My pup can be a bit anxious, and when we moved to the area from Boston, I was nervous about leaving her groomer behind and finding someone new. Luckily we discovered the Bark Club shortly after moving in and haven't looked back since! The store itself is really cute, they have an awesome selection of toys, treats, and other supplies, and always have the best seasonal items. They offer a full slate of grooming services, and some self-serve options that I haven't tried just yet. They even have a bunch of customizations like doggie facials, paw treatments, seasonal shampoo scents, etc. (Honestly never felt like spending the money on that stuff, but if that's your thing, you do you.) My absolute favorite part about this place is that it's cage-free. So instead of having one groomer working on multiple dogs at once and putting them in crates for various portions of the appointment, your groomer is only focused on your pup from start to finish. My Maisie is in and out in half the time, for only slightly more $$, than we were paying in the city. IMO, it's well worth it for my anxious girl. Petco in Quincy is where I typically go to get food, toys, and treats for my pets. I remember I got…read moremy first guinea pig from this location many years ago! Normally, they have guinea pigs, hamsters, parrots, and other animals for purchase, however, when I stopped in recently (a few days ago), they did not have any pets in store. Apparently, they had a fire a few months ago and are working on making it safe enough to have pets in store again. It'll be about another year and a half before they have pets again here. Staff is always nice here. Never had any issues. Parking; street parking or parking lot!

The worker Jen told me all about this little guy and that this Petco was having a weekend of information and deals that you wouldn't believe. I went in today and I told Tara that I was interested in this little boy. He's not a baby but smaller than any other place had. I had been to 5 places and he was the one. It was a 50% off sale on reptiles! It was a sign to buy him. I got the tank and everything else a couple of weeks ago when I made up my mind this was definitely happening. Jen told me so much about my tortoise and she helped me make up my mind. Tara helped me with picking out a hide and flooring for my new Baby. His name is Tommy the tortoise and if not for the great knowledge and amazing customer service I received I wouldn't have gotten my dream come true. Thank you so much Girls.

Upon reaching out for services, I encountered a receptionist, Lynne, or onboarding staff member who exhibited inflexibility and lacked clarity regarding the availability of days for my dog's care. Despite claiming to be "almost at capacity on Tuesdays and Thursdays," they were evasive about providing alternative days, showing a prioritization of their convenience over accommodating paying customers like myself. Moreover, they failed to establish a designated time for pickup or drop-off, leaving me to initiate communication for this vital information. Their response indicated a vague pickup window of "probably between 9:45 and 10:15." On the day of service, despite providing my precise address, including apartment number, and contact number well in advance, I received a call from the receptionist at 10:38 a.m., exceeding the initially provided pickup window. By the time I reached the designated spot, the driver, who coincidentally was also the owner Neal, had already departed. Upon contacting the receptionist, I was met with the explanation that the driver "waited for a second and then had to leave because he was on schedule." However, their scheduling should have allowed for minor delays, especially considering the substantial one-hour pickup windows already established. Furthermore, the receptionist attempted to shift blame onto me, stating that the driver was unaware of my apartment complex and lacked my direct contact information. This assertion is unfounded, as I had provided detailed information including my apartment number, and the receptionist had my contact details on record. Their refusal to take responsibility and insistence on blaming the customer instead of acknowledging their organizational shortcomings is disappointing, particularly for a business claiming 20 years of experience. As this incident occurred on our first day of service, I expected a modicum of grace and professionalism. However, the receptionist's conduct and subsequent blame-shifting left much to be desired. Their assumption that all customers reside in single-family homes further underscores their lack of consideration for varying circumstances. Based on this experience, I cannot in good faith recommend this business, and I am relieved that my dog was not subjected to their care. Update to review: I received an email from the owner, Neal, with an apology about the incident and not seeing the apartment number. I appreciate the follow-up and i think its a good learning experience for everyone."

After getting treated so rudely at another store I've been going to for years, this place not having as big of a selection is made up for in the customer service department. I recently switched my pet over to a different diet and the healthy animal just happens to carry exactly what I need.
