The bar is small (we wished it were bigger) but the spacious dining room and patio are just fine. The stuffed brie pretzels set my weight loss goal back weeks! Then the buffalo cauliflower... They seemed to have as much outdoor as indoor seating, sufficient parking in a mini-mall, location in a somewhat upscale neighborhood, a small bar area as you walk in with a TV, and clean bathrooms. Service was friendly and accomodating, and the bartender even stopped by, while my wife was in the ladies room, to fold her cloth napkin and place it back on the wooden table. There were limited, but sufficient dinner choices. My wife had mussells in an onion and white wine broth and she substituted a side salad (mostly lettuce) for the fried potatoes on the menu. With that, she had a glass of "sangria," which appeared to be a rosé wine without clumps of fruit. I had the seared cod served (a la mode) above a pile of 3 french fries, 3 green beans, and a child's handful of spinach. With that I had a glass of German reisling white wine. For dessert, we just had decaf cappuccinos. Both the food and drink were very good. The portions weren't very generous, but just enough.

I got a coffee from the machine and it just dispensed water and didn't even fill the cup. I asked the guy and he said it was normal so i bought it. When i tried it, it was watery and has just full of powder. When i went back in to ask the guy he got mad and said it was fine for everyone else. I said ok and went to leave and the guy continued to mouth off about it was my fault. Pretty disappointing this used to be one of the better 7-11s

At any rate I just accept that... and the store is not clean ever. What I do find unacceptable is the person that works here in the evening is a total rude asshole. Yelling obnoxious and argumentative. Won't even listen to you speak. I walked out of there thinking OMG what just happened! I had my service dog with me and he freaked out screaming at me that the dog was not allowed in. He wouldn't even listen to me. Took my money though! Rushed me through paying yelling the whole time. My hands were shaking. I came home and seriously almost went back to confront him! I'm a local customer! This is in a small town, not an off some traveled highway! I will never go in there in again unless it is to talk to the manager about the night person's behavior. I was so upset he was so rude yelling and yelling. There was only one other person in the store but still, I was so upset and embarrassed. He ruined a perfectly good evening for me and my dog who was just quietly doing his job. He should not treat anyone like this! I'm a customer and your neighbor for 8 years now! I will never go here ever again...

I assumed the…read moreweather might keep people home, but between the snow and football Sunday, it was clearly a busy night. Despite that, our party of four was seated immediately, which was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was lively and loud because of the games, but not in a bad way. However, we were seated toward the back near the kids' area, and there were children screaming at the top of their lungs. Not the restaurant's fault at all, but definitely something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quieter experience -- this is clearly a very kid-friendly spot. We started with the fried pickles. They were tasty, but the portion was quite small and the presentation was pretty underwhelming. For my main, I ordered the French onion soup and boneless wings. The soup was great, but the wings were just okay -- very dry and lacking flavor. I ordered garlic parmesan, but could barely taste the sauce. The rest of my group ordered burgers and said they were pretty good, and everyone agreed the fries were excellent. They have a large beer selection, and the beer was cold, which is always a plus. They also have games like darts, which would be fun to come back and play. Overall, it's a decent place to watch a game if you're in the area. I won't rush back, but everything was pretty middle-of-the-road -- and to be fair, the place doesn't seem like it's trying to be anything more than that.
