Have brought a few cars here for various reasons - without a doubt the best place around - service, value, honesty! Son brought a Maxima in couple years ago with bumper damage - looked great and at less than half the cost of any other. Had damage to front bumper on my 15 Durango - competitors wanted $800-1200 for repair. Bumpus had me come in on a Thursday morning for their adhoc work - guy had it for 20 min, buffed out the problem, touch up painted smaller deep spot - charged me nothing. I was in awe - gave him everything in my wallet for a tip - only cost me $61! Daughter had damage on her Kia Soul bumper - others wanted $500-1200 to repair. Again, brought it in for their adhoc service - cost nothing and looked like new. Would not accept a tip. BMW X5 had minor dent in tailgate - they had paintless dent repair guy come by and tackle it - $125 and couple hours later was perfect! Yes - these were mostly minor cosmetic issues - but they could have blown them up like their competitors, charged lots of money, and had the cars for many days. They instead were completely honest, gave recommendation, did great work, saved us lots of money - and earned loyal customers. Great honest people. I'd recommend them before anywhere else! read more

Bumpus Body Shop is the only place I will ever trust with my car! I was in an overcrowded parking lot trying to park with a car right behind me. I found a spot, but the person beside me parked oddly so I had to pull up farther than usual to ensure the person wouldn't hit my car once they left. Unfortunately for me I hit the sidewalk underneath my car and didn't notice until later. I thought something was wrong on the inside of my car because of a piece dragging on the road. I am a very busy person so the last thing I needed was to have to get my car fixed. I went to Bumpus and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly staff. They immediately took my car in and got it fixed. I only waited for about 20 minutes! As I sat there I watched as the staff helped other customers and was impressed with their kindness and great customer service. Our 9 month old Chyrsler Pacifica was rear-ended. State Farm gave us a choice of repair shops. We are fairly new to the area and didnt know who to go to. We chose Bumpus Body Shop because online reviews were mostly positive. Ben and Cathy are great people to work with, they coordinated with our insurance for a rental car of a size convenient for us, and for all repairs. Cathy estimated 4 days to complete the work, and we were advised of the progress each day along the way. The work was COMPLETED ON TIME and, if I had not known the bumper and hatch were replaced, I could not tell they were not the original bumper and hatch. The car was clean when we picked it up. I have been to this body shop several times and dealt with Ben over the past 15 years. I have always been pleased with the service and quality of work. Yesterday I went in to get an estimate to repair my bumper where it had been hit in a parking lot. Ben looked at and said he could fill in the missing paint and buff it out. And he would do it AT NO CHARGE. He said it wouldn't be perfect but esthetically it should be fine. I said yes, since this was coming out of my pocket. He had it done in 3 hours!
