Such lovely people and great food. I love the Gochujang sauce! It has the perfect flavor and level of heat.

I ventured inside on this lovely Sunday, noting a delightfully serene dining room with only a few select patrons present. I was instantly received by a charming young woman at the counter who extended a remarkably friendly greeting. While my initial impression of the layout was conservative, the hospitality quickly evolved into something genuinely impressive. They also feature a beautifully appointed small bar that crafts cocktails, which adds a sophisticated touch. I escorted myself to an excellent table and requested a bowl of Egg Drop Soup to enjoy while engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the attentive staff. The preparation was entirely satisfactory. While the interior architecture and decor are not quite as grand in scale as I had initially envisioned, the aesthetic is tastefully curated and not bad at all. For my main course, I selected the Mongolian Beef from the menu a splendid choice, and beautifully priced at $14.85. The gentleman assisting us throughout the afternoon was an absolute credit to the establishment, executing his duties with flawless precision. When the entrée arrived, the flavor profile and presentation left me completely satisfied. Between the exemplary service and the delicious culinary execution, it was an absolute treat. I shall most certainly be returning to this delightful sanctuary

To be clear, I am a New Yorker and know good fast Chinese food. The ambiance was promising. It looked like I was finally going to find what I've been looking for in Phoenix for years. For whatever reason, Chinese restaurants in Arizona serve egg hockey pucks and cover it with various items and call it egg foo young. I even asked about it before I ordered it. Alas when I got home and saw what I had, I was disappointed. It's faster to make it this way but the egg hockey puck had no taste - zero. They could have at least added oyster sauce, a little soy sauce, maybe nam plah, and perhaps sesame oil. It was tasteless. A complete miss. I also ordered something simple, shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious! I inhaled them and will order them again. I'd go again just for the spring rolls. Maybe they have other dishes that are good and I may not entirely give up but the egg foo young is a no go.

Since I was somewhat homesick, I wanted good boba and popcorn chicken. Thank goodness for Yelp and friend recommendations, since I came across Owl Owl. To my surprise, they also have other delicious food such as beef noodle soup, porkchop rice bowls, and stewed meats. Now I feel like I have a home away from home. In addition, the shop is clean, and the staff are super friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this place! The reviews speak for themselves. I hear that the store owners are a young husband-wife duo from Taiwan. I love to support local small-businesses

I tried the beef noodle soup which has soft tender beef, bouncy noodles, little mustard greens, bok choy and broth with a tiny kick. For appetizers has the popcorn chicken with real pieces of chicken and not just batter. I love the crispy basil pieces in it. Fish cakes was good too which is like a salty tasting mochi-like appetizer. Lu Wei was also good with marinated seaweed, boiled egg and braised tofu. Yummy! And of course I paired it with a Jasmine green milk tea with boba and also got a chocolate boba. They started to get busy to a cozy spot. Service was good. They should put some tables outside to accommodate more in dining seating. Overall delicious and would come back!

Their happy hour is a good price, cocktail is well made and their service is always friendly at their numerous outlets. There is also a small disadvantage of chain energy; although it is polished, it may not be as intimate as a smaller and chef-driven place. The size is good in terms of quality, though, you will not be amazed by innovation. A secure, gratifying option to the groups, families or those who want to eat sushi solely predictably.

We went before a concert. It was a 45 minute wait which is totally understandable. However,…read morebased on the service from checking in with the host to the server to the food, it's clear the wait is so long because they are very dysfunctional. The food came out luke warm and they never brought out my California Rolls until I asked and it was blamed on the chef. My drink was never refilled until I was finished eating. I rarely ever saw the server to even ask. At the end, the manager came around and said she heard I wanted to talk to her and I never asked for a manager. It seems they can't even send a manager to the right table and I'm sure whoever did ask for a manager is even more frustrated. Also, major warning: if you are prone to vertigo, DO NOT go in the women's restroom. Nothing in the room is straight. I wish someone would have warned me because I came out dizzy and nauseous. Not sure I'll return to this location, but might give the Tempe location a try.
