I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price.

After his blah blah blah and round and round we go for 30 minutes he states he can lower it to $147.63 locked in for 5 years, including upping my WiFi speed to 1 GPS and no change in service. Cool, I agree and we part ways. Three hours later I flick on the TV to see I'm missing a bunch of channels. I call Xfinity and spoke with Yvette and after awhile she states I went from 125 channels down to 20-25 channels. Grrrr j aws tight moment. I ask to reinstate the 125 channels. She does and after 15 minutes said my monthly would be $220 and that's the best she could do. Ridiculous. And gave her an April 30th end of service. I call the store, Ali does a 3 way call with the tech, 48 minutes on the phone, no help. Tech said it will work in 1 hour. Tech asked for my email address to set up and appointment to come and check it if it doesn't work. This is Friday, they are talking about the following Monday. Thank goodness we still had old Gateway and used that for wifi. I rebox the new Gateway Box and take it back, again 2 days later. The sales associate tells me to take it to UPS, WHAT! He is new so I ask for a Manager, the managers , Israel and Frank, both told me to take it to UPS. I go down the street on Blackstone 5195 N. Blackstone ( THIS IS A VERIZON COMPANY STORE ) They said it hasn't been 30 days so they should take it back. I told them the Managers basically told me to go pound sand. They took care of the whole thing for me, explained everything and took the box and said don't worry we got it. HERE IS WHAT THEY TOLD ME. THEY HAD THE WRONG ADDRESS IN THE SYSTEM AS THE HOOK UP ADDRESS. ALL THE INFORMATION IS CORRECT FOR MY MILS ADDRESS. SO THEY SCREW UP, ARE NOT TRUTHFUL AND OFFER NO HELP. YEP THATS HOW THEY WORK. Once I arrive there the manager Ray assisted me right away and introduced me to Noberto who is the technician throughout the transaction. I appreciate it their time and their patience because when you transfer one phone to another as we know it takes it consumes a lot of amount of time.
