I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised at the service I received and how inexpensive it was. My dog received excellent care AND it didn't break the bank! My mom has been taking her dog's to…read morePetco Needham grooming for years, and had a wonderful groomer named Lisa who sadly no longer works there. Unfortunately, last weekend my mom brought her sweet and loveable 4 year old dog to get groomed, dropped her off like she usually does and left. 3.5 hours later my mom was called and told that they weren't able to groom her since she was "aggressive" and they needed to wear gloves. Upon arrival, my mom witnessed her dog in a crate, sitting in her own poop with an actively bleeding paw. All that was done in the 3.5 hours was a bath and her nails cut. On the counter was a paper belonging to a different dog which said "anxious and aggressive" and Donna B claimed that my mom had signed it. This was false, it wasn't even for my mom's dog, but a different dog. Clearly upset by the abuse her dog endured at the hands of Donna B, the manager on duty, whose name she didn't know, was just as bad and was trying to charge my mom. Are you kidding me?? His complete lack of sense and Donna B's clear incompetence and disregard for the dog that she was entrusted to care for is highly concerning to say the least. My mom spoke to another manager Monday, who was much nicer and understanding, (not sure if his name) who tried to make it right. But the damage Donna B had done is unforgivable, and understandably my mom will not go back with her dog. Do better Donna B and Petco, how you treat animals in your care can have lasting effects. My mom's dog did not deserve what Donna B did to her, so I hope anyone bringing their pet to Petco in Needham for grooming will be aware and think twice before allowing Donna B anywhere near their pet.
