Super friendly staff very accommodating.Transaction went smooth from start to finish. Day before our wedding we wanted to compare which vehicle we wanted to use. Day of wedding, our driver Lloyd arrived 15 minutes ahead of time. He was a total gentleman, said he was ready to go if need be. We took our time and he waited till the the group was ready. He took my wife to our first look location along with the court. Moved to several locations until he finally took us to the venue. JMI Limo was awesome! Limo prices in the city are pretty much commoditized (everybody charges the same rates give or take 15%), so you need to look for other factors when hiring a limo company. Their communication was very good. Very quick and responsive to our email correspondence. Their vehicle roster was also awesome; we had a surplus of options to choose from. And finally, our expectations were exceeded on the day of our Wine Tour. Jeff Lazarus was our driver and he was awesome. He had great advice and insight about wineries, and he did a great job of keeping us on-time, as to not run late and incur additional fees. Herding 13 people to 3 different wineries and starting and ending on time is a herculean effort. Well done, Jeff! And lastly, the tip for the driver was included in our purchase price, which was nice so we didn't have to scramble to come up with cash at the end of the day. read more

After a several disappointing experiences with JMI, Johnny reached out to me in effort to make things right, which we appreciated. Therefore we gave JMI another chance this past month for my sons 21st. Our driver (can't remember his name-older guy but way cool!) was dressed to the nines, incredibly kind, and professional! We were told a different person would be our driver and even had that person's name/cell, but I'm SO GLAD we got who we did instead. He went above and beyond for us that night by sticking by our side all night driving us to multiple locations (which we planned to walk to or use the train within city center during) even though the plan was for him to drop us off beginning of the evening and pick us up later that night when our fun was done. He was even very quick to pull the limo over on the freeway so that my newly 21 year old son could 'get some air' (he wasn't well). He even got out with us to offer any assistance to my son. We ordered a 20 person black bus and I was absolutely amazed with the quality of the entire setup. It was very spacious even with 20 people! Our driver Jeff was one of the most considerate and patient drivers I've ever come across. He waited for us and always stayed in contact. The best part of the ride, after traveling to almost every bar, we went on a small Portland tour over the bridges and everyone was in awe when we went over the Fremont. We called JMI at the very last minute because our other shuttle service canceled on us due to the snow. We had a huge Christmas party we needed to shuttle people back-and-forth from the hotel. An extremely shady and dishonest company. I was planning an out of state Bachelor party and made a poor decision of trusting the owner of this company (Stevi) and all the assurances she gave me over email and phone about the quality of her automobiles. To make a long story short, I wound up paying over $1,300 for a limo she promised us is an "awesome car"; It showed up in 90 degree heat with absolute ZERO, 100% BROKEN Air Conditioning, and a broken audio system. Are you freaking kidding me? Dripping sweat from the second we left for dinner to the moment we returned home. When I reached out to the owner following the rental, absolutely no response. In addition, I got ripped off for an additional $160 because they pre-charge you for tip and do not make that clear. What kind of disrespectful human being does this, then stonewalls the customer? I'm posting this in hopes others will think twice and not run the risk of ruining their special occasion by working with someone who has zero heart. She doesnt invest in her fleet, the cars old and beaten up. If you must, see and evaluate the car in person. Test the radio connection. Test the AC. JMI limo service is awesome! My sister booked them for my bachlorette party two weeks ago and it worked out perfect! They were on time, friendly, clean, helpful, and very fun! We wanted to go on a wine tour but didn't know about good wineries, our driver, victor, planned the whole day for us. He picked us up lunch, brought us flowers from a local farm, and entertained us the whole day! This review is long overdue, but I feel compelled to write it. I've dealt with many limousine/livery companies over the years -- multiple cities and various countries, and Johnny at JMI has, without a doubt, the most professional and personable service out there. With less than a week's notice I had to book a small bus to go down to Eugene on a Saturday for a Ducks game. Not only did Johnny enthusiastically respond, he ensured all our needs were met with while remaining incredible flexible. We had to make several changes in the days leading up to it, and there was never an issue from anyone on his staff. On the actual day our driver, Shawn, was courteous, efficient, respectful and incredibly proficient, without being the typical "clock-watching" driver one sometimes gets. The vehicle (the "party bus", a small luxury bus) was clean, well-kept, super comfortable and made for a great social experience. I'd argue the ride there and back was as enjoyable as the game. JMI limousines My experience with them was quite mixed. The driver was terrific and so was the limousine itself. However, their back office operation leaves much to be desired: I 1st called 7-9 months before date of event and reserved the limousine service. I asked for details (pick up time, location, services with the limousine, price, etc) sent to me by e-mail. I received nothing. By phone, I was told a concierge would call me a least a month before to discuss wineries etc. Did not happen. Next I called 3 months before our event to ask what was the price. Christine sounded annoyed, impatient, dismissive, and brusque. And such was every telephone interaction with her. Not the voice a business expecting repeat service would want. So, I decided to speak to the other rep., Taylor, from then on because she was a lot more polite. She left a message a month before the event to get the pick up location, etc. She left her number and an email address to reach her. Despite e-mailing her all the requested information one month prior, I received no response; nor did a repeat e-mail 3 weeks before elicit a response, neither by e-mail nor by telephone. One week before our planned event, I called again. Same lack of response. Finally I called one of the drivers. He was attentive and apologized for the delay and promised a response within 5 minutes from the back office. Christine called and was just as rude as before. So, I asked to speak to Taylor but she was on lunch break at 4pm. Taylor called back at 5:15pm that evening. I couldn't take the call at that moment. As the office was closing, she told me to call back the next day. So 5 days prior to out event, and we spoke by phone about the email I sent her. She told me she hadn't received either of the e-mails above, claiming that another employee who checks e-mails must have messed up. Note also I still hadn't received a call or message from concierge. Finally, 2 days before the event I received all the needed information. The concierge finally deigns to leave a message the next day, the day prior to the event. By that point our plans were finalized, for between the above calls and another to the driver, I had coordinated all the loose ends. The day of the event was wonderful. The driver Victor Gonzalez was great! That was the best part! But honestly, whoever is managing this crew has his/her work cut out. Christine needs telephone training. The concierge (Tan apparently) was useless. And all 3 of them need some means of reliably working through a to do list on every job. Count the number of dropped balls above. Really, what's the matter with an invoice, an itinerary, and a description of what's included in the limousine? Until this state of disorganization is fixed, I would not recommend this company to anyone, unless they want a lot of extra stress. I got a good deal on a 6 hour rental of the black party bus. Or so I thought. So pick up was at 8 pm but then at 1 am my time was up? That doesn't add up. So then I was pressured into a $160 gratuity to make up the time. We were dropped off at 2:15 am. Other than that the bus was cool, good sound system. The driver was cool also till the very end. (Around midnight I asked when our time was up he said 1. I said okay how much for an extra hour. I' didnt want to try to renegotiate the deal. I thought I had six hours. He said just take care of me. So when I got home I gave him a 130 tip, he wanted $160. So I gave it to him..... didnt want to argue or disputes. Risk putting a sore taste to my wife bday. But yeah I feel a little hustled. read more

We rented a party bus for a birthday surprise, at the end of the night we really appreciated our driver and tipped him well. Few days later the owner tried to charge us additional $150 for damages WITHOUT telling us, my bank had to call me for suspicious behavior. When I called the owner Johnny he said it was for damages, I requested to see these damages his reply was "you should have done a walk through." I then at least requested a picture or could I see it myself, he kept saying no and I told him I didn't feel comfortable paying for something I didn't see especially after he tried to charge us already. The conversation was going in circles, in the end he said "I know where you live, I could come over and we could discuss face to face." Whoa way to be super sketchy! I ended up paying the charges just to get rid of him he immaturely was peeved because "I still won". Afterwards I reported him to the Better Buisness Bureau, they told me I shouldn't have paid and already had a file on him - lesson learned. read more
