Fun roadhouse in the middle of town.

Jakes is everything you could want in a roadhouse. Cold beer, good food, and sports on the TV. I'll definitely be back.

Having Mama's cabbage rolls and chicken dumpling soup. Awesome, like home and the staff is always friendly they also have good bands come in. This is a excellent choice to be with friends or family for a night out.

I have been coming to Cramdon's for years, and even before it moved to this location and was down the road. I used to come here after work with friends from work and this was one of our many places to hang out. The food as definitely changed over the years, which is fair, you need to grow as a restaurant and try new things. Last night I came with my boyfriend and his friend, we just moved into our new house and I moved back here to Windsor from London and they asked for a suggestion on where to go for dinner and beer and this place immediately came to mind. We arrived and walked in, one of the servers told us anywhere we could find a seat we could sit and we chose a booth, and our server came shortly after that to take our drink orders. My boyfriend and his friend each got a Guiness and I got a Somersby Cider, and we each got water. Browsing the menu we decided on pickle spears, bacon covered pickle spears, potato skins and duck wings, those we ordered first and then browsed for what we wanted for our actual meals. I decided on the chicken caesar wrap with a greek salad, and the guys got shrimp tacos with baked beans and turkey pot pie and a caesar salad each. It all came out in good time. The food was absolutely delicious. The pickle spears were amazing with the bacon. My caesar wrap was tasty, the chicken was moist and the greek side salad was good. My boyfriend and his friend enjoyed their meals and the caesar salads. I had an amazing nostalgic time with them last night and I even saw some long time friends as well. You can't go to Cramdon's and not know someone. I can't wait to come back with friends and feel nostalgic again.

We got an order of dry wings. I have to say, I was blown away by how juicy and flavorful these wings were! By far the best wings I've had in a very long time. The ranch could be a bit better (on the bland side). The poutine was also delicious. The fries were crispy that went so well with cheese curds and gravy. Highly recommend checking this place out for the wings poutine and of course, beers.

Nahhhh. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger because our waitress told me it had won an award. Well...the judges must have had a different cook that day. The burger looked amazing, but the moment I took that first bite, I was instantly disappointed. It was dry, wayyyyy overcooked, and just lacked any flavor that would make me want another bite. Now, I will give credit where it's due. The service was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was also great, and I'd definitely come back for a beer and to hang out. As for the food? I'll pass next time. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but if you're going for the award-winning burger...your experience may vary.

From the moment you walk in, you can feel the Detroit pride in the air. The vibe is authentic -- not manufactured, not trendy-for-the-sake-of-trendy -- just pure hometown spirit. It's the kind of place where the walls tell stories and every regular feels like family. Tommy's has been a staple in the city for decades, serving up good food and strong drinks while Detroit has evolved around it. Through the highs and the rebuild years, spots like this have kept the city's heartbeat going. That kind of legacy matters. This isn't just a bar & grill -- it's part of Detroit's fabric. The food? On point. Fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The drinks were strong (the way Detroit likes them), and the service was top-tier -- friendly, welcoming, and genuinely proud of where they work. You can tell the staff loves this place. What I love most is how it represents the city: resilient, loud, proud, and unapologetically authentic. It's a perfect pre-game spot, post-game celebration spot, or just a "let's grab a drink and vibe" kind of place. Tommy's isn't just somewhere you go -- it's somewhere you experience. If you love Detroit, you'll love this place. 5 stars all day.

This is generally a beer and a shot type of a place, but he felt like making margs, and we felt like drinking them. Simple, lime, not stingy with the tequila. We also had the jalapeno poppers which were pretty dang yummy and made with fresh jalapenos. Nice. The wings are seasoned nicely and have a good sauce; not too spicy, and large. If you're looking for interesting conversation, you will get it here. It's divey, but the bathrooms are very clean and the place seems well managed. Lots of history, and they have a back room where a larger group could easily gather. Sometimes you need to go to the bar to order food and drinks, even if there is waitstaff - sometimes it gets really jammed when games are happening or conventions let out from Cobo. Be patient, be nice, have a good time.
