I walked in and zipped my 5lb, 18 yr old dog up in my jacket even tho the security guard said it was ok to let him walk around but I figured it was more considerate to carry him in my coat. The g*y male employee had attitude written all over his face and demeanor but I told myself not to judge by appearance and asked for his help to find a foundation. Man, was he snotty from the get go. He led me to the Dior products and put some foundation on the back of his hand. I asked if they had any organic foundation and he rolled his eyes and abruptly returned the bottle to the shelf like I had totally inconvenienced him. Wow. I said, "it's OK just carry on what you were doing." He reached over to my face to dab product on it WITH HIS FINGER, and my toothless dog gave him a warning. A 5lb 18yr old toothless dog and this guy acted like he was physically abused. It's not like he even got bit, and my tiny dog couldn't cause any harm even if he tried. He was so rude, "Yeah, no, this isn't going to happen." SUCH an over-reactive jerk. I should have trusted my instincts about him. I walked away from him to another employee, very sweet young girl. Saw the jerk guy gossiping about the incident in the corner with coworkers. Walked by him and called him a jerk (the least of which he was) and he got all uppity like he'd been slapped, saying I had to leave over and over again, making a big dramatic scene. Asked for manager (she was one of the recipients of the gossip in the corner). She wanted another employee to accompany me and the girl who was going to help me-- what? Like I'm some criminal threat? Nice management and customer relations-- NOT. Rude, oppressive, unprofessional. Wow, I will never step foot in there again. He nor the manager ever even smiled. Horribly run. If I were the owner, I would be mortified reading these negative reviews and DO something about it! The young girls there were very sweet but this fussy, g*y Karen guy and manager were just awful and should not be working with the public who are there to spend their money and support their business. I'm so sick and tired of businesses like this where they think they're doing YOU a huge favor. That generation (particularly of his "ilk") are so entitled and governed by their self important, over-exaggerated feelings. IT'S NOT ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS. Do your job or don't work with the public. I not only do not recommend giving this place your business and your money, but would say steer entirely clear of it. Aside from a couple pleasant young women and the security guard at the front door who was so sweet, they're a hot, rude mess.

You're walking down the Village promenade in the Village Plaza and next thing you know you're grabbed by Olga and literally pulled into the store for sampling. [I have to give MICA credit for their enthusiasm, but I fear such assertiveness may not be for the weak of heart! My previous appointment cost $429, with $224 out of pocket, so this would have meant spending over $400 for a tube of tretinoin because of an administrative mistake. What disappointed me most was the response from the front desk. When I explained my concerns, the lead staff member dismissively said, "This is healthcare," with no empathy and no attempt to help find a reasonable solution. Mistakes happen, but how a practice responds to them matters. Patients should not have to pay for a second visit to correct an error that wasn't their fault. I developed some blood clots and substantial pain in my arm. Without me feeling a thing, he opened it up and repaired it all. This past few weeks, I had a swollen lymph node beneath my ear drained in a local hospital - a simple procedure - and apparently the doctor punctured a vein and it swelled to three times the size it was when I came in. For two weeks I was in agony as it continued to swell while the hospital staff said "nothing we can do. It will heal eventually." This after CT scans, MRI's, everything. The swelling pressed on my ear canal, my jaw, and I looked like Quasimodo. I went to Keith Denkler in excruciating pain. In 30 minutes he drained 13 cc's of dark blood and relieved the pain - I hardly felt anything as he did it. The next day he drained another 13 cc's - and over the weekend, the massive swelling in my jaw continued to shring to 1/4 of the original side. He did it all with little or no discomfort. I've been able to work, sleep and avoid pain meds - none of which was true for over two agonizing weeks. This is a doctor who cares who knows, and should be teaching the others how to do this work.
