    Cheesesteak Pizza

One of the best pizza places around! Longhitano's is a small restaurant that has seating, and good service for dining in. They also have a huge take out business. They may not have as many pizza choices or specialty pizzas as other places but you don't need them. Longhitano's is one of our all time favorites.

The first bite of my pizza took me back to my childhood when I frequently dined here , it was amazing! I grew up near this place and it was my parent's favorite fifty years ago! I have been driving by wondering if it was as good as I remember literally 50 years ago! I knew good food at a young age , my grandfather owned a restaurant in center city and we dined at the best restaurants every weekend. I was talking to someone recently and he told me Longhitanos is his number 1 ... it's now my number 1 ! This pizza is amazing and anyone that states a different opinion knows nothing about pizza. It had a super thin crispy crust , the cheese is unique and they say it is blended with cheddar... it is delicious and I would not get able the guess cheddar is the magic cheese. It's obviously a delicious creamy, mild cheddar and not the orange stuff you automatically think of when you hear " cheddar ". The sauce is also perfect and I live the Trenton style with the sauce on top , it works perfectly. It's definitely not a romantic place, it's a pizza shop but I can't wait to try some other options! It's now my favorite pizza and I am mad I haven't been enjoying it for decades!

Based on some of the recent negative reviews, I almost didn't go back, and that would have been a BIG MISTAKE. I started eating pizza at Longhitano's in 196,5, the first location and followed them to the second location. Filling the place after swim meets and for All You Can Eat pizza as a teen. {I've eaten a lot of their piza}. Having lived out of state most of my adult life and being a HUGE pizza junk,y I wanted to go back while in town visiting my brother and sister. My brother and sister-in-law arrived a little before my sister and I and already had drinks and menus. The young server greeted us and got up drinks. My sister ordered a Dinner Salad ($4.25) and a Cheesesteak ($6.75) with fried onions (.75), the salad was a good size with some red onions, tomatoe, and olives. Her cheesesteak had plenty of meat, well-cooked onion, and the roll was exactly the way it should be. My sister-in-law went with a Small 9" Cheese Pizza ($7.20), and my brother and I shared a Lage 16" Cheese Pizza ($11.50). The pizza was perfection, the dough had some bite to it, the bottom was nicely browned and crisp all the way to the center, the edge was perfectly blistered. The tomato sauce swirl was well balanced and not too sweet, and there was a lot of cheese without being greasy. It brought back incredible childhood memories and reminded me of what great pizza should be like.

They have a pizza special two large cheese pizzas for 12.75 on Mon thru Wed. Pretty sweet deal. The pizza came out bubbling, hot and fresh and was delicious. The pizza wasn't soggy and didn't fold when you lift it up! It was very crunchy and had bubbles on the crust- just the way I like it! Small little spot, so call ahead if you have a large party! The staff was very friendly, and the service was speedy! Also, try the cheesesteaks, they are packed with meat and have a lot of flavors. The parking lot isn't very big either, so try to come at a decent hour, or you'll have to find street parking on the block over! I have been here a few times with family and will be coming back due to the service and the food.

It reminds me of the good ol' days when businesses/business owners knew the names of their customers. They know their customers' names! On Sunday, I was leading out a meeting in the gymnasium at Huntingdon Valley Christian Academy and needed to provide lunch. I let New Village know ahead of time the big order we would need and once again they delivered. We picked up 10 hot, delicious, and fresh giant pizzas for our gathering and before I knew it there were a few slices left of the plain, a few more of the pineapple, but only one of the tomato pie! The people loved their lunch from New Village AND although of the10 pies ordered, 3 were (garden) vegetable, not one slice was left and people were upset that they didn't get any and that I didn't order more vegetable pizzas :) Many were amazed at how fresh and plump the vegetables were! The group got to taste firsthand what I believe, and that is New Village Pizza is the best in town!

I saw reviews for New Village Pizza and Grill and I said to myself there is no way that the pizza is this good. Of course, I had to find out for myself and see if those 4.7 stars was legit instead of living vicariously through the Yelp reviews and pictures. Ordering is pretty easy through their site and I went with a small mushroom, pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese pie along with some wings. Ok, the reviews were correct. The pizza was very good. Pizza is subjective and different flavors are preferred all over, but I think this will hit the spot for any pizza lovers. It was a nice buttery crust but not greasy and so glad there was an even amount of ingredients. At times you get way more of one ingredient than the rest and there is just an imbalance in the flavor like they have an overstock of one ingredient they need to get rid of. The wings were ok but wish they had a bit more kick in the buffalo sauce. When looking at the menu this place has it all. When I say all, I am talking about burgers, grinders (hoagies), pasta, seafood, quesadillas, chicken sandwiches, gyros, and I am sure if you ask for something not on the menu they can hook it up for you. If in the area again I will be partaking on another trip and stopping there again. A solid four stars.

I ordered the Mr…read more Cooper Cheesesteak and mozzarella sticks, and the cheesesteak was honestly one of the best I've ever had. The quality, flavor, freshness, and portion size were all outstanding. I believe this is a family-owned restaurant, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The staff is always respectful, friendly, and professional. Even when they're busy, they do a great job getting orders out in a reasonable amount of time. My pickup order included mozzarella sticks, pasta, and two cheesesteaks, and it was ready in about 30 minutes, which I thought was completely appropriate for the size of the order. The restaurant itself is a cozy local spot that is very clean and well maintained. The prices are more than fair considering how fresh the food is, the quality of the ingredients, and the generous portions. I've also tried their pizza, and it's fantastic as well. Fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. The only minor downside is that the parking lot can be a little tight, but that's certainly not the restaurant's fault. I would come back here all the time, and I honestly don't know why more people in Bucks County aren't talking about this place. If you're looking for a great cheesesteak, pizza, or just quality food from people who care about what they serve, Mama Russo's is absolutely worth a visit.

After some internal hemming and hawing and putting me on hold multiple times, this chick didn't mute me fast enough and had said to her coworker, "I don't know why she is calling about this on a Friday night." 1. I thought they were still closed for summer hours 2. There's this thing called "work" I have... I am most certain she has heard of this I didn't think much at first and thought she had misheard me. When I later clarified it is for tomorrow's, she still refused to take my order for ONE 1/2 tray of raviolis. She told me to call back at 8/9 pm because she's busy and has other orders. Then why did you pick up???? Why did you think I was calling???? I am confused. It took more time for her to talk **** than it would for to take the order. I tracked this call vs my next call to somewhere else. This would also be less than 24 hours and while they are about to close... which she will be thrilled about. If you're going to talk **** at least have it make sense, but regardless, this is by far one of the most unprofessional encounters I have had. We go frequently too, but true colors eventually get revealed. Thank you for your service. It was fun while it lasted.

They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

We sat in the room adjacent to the takeout area which had plenty of tables and booths. In my humble opinion the bathroom and the room we ate in could use some fresh paint on the walls and better lighting. They must not entertain often because we were the only people in there besides a couple. The staff was nice and very busy juggling phone orders while helping us. We put in an order for buffalo wings, a small tomato pie and a chicken caesar wrap. The food came out pretty quick. The wrap was simple and nothing special as well as the fries that came with it. The wings were medium sized, appeared to have been freezer burned (dark spots), and were ok. The hot sauce was cut with butter and tasty. On to the Tomato pie, if you like your pie with chunks of San Marzano's and on the sweeter side you'll love it. The crust was typical for the style - not too thin or thick, crispy and the slices were almost as straight as an arrow. Cheese was minimal and I didn't detect much in the way of extras like garlic or oil. Overall, the pie was pretty simple with chunked and pureed San Marzano's, cheese and crust. My son devoured half of it and approved. I'm giving them 4 stars/great based on the tomato pie. The rest of the food experience and ambiance was just ok. Their menu has a lot of items to explore like pasta dishes, sandwiches and their regular pizza so another trip may happen when I'm in the area again. The staff was friendly and that's always appreciated. Thanks guys!
