in your mouth tender, dried onions, green onions, perfect noodles, and mushrooms. My camera didn't work but trust me, it was as visually appealing as it was flavorful. A bit pricey for lunch $20 for Ramen, Sprite and a $3.80 tip. But I will be back for that bowl and other menu items. I'm a fan. read more

Went here for a work lunch around 11:30 on a Tuesday and had no wait which is nice but it's y'all very busy. The wait staff is nice and pretty proactive in refilling waters and checking in on you. For starters we got the tempura Brusselsprouts and they were fantastic. I've never had them before and it was a great combination of crunch and flavor. Both my friend and I ordered the black tonkatsu ($12.95) and it was a pretty good portion for the price. The egg was perfect and the noodles were a little over cooked. The Chasu was also fatty compared to what I was previously used to in Ramen but it tasted delicious. I'm a fan of fat haha. Overall had a good experience and I'll be back. read more

I loved this place but their prices have gotten insane. I recently went and ordered what I always do the shrimp and chicken wonton. They have always had a rule about no substitutions even if it's the equivalent of the price of the ingredient you are taking out. They won't deduct any money from your selection but they will however nickel and dime for for every single thing in the soup. I asked them to substitute the chicken broth instead of the pork/shrimp broth and they said it would ALSO be an extra charge. So you're going to charge me for the cheaper broth? Total scam artists. This is a ramen place not maestros. If the price is going to keep going up they should match their service to their prices. Not worth it at all anymore. Greedy owners!!! read more

I really don't want to be greeted by the staff in fake Japanese in unison. It's annoying. Ordered a bowl of dumpling ramen. Very little soup in the bowl of noodles. All the sides cost extra, even the broth to balance out the lack of soup. At the end of the meal, I noticed there was a thick layer of fat that floated to the top of the broth. It's really gross how much fat is in the broth. When it was said and done, the meal cost close to $20 for a bowl of ramen noodle. Postscript. I got a very upset stomach the next day having to stay close to the restroom. I am never going back to this place again. read more

I love everything about this place. From the decor, to the service, to the food. Appetizers were amazing. Everything came out quickly and cooked thoroughly. We ordered Gyoza, the Creamy Shrimp, and Takoyaki for appetizers and all of them were great. When my ramen came out I dug right in. I asked for it Inferno and loved the flavor it brought to my already great tasting ramen. I even ordered an extra serving of noodles because the broth was the best. We absolutely love this restaurant!!!! The whole staff is so friendly and we always receive excellent service and food! The last time we went, it was such a crazy coincidence because we had just left a restaurant that sat us at a table and then no one came over to serve us. After 15 minutes we walked out and decided to come to JINYA because we were starving and we remembered how excellent and fast their service was. My wife and I absolutely love this place! The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable, there are some things that I would change, but for the most part the food is great and as I said the staff is pretty friendly. If you're looking for good soup for a reasonable price, look no further than this Ramen bar.
