When our heat stopped working a few days ago we contacted JNT mechanical based on a recommendation from a friend of ours that uses them frequently. We called them at 8pm, expecting to leave a message and hear back from them the next day since it was so late in the day, however, we were pleasantly surprised when John answered right away and said he would be happy to come out that night. He was at our house within an hour of us calling and had our heat up and running in 2 hours. The most amazing part is that I had geared myself up for paying through the nose since it was so late at night, but he didn't charge us any kind of night fee/ emergency fee. With his labor and the part, we paid less than half of what we were expecting to pay!!We have a 16 year old furnace, that we will most likely have to replace soon, but instead of John trying to sell us in replacing, he said he could fix the part and that would buy us some time to save money to replace the furnace at a later date. Needless to say, we are going to call John in the fall to do the replacement. He is such an honest guy and we can't recommend him enough!! read more

We have used JNT many times in the past and had the pleasure of working with Alex and Peter again yesterday- a Sunday. Our heat stopped working very suddenly last night. I'm not sure what time it stopped running, but when I got up at 12 to feed my daughter, the thermostat was reading 63 degrees. I called right then bc it was freezing and only getting colder (my baby's nose was ice cold). I asked Alex if they could come out first thing this morning and he said they were pretty busy in the morning already but insisted I didn't have to wait until the afternoon and offered to come fix it right then. He arrived in under 30 mins, fully masked, wearing shoe booties, and gloves. He had us back in business in about 20 mins and insisted we only pay him for the part and no labor since he was done so quickly. This kind of service is nearly nonexistent these days, people are constantly trying to pick your pockets for everything they can, this is not how JNT Mechanical does business and I couldn't be more grateful to these honest, kind, hardworking guys. Don't usually post reviews, blah blah blah. HOWEVER, JNT Mechanical is a treasure! After weeks of not being able to get schedule with "regular guy, JNT called me in response to my emails (their replies ended up in my spam folder so they took the initiative to call) It was my luck that they had an opening for furnace maintenance the very next morning between 8 - 10 am. Peter arrived exactly at 8 am, called from his auto to let me know he was here, and got right to work. Regular maintenance on my furnace revealed that a new ignition switch was needed (I could tell that was the case by the way the furnace would ignite these past few weeks). Also my luck that Peter had the part needed ... which is guaranteed for the life of the furnace as long as you schedule regular maintenance through them (I will), as well as the humidifier filter that also needed replacement. I contacted JNT Mechanical based on customer reviews and am happy to add my own positive review. And...wait for it...they schedule weekend appointments. JK read more

10 Stars Johnny is Honest, Honest, Honest and his quality of work is excellent. Let me tell you about my experience. I came home late last night from a vacation and could not wait to take a warm shower. I ended up taking an ice cold shower do to my water heater not working. I tried to relight the pilot for about an hour and gave up realizing that it was time for a new one. The following afternoon, I called JNT and explained my situation and also mentioned that my hot water heater was in a terribly tight spot and we might need to cut the drywall out. Johnny met me at my house in exactly one hour after we spoke with a brand new hot water heater and spent the next 5 hours removing the old one, the drywall and installing the new one. I am still in shock as to how smoothly everything went. Please do not waste your time calling anyone else for HVAC. Johnny and JNT are life savers. I had another company come out to check my AC which was not working, they didn't even look at it for five minutes before they told me that I needed to replace it. They gave me a price on the spot for over $11,000. The speed with which they diagnosed that I needed a new AC left me uneasy so decided to get a second opinion. My sister is in a Facebook group of Mom's and she gave me the most recommended referral for HVAC which was JNT mechanical services. Peter came the same day and went over the AC very carefully and found that there was a small part that needed repairing. if the people at JNT had told me that I needed to replace my AC, I would've done it but Peter's honesty and attention to detail saved me from spending my hard earned money on something I didn't need. It's shocking how easily people will lie to you to make money or the tech of the first company had no idea what he was doing. From the moment I spoke to John over the phone I sensed his honesty and sincerity. John, came to my house to provide an estimate on my malfunctioning AC unit on his day off, Sunday. John, provided a very competitive price against 3 other companies, and John's work and service was excellent. I was also impressed that he didn't charge me extra labor when more work had to be done. All he ask for was additional payment for the extra materials used. John, has come to my house two more times since and, did a fantastic job. I highly recommend John. JNT Mechanical Services is the absolute best HVAC company I have dealt with. My neighbour recommended them and I'm so happy I listened to her recommendation.. I had four seasons,, ABT, All temp, and JNT mechanical services I'll come out to give me estimates for a new AC. I won't go any details but I will say that the highest was 17,000 for one AC and JNT was the lowest by over $8000. How is that even possible? Big Pharma has got nothing on these HVAC companies and their profit margins it should be absolutely illegal. Anyways, JNT came they were responsive kind clean and did a wonderful job. John came out of his way to install a lighting fixture a friend of mine wasn't able to hook up correctly. While he was here, I asked him to look at my furnace, which was on the fritz. He actually left to go get the appropriate part. I'm a woman who owns my own condo, and I've no idea about things like this; a lot of companies can take advantage of the situation by charging me more because they can. JNT was amazing to work with. Our heat went out on a Sunday morning and we frantically called JNT. We were pretty sure we knew what was wrong and told them. Before having us pay for them to come out they suggested we try a quick troubleshooting method that could fix the issue on its own. They easily could have skipped this and just come out and charged us for it--I so appreciate their attempt to save us money. I am not a 'savvy' appliance person, that's for sure. So, when my AC went out on the first hot day of the summer, I wasn't sure who to call. We called a bunch of companies to come fix our heat on one of the coldest nights, and John at JNT was the only one who answered on the first ring. He sent out a technician named Peter who arrived on time. He quickly found the problem and just so happened to have the part on his truck which was a big relief. Couldn't have had a better experience. From the ease of setting up an appointment with Rachel to the technician. Peter came out just for a yearly furnace inspection. He was very thorough and took his time to inspect my unit. Didn't try to push any unnecessary repairs or upgrades which was a great change to other companies I had used.
