I tried this brunch and coffee place this morning and was pleased. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and given some great options by the barista. My order was received in a timely manner and the mango tea is delicious! I'll def. Be back for a study or friend date for sure.

Was actually looking for somewhere to have mimosas at 930 but didn't realize you can't have alcohol until 10. The food was good. You order at the counter so I can't say much about the service but it was pleasant enough. Place was clean. I had the breakfast tacos, my husband has the monte cristo. The tacos were really good. I looked up photos on yelp and they looked really appealing so I'm glad I went with that. My husband liked his sandwich but the potatoes were the best part. The sandwich we both prefer a monte cristo to be fried or just like crispier not so soggy. I enjoyed the food but unfortunately I looked at the reviews for the other location and saw a response from the business owner that didn't seem right but I assumed the tone didn't translate well over text yet when I came to this page I see it's a trend. I do not patronize businesses where the owner cannot take criticism in a professional manner and instead chooses to be rude and condescending so if you feel the same consider this a warning. Based off that I won't be returning or recommending and neither will the others in our party.

This is the cutest little spot to stop in for coffee and a tasty bite to eat. Tons of beverage options including seasonal coffees. The crepe was delicious and packed full of flavor. Service was prompt and they offer mostly indoor seating with 2 outside tables perfect for 2-3. They also have bar type seating which seemed to be a popular area for those dining in while working. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

So this is a where you look at a menu and then walk to counter and order/pay type place. I wasn't expecting that for some reason. I always feel rushed in those situations and makes my anxiety peak. Weird, I know. Anyway, we ordered some coffees, a breakfast burrito and the cubano sandwich. Employees were very friendly. The restaurant definitely feels more like a small coffee shop. Had a small issue with finding a spot to sit (they were pretty busy), but found a corner when others left. The food was tasty. Hubby was pleased with the size and taste of his chorizo burrito. The cubano came with fries which were nice and hot. The only thing I was (mildly) disappointed with was that the cubano wasn't made with a roll and pressed panini style, but on normal toast. That was a bit weird. Also, I wish their coffees were way bigger, cause it was pretty small for a large and it was quite tasty so I wanted more! Overall, this is a nice place to try out.

Located on The Square in Murfreesboro, this adorable little restaurant has a great atmosphere, pleasant employees & a varied breakfast/brunch menu. Seating is limited, so we don't always luck out getting a table (seating is first come, first serve), but you can request your order to go. The lattes are delicious (the seasonal drinks are like a warm hug), with multiple flavors & milks to choose from. The food is hot, delicious & served to your table (or to go) fairly quickly and we love the order tags provided so you're not giving out your name (it's fun to hear the barista belt out "Latte for Scrooge!"). Great place for families or couples, but not somewhere to sit for prolonged periods of time (aka not a coffee shop).

Today while running to Dr appts and just running errands, we stopped for a quick coffee that turned into a quick breakfast. I have been to Joanie's quite a bit but today it was very good. Everything we ordered came out super tasty. I'm also glad it's early in the week because on the weekends this location is jam packed and it's obvious why. The service was quick and easy! The food was on point and let me tell I don't leave or drive by without stopping for that Cuban coffee. One of the best in town.

Service was great! It was somewhat loud inside. It's a order then sit down type of set up. Although I had to get up to get my coffee my food was brought to the table upon completion. Chicken waffle Sammy was decent. Waffle was a little to soggy for me but the chicken was tasty. Menu was alittle overwhelming for it being my first time. Overall it was good. Honey bear coffee was excellent and yes they have oat milk alternative.

Sitting in the Square of Murfreesboro is an Amazing breakfast spot called Joanie's. I could tell by the number of people heading in to this place that it was going to be good! Head to the back of the restaurant to order. It was busy so we got a table first looked at the menu then I went up to order. After you order they give you not a number but a table sign, mine was Maverick from Top Gun! Yea, I was wearing my Aviator's that morning! Wow, the coffee/espresso menu, that was a hard decision, so many to choose from. I got the Tenacious Toffee, bam... so good. My wife got the Almond Brother, another good one! Sooooo many more I want to try! On to breakfast, I got the Count Monte Cristo, amazing! French Toast with Smoked Ham and melted Swiss cheese with a side of strawberry jam to dip in! It was amazing! Also, got the That's My Jam, toasted sourdough topped with strawberry jam, strawberries and bananas! The service was great!

Sunday afternoon, 3 people, menu choices look great, busy, staff screaming across the restaurant ( more on that later) Grab a menu, at front, walk thru the long restaurant to service counter on back, place order (get presented with a tip request), get a placquard..try to find a seat then the screaming starts. You are expected to get your drinks, silverware napkins etc. The problem. Is the high ceilings , lots of customers..one cannot hear...yep... more screaming. Anyone who cares about basic cleanliness on the front end which puts the kitchen in question...just stop here and find somewhere else. If you only care about the food and NOTHING else...you will like it. I didn't like sticking to my seat, the sticky dirty table, my sandals sticking to the floor, the additional fork and knife I needed to get, the lack of cleaning....this place screams health inspector visit STAT. I am a good tipper..20-25% for good service. But what really ticked me off was the pre-order tipping. Never again, especially for the decided self-service, lack of service.

They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!

We ordered a bottle of wine (delicious), and noticed some guests bringing their own, though I'm not sure about corkage fees. We started with the smoked pork croquettes, which were outstanding and ended up being the highlight of the meal. For entrées, we tried the lamb, braised beef, halibut, duck tacos, and mushroom ravioli. Everything was served promptly, and overall the food was very good, though there's room for small improvements. The braised beef came highly recommended but didn't stand out in flavor or texture. The lamb, cooked medium rare, was excellent. The ravioli was rich and tasty, though the cream sauce slightly overpowered the dish. The halibut was well prepared, but the potato leek cream truly stole the show. As we were leaving, the staff surprised us with a serving of strawberry ice cream for the birthday guest; a sweet and memorable gesture that capped off the evening nicely. Overall, a great experience with attentive service and a few standout dishes.
