This is the only place I go, the salon is very nice, relaxing environment! They wait on you as soon as you walk in the door! They are usually busy, so that tells me lots of other people are realizing this is a great salon! The owner, Jenny works 7 days a week and is on top of everything, sometimes not the most personable but greets you when you walk in and runs a good business. We just moved to the area a few weeks ago and I was worried about finding a new nail salon that I was comfortable with for my gel mani/pedis. I was referred here by a neighbor and was not disappointed! Jenny was amazing and made sure to understand just how I liked my nails. A young man did my pedicure (I think his name was Sean?) He was professional and kept a conversation going the whole time. They both were very thorough and even gave the best massages I've ever had at a nail salon. I usually feel like I'm just "at a nail salon", which isn't a problem, but here the atmosphere is great and they really make you feel pampered. Definitely a step above any nail salon I've ever been to. A little on the pricier end, but totally worth it in my opinion. Especially if my polish lasts for a while. Visiting the kids in Austin - took the girls for a relaxing afternoon. We walked in without appointments and had no problem getting right in. they were very gracious and welcoming. All 3 of us agreed this was the nicest pedicure we'd ever had...and we've had plenty! Jenny and her staff are very friendly, very professional, and make for a wonderful experience. We all highly recommend it. We all had the Raw Earth pedicure - amazing massage, hot rocks, etc., etc., etc. Jenny, herself, is very sweet, very accommodating; I so enjoyed speaking with her. Compared to California prices - this was an exceptional deal. One of my daughters had her eyebrows done, too - nice job! Here is my previous review: I won't go anywhere else but 'Joe's Nails' for my Shellac nails or pedicures! After trying multiple salons & being disappointed every time with chipped & cracked polish after just one week - I was referred to Jenny @ Joe's Nails & couldn't be happier!! Jenny is the owner of the salon & is amazing! She does a superb job on my nails every single time. My polish lasts for 2+ weeks & looks beautiful. If I break a nail doing something unusual like spreading 52 bags of mulch (LOL) - Jenny gladly fixes the problem for me. During each appointment - she visits with me & continually makes sure I am satisfied with her work. I've been to other salons where I felt like an "imposition" or "outsider" as the employees constantly talked to each other while working on my fill/manicure/pedicure. This isn't the case @ Joe's Nails. Their work ethic is wonderful! This is a family business & you can truly see the care, concern & commitment the staff has for their customers. I personally HATE pedicures with a capital "H". It doesn't matter who does them...just not my thing @ all. I know my feet desperately need them so when I had my first pedicure @ Joe's, I explained my situation & they completely understood. They help me "work through" the pedicure and treat my crazy feet with "kid gloves". They giggle WITH me as I jump & cringe in my chair. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants quality and and a good price. They are kind and do a good job. I recently moved into the area and was looking for someone who could do as good of a job with solar nails as they place i use to go to outside of Houston. The downside is they have only one lady who does solar nails but she does a good job. It does take over an hour for her to finish the nails end up being thick. I go back every two weeks but they could last much longer then that. They always have time to take you as i have never made an appointment and they always get me right in. Their pedicures are also amazing. They take the time to give you a good massage and if you get the deluxe pedicure they give you a warm rice bag on your shoulders as well as hot stones, an exfoliating scrub and a mint lotion rub. It is well worth the money. I love that they want you to enjoy the manicure and pedicure as much as you can so they do them separately instead of together. I'm beyond angry because they refuse to listen and just did whatever they wanted to do on my 14 yr old daughter....I did nails myself and know what I'm asking for. We went in just wanting tips with a gel overlay...which I do to myself regularly....they proceeded to do tips, acrylic AND freaking gel...we did not want acrylic at all! This place is wonderful! From the time you walk in, to the time you walk out, everyone is so nice and makes sure you are happy and comfortable. I had Sean who did my manicure and he paid attention to every little detail. I also brought my husband here and he absolutely loves his pedicure. The music is nice and calming and it's very cute inside. Also, a huge plus is that they don't have the phones on loud and the technician doing your mani/pedi isn't on the phone scheduling appointments. They were able to see me at the end of the day. Great place, very clean. However, I requested a French tip manicure and reminded them of what I wanted 3 times but at the end they did not understand what I asked for and give me a regular gellish manicure. It still looks great but I was a little annoyed that I didn't get exactly what I had come for. On the plus side they were very meticulous and detailed oriented, so I was still happy. My family went here to get our nails done today, and it was absolutely wonderful! The employees were so kind and the atmosphere is very calm. The way the spa is set up makes me feel like i am somewhere super luxurious even though it isn't super expensive! At most other places, when we get an appointment for 5 people, we are started in 15 minute increments, but at Joe Nails, we all got to chat together and it was so awesome! My best friend & I needed our nails done before we went on vacation and we wanted to try the dip SNS nails. At first I wasn't a fan because of how thick the lady made them but realized afterwards that you can ask for thinner nails. They made me feel like I had fake nails, but without the damage of fake nails. They had SO MANY colors it was hard to chose just one. The place was clean & they offer you wine & they have snacks out where you dry your nails/the waiting area. It was $40 for just my nails, but if you sign up for their mailing list they send you promotions. Just had my first pedicure here. I'll keep coming back. The nail equipment is sterilized and they give you the kit to keep when they're done. The music is relaxing. This is the cleanest and most aesthetically pleasing place i've been to. The nail colors are nicely organized with beautiful color selection. Totally worth $28! Decided I wanted a full set of acrylic nails for the first time since I have lived in Texas. None of my friends have acrylics so I didn't have anybody to ask for a recommendation of a place to go. I called at 10am and was able to make an appointment for noon. They took me right on time. Jenny did my nails and she was super sweet. She was very meticulous with my nails and wanted to make sure they were exactly how I like them (thickness, shape, length). they turned out great and are the best lookking brand new set I have ever had. They talked me into a pedicure too (didn't take much convincing) and I was hesitant because I had a hair appointment right afterwards. I told them what time I needed to leave by and they made sure I got out on time without my feeling rushed or short-changed. All in all I was VERY pleased with this place. After talking to Jenny it appears to be family owned with both parents and their 3 daughters working there. Everybody was very polite and friendly. I have found that Joe's Nails, especially Jenny, have been the best at the shellac process. I have been searching for over a year and have tried numerous places to no avail. The finished product looks great and lasts a bit longer than the other places. Prices are slightly cheaper too. I have used their "walk-ins welcome" policy, but truly it is better to make an appt.
