Last May I wanted a footlong hot dog from jojos as a birthday lunch for myself. When I opened the container they ended up giving me two of the ugliest hotdogs I've ever seen in my entire life! I order chipped beef on potatoes w butter toast in the side. My husband always gets pancakes fried eggs over easy with bacon and buttered toast. The scrapple cook style is inconsistent so sometimes I order other times I leave it out. As far as breakfast I would definitely recommend. I've never had anything other than breakfast here. I am a long time customer of Jo Jo's and their food is always good, no questions asked. I was VERY disappointed tonight, we showed up around 7:40 and we were waiting for two people and the waitress made it clear that they were going to close at 8:30 even though the door says 9:00. We all felt very rushed and even pushed out the door. There was another couple coming in at 8:20 and the waitress said something to this older couple and the gentlemen said "Fine, we will go then." It was after this same waitress said something to them. This is a place I like supporting but now, after tonight, it was apparent the staff here was not concerned for the customers, they were more worried about leaving. In fact, I saw them lock the doors at 8:28 even though more customers pulled into the parking lot! If you do NOT want to be open until 9:00, change your hours! The pancakes are my favorite!! Food is always good and fresh from here. The blueberry muffins are great too I'm sad they run out so fast but mhmmm. You would think a place with a name like that they would have amazing hot dogs. So I ordered an extra dark grilled dog to take to my mom in the hospital. I know I should have checked it before walking out but I didn't. Get to the hospital and open the container see its split down the middle but it's not even cooked. It was even cold and so was the bun on an 85' day. So I felt guilty and took it home and grilled it myself then took it to my mom. Next time I'll stop at sonic or burger king instead. read more

I don't have one thing bad to say about the place! Whenever my husband and his family, or my husband and my family dine in the staff is five stars. The waitresses already know on the lunch shift what my husband and his father want to drink, and bring it to the table without even asking first. Fast service, easy location, and very large helpings, but food was just OK IMHO. The home fries weren't fried enough for me and my friend, and the scrapple is cut thick and deep fried leaving it mushy inside. Between 3 of us, we got eggs, toast, home fries, pancakes, French toast and it was truly enough food for 5 adults. While that is a value if you leave with a doggie bag, I never do that with breakfast food so it's a waste. I've read reviews about the desk staff and owners not being friendly, but we only dealt with a waitress who was very nice and helpful. This place was OK, and I wouldn't necessarily avoid it, but I wouldn't make a trip there again. read more
