I wanted to buy my younger daughter her first bottles of the brand for her birthday so she chose EHWT she wanted and the ladies let her choose her courtesy gift wrapping. I bought fragrance for my home because I already have bottles of this brand in my wardrobe. The in p-person experience was really nice, unrushed, easy. Moreover, I specifically wanted purchasing the haunting, scintillating "Do Son" Fragrance Collection's shower oil, hand cream, candle, and TSA parfum vials which has my olfactory senses absolutely captivated. Moreover, Do Son's fragrance isn't overwhelming: Its characteristical fragrance notes are subdued, subtle, and more importantly, the scent once applied after showering in the morning will last at least, forty-eight hours. Aside, Diptyque's Boutique locations always gifts me complimentary Do Son travel samples. Aside, I discovered Diptyque's Boutique locations when I initially visited Diptyque's UK Boutique locations--Harrods and Spitalfields in 2018; all Diptyque's Boutique locations are impressive via rendering 100% Customer Service indeed. Therefore, I'm absolutely elated visiting Diptyque's Boutique USA locations especially, Corte Madera CA: IMHO, Corte Madera is a new store since, the entire shopping center has created an upscale shopping experience, i.e., I have been frequenting Corte Madera's shopping center since, 1998! I called her and asked if she can help replace the glass for me and she rushed me off and said I can come in and buy another one. I almost cut myself and so did my 7 year old from trying to pick it up. I drive all the way from EPA to give her business and I'm going to have to tell my contacts to just go to a place closer to us in the peninsula. All it takes is one bad customer service experience and she didn't even try to apologize for not wrapping it well. So disappointing.

Prices are a bit up there, but I think it matches the quality. These aren't cheap candles and incense sticks that are overpowering and strong, and they don't burn fast. I have my new kitchen and bathroom designed, the electricians are coming and I am ready to make my selections. I take time from my day to drive over to this place in my old neighborhood. When I arrived, there was another client ahead of me. That was no problem. I wasn't in a hurry as I had set this time aside for this purpose. I was looking around the room and the woman working there asked me what I needed and when I told her, "a lot of lighting" she let me know that she wouldn't be available to help me for 20 minutes or so. I said, that's fine I can wait. Then she asked me if I had made a list of what I needed and what purpose/function I expected from each light fixture. Ummmm. I have a list in my head. I haven't written down a list. I am not a list making type of person but I know my spaces. Then she tells me I need to go home and make a list and come back when I have it because otherwise, I am going to "fall in love" with items out of my budget. Huh?? I was so confused! She had no idea what my budget was. She literally sent thousands of dollars in unsolicited business out the door. This place must not need new clients. That's ok. There are plenty of places that will happily take my money. I walked into an appliance store today and they were thrilled to show me their inventory and assist me in my purchases. It was a stark contrast to my experience at Lunaria. EDIT: To respond to the response. You are not being truthful with what happened. NEVER did you infer that I step out for coffee and come back. I WAS the person who asked for catalogs to look through while waiting and you specifically told me that would be a waste of time without a list. Even your client seemed to pick up on the fact that you were about to lose a customer and she then said, "Here, here are some catalogs if you would like to view them." and that is when I said, "She just said that would be a waste of time and is not her process." If you're going to tell the story, please be honest about what occurred. Super frustrating experience considering I set time aside to come view some lighting and even was very clear that I was in no hurry and didn't mind waiting for you to finish.
