Avocado Burger w/ Sweet Potato Fries
    Alexus N.

One word: BIG. Big burgers! Lol. It was one of those days where I was craving a nice juicy burger. I ordered the avocado burger with sweet potato fries for pickup. Though I love sweet potato fries, the amount of fries I received for the substitution charge wasn't justified (+$3.33 up-charge on DoorDash). It was a good burger, but it didn't "wow" me. The portion of the burger could be shared amongst 2 people. I didn't dine in, but when I arrived to pickup the order, the interior was neat and clean. The cashier spoke very little and gave me a cup for the fountain soda that came with my meal combo. I would highly recommend you bring all your burger lovin' friends here!

Wow what a great place for a burger. Coincidentally located catty corner to a Whataburger across the street. But I came here at eight and all I can say is "what a burger". First of all the patties are hand pressed, from what appears to be some very high-quality Angus beef. I foolishly ordered a double, and it was delicious but I was forced to get a box to take the rest of it home. And I ordered it without fries and it was still just too much to eat at one setting. Thousand Island dressing was a nice touch as well, and it was loaded down with tomatoes onions pickles and lettuce. I also ordered bacon but unless it's Wright Brand bacon folks it's just not that good. (I'm sorry I'm just a bacon snob) as with any hamburger, the bond is half of the experience, then they've got great fresh buns. What are the best things is unlike McDonald's for instance where you get two pickles and that's it ! Here they put plenty of pickles on the sandwich. (my wife said the pickle to meat ratio was proper) I don't get to this part of

Wow. Huge burger. I think the patties are 1/3 pound. I always get a double cheeseburger but only needed a single patty here! The burger tasted great, fries were great as well. Very good for a fried burger. The burger came out quickly and the service was prompt and friendly. The store had plenty of searing and enjoyed the normal music playing. I really enjoyed the burger and would recommend it.

    Crazy Burger

Finally had a chance to stop in here earlier today for a meal. I grabbed the crazy burger with fries. Clearly I underestimated the size of the crazy burger, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the fries. That burger was HUGE which I loved but let's get to the mechanics of the burger itself and how it stacks up as a burger. Let's start with the patties themselves. Good cut of meat, balanced fat and lean; they were just fatty enough to chew into easily and yet not too fatty so that they held form while eating, near perfection. Personally, I think they could've been seasoned a little better; nothing really popped in my mouth. On to the condiments. Good but again, nothing spectacular. Maybe a tad more sauce or a stronger cheese. Also, because of how the condiments were arranged, my tomato kept sliding out. Bun was great, soft and lightly toasted. So the burger was good, tender meat, good size, soft bun; but it was missing the "wow" factor for me to put it up there with some of the greats I've had in my life. Fries were really good. Well seasoned, soft with a nice crunch.

Kaila took care of us and her service was excellent, she was attentive, friendly, and offered some great recommendations. While the menu is somewhat limited, everything we ordered came out hot, fast, and really tasty. Everyone in our group enjoyed their burgers, and I especially loved the Brussels sprouts, shrimp salad, and the crab puffs. Parking can be a bit of a hassle in the area, but there is a parking garage adjacent to the restaurant which makes it manageable. Overall, it was a great birthday dinner and I'll definitely be returning.

The Brussel sprouts and crab hush puppies were great. The breakfast skillet, I could have done without. It had absolutely NO flavor. Luckily I asked for some sour cream and they were able to provide it. That's the only reason I was able to slightly enjoy the dish. The drinks. The mimosa was perfect. Hard to mess that up though right? I asked if they had any stouts and if so, if they could provide a sample. I'm so happy I asked for a sample and didn't just order the "one" stout they had. The beer was flat. So disappointing! Overall, the place was okay. I'd more than likely return for their drink happy hour, but it's a hard pass outside of that.

Located in Spring Branch, this fast casual restaurant is located in the same shopping center as quite a few solid eateries including The Blind Goat, Jinya, and Feges BBQ. In fact, Stuffed Belly is owned by Christine Ha, winner of season five of Masterchef. Parking wasn't an issue in the busy yet spacious complimentary lot around the shopping center. Ambiance (3/5): Stuffed Belly is more of a grab-and-go type spot. The reason? It's quite small. There are about five seats inside and one long picnic style seating area on the small patio. That's it. The restaurant looks nice, just tiny. Service (4.5/5): You order at the counter and they let you know when your order is ready. The ordering process was smooth and we got our food within a reasonable amount of time. While service isn't a big part of the experience, I didn't run into any issues. Drinks (N/A): I didn't order any beverages on this visit. Food (3/5): I went with the belly burger (their classic burger) and an order of the loaded tots. It was a mixed bag. I love a good smash burger, it's one of my favorite types of burgers. The ingredients are all quality. The problem? One issue is that it's a pretty small burger as you can tell from my picture. A kiddie burger of sorts. The loaded tots, on the other hand, were a generous portion. I have a weakness for loaded fries. As others have mentioned in their reviews, fries are not an option at Stuffed Belly. Tots only. I like tater tots too, but it is pretty bizarre for a burger spot to not have fries on the menu. The other issue I have is that both of my items (as well as what my mom ordered) was spicy. Take this with a grain of salt as I can only handle a little spice. Still, the menu offerings packed more of a punch than I expected. Which definitely impacted my enjoyment of the meal. If you like spicy, don't sweat it. If you don't, you're probably going to feel like I did. While Stuffed Belly underdelivered a bit for me, I did come in with high expectations. The Blind Goat is much better (though more expensive) in my book. Also keep in mind that Stuffed Belly closes pretty early on several days of the week... 8 p.m.

We ordered the following: - Mama Pauly's Meatballs - Buttermilk Popcorn Chicken Bites - White Truffle Devil Eggs - Single Cheeseburger Separate from the Happy Hour Menu: - KP's Wicked Wings (BBQ Flavor) - Crispy Sweet n/ Sour Shrimp Out of everything we ordered from the happy hour menu, I would personally recommend the meatballs, truffle devil eggs, and cheeseburger. The meatballs and tomato sauce were both solid and I loved the toasted bread on the side. As for the truffle deviled eggs, that's something you don't see often on the menu! The truffle flavor/aroma was solid and the fresh chips on top were nice. The cheeseburger was pretty good and I enjoyed all the veggies that came with! Aside from that, the restaurant had a neat interior/decorations and good service!

Yes, this is an affordable place to dine. My 2 Swai fillets and shrimp were well battered and tasty. You can also get catfish and redfish for an up charge. The hush puppies were large and hot and made this a satisfying and filling meal. Fountain View Fish Market serves very good tasting seafood from a simple menu and at low prices. It's a winning formula!
