SERVICE WAS SO BAD ! the food was great took so fast but not only did the guy leave in the back once but twice yes and then when he came back the second time he decided it was a good idea to crawl on the floor. also my chicken wings it looks like someone took a number 2 in them and also they were out of fried pickles and half of the ice cream materials! when I first walked in, there was about 8 to 10 tables that haven't been cleaned off. It still had dirty dishes food the food smelled horrible and there was melted ice everywhere. There was bread on the floor and I've seen about three people walk out in the past 20 minutes I've been here. This service is unacceptable. also the guy in the back turned into whatever is in the picture below. and the air particles played taylor swift songs the ENTIRE TIME. but love the drama because i am in drama club. read more

I have gotten ice cream for myself and my kids twice. We are in love. My oldest is crazy over the hamburger too. I got the strawberry cheesecake, with whipped. Soooo good. They have so many different flavors. The people their are also so very friendly and they greet & thank you upon leaving. I've tried to order take out from them. I have done so successfully recently. They declined my credit card that had plenty of money in the account. A message says to order directly from the store. When you call the store, they tell you that they can't deliver that it goes through Door Dash(the company that just declined a perfectly good card & referred me to contact them). I was at this friendlys on march 5 2022 and I ordered loaded waffle fries for twelve dollars and some change and when these fries came out there was the most minuscule amount of bacon and cheese on them that I have ever seen. Most importantly the fries themselves. There were about 14 fries on my plate in total. As well, all 9 of my friends said that their food had no flavor and was a waste of money. Food is only ok. Service is the worst. You will wait at least 45 mins no matter what you order and no matter how many people are inside. My child's sundae was brought to us completely melted and the waitress said, "oh, sorry that took long." We were furious! The ceiling is covered in black mold because of the central air unit. My friend made a quick u-turn when she saw childhood favorite, Friendly's. I decided on the clam chowder cups and the patty melt with fries. The clam chowder was SMACKING. I love a good clam chowder and happen to be a bit of a snob. This was the best I've had outside of San Francisco. The flavors were on point and it was the perfect consistency which made for the perfect cold day appetizer. My patty melt was good and cooked well, but lacked in flavor. I personally feel as if it could have used additional cheese to pump up the flavor a bit. The fries were good and cooked to a nice crisp with the perfect potato goodness on the inside. If you're thinking this review ends here then you're wrong. I had the cookies n cream ice cream, whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles for dessert. It was good ice cream and the perfect way to top off the meal. The food was good and I'd Def go back for more when in the area. The staff was extremely friendly so that was actually a big bonus. Terrible experience last night. Bathrooms are filthy. I asked to make my French fries well done and to put my cheeseburger on rye bread instead of a bun with grilled onions - requested nothing else on the burger. The waitress rolled her eyes and said "I'll ask the cook but that's not on the menu." I should have just left at that point but I was hungry! Food comes out - it's got mayo, lettuce and fronions on it. French fries definitely not well done or even close. Waitress asked my husband did he want the "senior portion" (he's 47). Table behind us has to ask for water twice. When the waitress finally takes water to the table - she takes 1 glass (for 3 customers). As we are finishing the waitress tells us she has to go out to her car for awhile???? Don't even know what that means - so she disappears while we sit and impatiently wait for a check. At the end she asks if everything is ok - we tell her no and we won't ever be back - she just shrugs her shoulders and walks away. While I understand that Friendly's is barely 1 step up from fast food, I still think this was unacceptable read more

We went to Friendly's at peoples plaza for dinner. It was our first visit to Friendly's ever. We got a honey barbecue burger and Apple harvest salad. Both were great. The grilled chicken on the salad was warm - fresh from the grill and apples were crispy. The fries with the burger were hot and good. This is my worst experience ever with friendly's. It's very busy tonight but my experience still should have been up to par. I ordered big beef burger with cheese and waffle fries. I told waitress no tomato. That was the only thing I didn't want on that. My dinner came. I got burger with cheese on toast and few waffle fries. The menu said nothing about toast. I asked the waitress if I could have it served on roll. She didn't even take my burger back. She just brought out a roll and I had to switch the cut in half burger to a roll. I was still eating waffle fries when the waitress came over and started asking me about dessert. I was not happy. This is the first time. When I explained to the waitress why I wasn't happy with my dinner, she proceeded to argue with me. She said let me show you from the menu and she showed me that it comes with American cheese and a touch of mayo. I explained to her it doesn't say anything about bread and that I was expecting the other things like lettuce and onion.
