This guy is a completer fraud. I agreed to pay the 1k for washes in advance and paid for a different service during the course of my advance wash purchases. He then took my card and charged additional 1k for washes in advance. When I asked about the transaction he assured me that it would be refunded. A few weeks go by and no refund. WARNING do not book an appointment with this fraud of a detailer!!! I booked an appointment last Friday, May 9th for interior and exterior. I asked for the earliest appointment he had available, and he said 8:30am. I took the day off from work and thought I would leave my car with him. My intent was to walk to Yours Truly for breakfast and chill until my car was cleaned. I called him that morning to tell him I was on my way, and he said he would be there at 9:30am. He, said he thought was dropping my car off, which was never discussed. It was a great MESS!! I should have cancelled then, but no I thought he would a good job like the last time. Anyway, I go through with appointment and boy was I ROBBED! When I picked up my car, the garage had dim lighting, which I didn't notice at the time, but when I go in the light, the inside of my car was Not DETAILED at all!! The morale of this story, Stay Away, unless you want to give your money to a LIAR, a THIEF, and SCAM ARTIST!!! I'm currently in the middle of a credit charge dispute with Joel. I went for a detail in June, and the work was fine. When I paid by credit card, he swiped it twice, claiming the initial transaction didn't go through. One month later I was recharged (over $1000). We have a continuous text thread where he promises to make it right, but never does. Finally I filed a dispute. I lost the dispute because he apparently uploaded a fake invoice. He'll tell me the bank never reaches out, but the bank states he's fully disputing it as well. I'm now disputing the dispute, and escalating this to the law. Wish me luck, and in the meantime don't hand this business any of your plastic. read more

This man is a compulsive liar, everything he says is a lie. I took my car over to him to have the interior cleaned and thought if he dis a nice job I'd take my wife's car over next. We'll for 8 days he did nothing but lie and make excuses. I dropped car off on Sunday and the very next day he called asking for another day, I had no problem with this as long as it was being worked on. The next day the claim was equipment failure, this excuse lasted 3 days but then suddenly the equipment was fixed and ready and I was "first in line" and was going to get an "upgraded" package for my troubles. I agreed and the very next day he called again stating the interior of the car was wet and needed to dry so it wouldn't get moldy. I was agitated but agreed. This turned out to be a total lie as the car was never touched. The final straw was him calling and claiming the power was out and my car was stuck in the bay with no way to open the door. This was beyond what I was willing to accept and I began explaining that I would be by to pick up the car and that he had better figure it out. He again offered to do more work but I refused and low and behold the car was sitting outside when I arrived....the door must have worked after all. Joel had told me he would issue a refund and leave me a gift certificate for a free cleaning. I am still waiting on this refund even thou he says hes a man of his word. The car was in the exact position I had left it 8 day prior and had not been touched or moved so it was all a lie....every last bit of it. Some things to know are that Joel has no credit card processing and will ask for payment with Zelle, do not pay Joel upfront as he will likely not do the work and you will be leaving a bad review like me. Joel has an "F" rating with the BBB and his accreditation has been revoked because he has not answered for the complaints filed against him. I have filed another claim but hold out little hope he will answer this one either. I have also filed a claim with the Ohio Attorney General Consumer Protection division and my case number is CDA63574. If your experience with Joel was the same as mine I would encourage you to do the same and reference this case number so he gets credit for all his hard work. Joel always claims to want to "make it right" but never does. The right thing to do here is to refund the money you took and stop lying to people. Joel will always fall back on offering to so more than what he was originally hired for but never seems to be able to finish the original task. This is a tactic he has used on several people, make sure you look at his reviews on Yelp. Finally I would not recommend doing business with Joel but if you do please be cautious as this is a shady individual. read more

I purchased an expensive car wash package from them, but for months, every time I tried to schedule mobile detailing, the owner, Joel, came up with excuses, made promises and forgot them. Eventually, I filed a complaint with the BBB. Joel declined to respond to them; I instead received a phone call in which he wallowed in self-pity about how hard things were after he fired his entire staff. Along with that, Joel said that a refund was an option, although when I've followed up, he always has another excuse. I'm giving up and writing off the entire episode as a hard lesson learned, but please learn from my mistake and do NOT give this company a dime. read more

Just read other reviews and you will see that mine is the same. I prepaid for a package and Joel makes excuse after excuse for why he can't show up. He begged me for the money upfront so he could handle some personal issues so I, regretfully, paid him. I should have known that this would happen since he was so unreliable on the first package I did. When the prior review says that "he is unreasonable when confronted" that is absolutely true. He will try and turn it around and blame you, the customer. And when the next review talks about a text thread where he "promises to make it right", that one is again true as he did the same with me. No one has to believe me but I am happy to share with anyone. He is nothing but excuses, excuses, excuses and I am shocked that he is even still in business the way he works. After my car spending nearly 5 months in Florida with the family, including grandchildren. Then returning to Cleveland and the families car needed repair so I let them borrow my car. You can only imagine how it was returned sand everywhere, debris everywhere. Rather than getting upset and worked up, I found Joel's mobile detailing at Eaton in Woodmere Village. I scheduled an appointment. Joel and his crew did an amazing job returning my car to me in like new condition. In a timely matter as promised.
