Stopped by this cozy spot in downtown Hatboro for a Friday evening dinner with the family, and we left full and happy. I ordered a personal pizza with broccoli and spinach--though it was accidentally made into a white pizza, the staff was happy to bring some sauce on the side, which ended up working out perfectly. The crust was remarkable--crispy with just the right chew--and the sauce paired wonderfully with the cheese and veggies. My two older boys got the so-called "bucket of spaghetti," which, to their mild dismay, was not served in an actual bucket. (They had hopes.) Still, they devoured it and gave it two saucy thumbs up. My wife had the veggie Parmesan and found it flavorful and satisfying. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout, which added to the positive experience. The dining area is on the smaller side, so I wouldn't recommend it for large groups unless you call ahead. The only real downside is parking--being downtown, it's mostly street parking, which could be a hassle during peak times. That said, the food more than makes up for the minor inconveniences. Definitely worth a second visit next time we're in town! read more

Your pizza is not the same anymore. It tastes different, with an under taste I can't make out what it is. Also, the lettuce on your hoagies are rotten for the most part. I don't know if you have a new cook, but nothing is cooked the same the was it used to be. Very disappointed. read more

I order a pizza here last night with pepperoni the pizza has been good over the last 3 years but I noticed a couple of things my pizza undercarriage tasted like someone is mopping the oven at the end of the night with a dirty mop and you can taste it in every bite I guess the owner doesn't give a damn those ovens are supposed to be cleaned with baking soda and scrubbed out and rinsed of course they will deny this also they don't cook the pepproni they throw it on the last second so when you eat it it's raw not cooked it's a shame! read more

Deb opened early for us. Thank you Deb! The cheesesteak was standard pizza shop cheesesteak. The meat was seasoned nicely. The fried onions and mushrooms spent time on the grill getting to know each other. The cheese was the weak link. It needed a couple slices more and a better cheese melt. Joe's is known for their sauce on top pizza. If you ask, they will put the sauce on the bottom. Thank you to everyone that got up early and made this a great morning. read more

Was recently at Joe's. The pizza is still delicious, but the interior of the pizzeria really needs an update! If I were to walk in for the first time today, I'd walk right back out...It looks like a dump! Stained and leaking ceilings, dirty floors, unwelcoming paint color. I have gone to Joe's exclusively for over 2 decades. I ordered 2 pies last Friday night. The first one was perfect but the second one was over cooked and tasted burned and nobody would eat it. It was late and they were closed. The next day I was out of town. Sunday, I brought the pizza into the shop and asked for a replacement or refund. The "manager" told me they could do nothing because it was 2 days. I told him that I would never be back and he said "that is fine"! Hatboro has a lot of pizza places so for such a common food, it can be hard to decide where to go. Joe's is on the top of my pizza list. Their pizza reminds me of a better version of Grotto's pizza. The cheese is on the bottom and the sauce is swirled on the top. If you like a super saucy pie, this might not be the place for you, but for me, the sauce on top makes it a perfect compliment to the delicious cheese and the perfectly cooked crust. The place itself isn't much to look at, so I'd recommend taking advantage of the ample parking in the area and getting your pizza to go. The only other knock against this place is that they don't have online ordering right now so my millenial self is forced to actually call and talk to a human being when I want to order pizza. The pizza I got from here just really didn't do it for me. I had gotten a Buffalo Chicken Steak Pizza along with a Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza. To me they somehow tasted great and bad at the same time, but I can't exactly put my finger on what it is that I wasn't liking. The pizza had no flop which is nice to see, but it was definitely a little on the darker side in some spots which wasn't desirable. Would I eat the pizza from this restaurant if it was given to me? Sure. It's not terrible. But what would I go out of my way to order from here again? Probably not. read more

Our new favorite!!! Pet friendly, and the food it's just awesome. They customized my order and it was probably the best thing I've eaten in a very long time. The pizza was so good, the kids loved it and the cheesesteak was awesome too. I had grilled chicken with mozzarella and sauce. I included a picture! It was so pretty too! Pizza recipe seems to have changed. Used to be our favorite but last 2 times have been disappointing.

Joes has been a staple in our family for many years. There was awhile that we would go every Friday. It still is in our rotation for Friday's and I always love when we go there because not only is there pizza - amazing - seriously it has a different flavor that's unique from all the other generic pizza places, but they also have a lot of other great food options. My favorite is the eggplant Parmesan! They pack so much food into one takeout container that will give you at minimum two meal, plus they give you bread on the side. The staff here is also nice and over the years I've gotten to know the owners who are so sweet. It's a family business that I'll continue to support because they never disappoint with their food. read more

My husband and I ate at Joe's pizza for the first time and we were really happy with our order. I got a peperoni slice of pizza and my husband had a cheesesteak hoagie. My husband said his sandwich was tasteful and the bread was fresh and so was the produce. The cheese on my pizza was exceptionally good and so was the peperoni. I have never had a bad experience with joe's pizza. Very consistent product. I pretty much just get pizza delivery from here and the other standard fare. Regular pie tastes pretty good and is a decent price, they have some specialty pies too. I do command them for their delivery time, even on weekends usually less than half hour til arrival. read more

I had an appointment across the street and they were running late and I was starving. I noticed Joe's and decided to see if they sold by the slice, which they do. I got a nice big slice of piping hot pepperoni pizza with a sprinkling of garlic and oregano. I was so hungry that I was eating it on my way out the door, burned my mouth it was so hot, but totally delicious, plenty of pepperoni to cover every inch, lots of good cheese and I loved the sauce and my fave baby, thin crust. The only thing I was disappointed in was, their daily special was two slices of pepperoni pizza and a soda for a few more cents and no one informed me, I saw it on a table tent, walking out the door. I really wanted to like the pizza here. 4.5 stars on Yelp is a godsend, and the pictures looked great, so I was very excited. This place was hustling and bustling when I came in on a Friday night. Small dine-in area was filled, phone was ringing constantly, cooks in the background busy. The counter girls were very friendly, had smiles on their faces, and were patient as I ordered. So far, a five star experience. Got my pizza in good time and proceeded home. For me, the pizza left much to be desired. I found the pizza a little light on cheese, and the dough was a little dry, almost like a wheat pizza texture. And the crust was big, which means the cheese and sauce didn't go far enough to the edge. It looked pretty, but didn't wow me as expected. Ingredients seemed fresh; there just wasn't enough of it... Outside of the pizza, everything was great - price, service, location. But pizza is a key element for me.... So the hunt for good local pizza in the Willow Grove area continues. read more

I stopped in for lunch this week after a 10+ year hiatus from going to Joe's. My wife grew up in the area and we used to get take out from there a lot when she still lived at home. I am working in the area now so I decided to stop in for a couple of slices and a coke (disappointed to see they had fountain Pepsi - that should only be the case at Pizza Hut). First, the restaurant was a mess at 12:30PM on a weekday. There were dirty tables, newspapers strewn about and workers sitting in seats in front of the counter. Right off the bat the place needs a good cleaning and an update. I ordered a couple of slices and the pizza was not great. It had been sitting out for a while and wasn't warmed up all that well. I am usually a pizza monster and I didn't finish 2 slices. Needless to say, I will keep the memories but I won't be returning. read more

Ordered yesterday for delivery. The cheese steak was stringy and grisly. The fries were soggy and wet. The pizza was barely done, it was like eating a pizza that was cold and congealed. Absolutely disgusting. Never will order again. You cant get a decent meal from any of these pizza places around her let alone a decent pizza. It all went in the garbage, $25 down the drain. But, this past week, and 2 weeks ago, I was there on a Friday afternoon and neither the cashier, or the delivery guy standing there waiting for orders, were wearing masks. As I went to Hatboro for some bakery goodies I was recommended to Joe's Pizza for a quick bit to eat~ glad I was! I ordered an Italian Hoagie special, it came with chips and a drink for like $5, great price! The bread was good, nice Italian Roll. The meat and cheese were fresh, the onion were thinnly sliced (which btw is a MUST for onions on my sandwich and I will NOT eat them if thick or chucks!), the tomato was ripe and it all worked good together, tasted great! I got some O/V and mayo on it and it truly was good! They had several kinds of Potato Chips to choose from and the soda was a fountain type. This Pizza is pretty good, we order it whenever we have a party and our family really likes it. It is heavy on garlic though, so for the regular repetitive pizza like 2 times a month it's a little much for me. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe for the sauce - you'll love it if you love garlic and give it five stars - just don't order before you go out and meet anyone. read more

Joe's is great pizza. They use a different technique of putting the sauce over the cheese to make their pizza stand out. The prices are cheap and you get a lot for what you pay for. Everything is made fresh too as you wait. The dining area is a bit small, but I think they do more delivery/take out than eat in. I'd recommend the Hawaiian pizza, it's awesome. read more

Joe's has been my go to pizza for years. I love the flavor of their pizza and their thinner crust. It is not overly doughy and soft. The wings are decent, but if you like crispy, make sure you ask for "well-done". I also love their Caesar salad. Cheese steaks are not out of this world, but I still get them on occasion. I prefer their chicken to their steak. They deliver within 30-45 mins on a usual Friday night. 15-20 if you are picking up. read more
