We finally popped in to try this place out.. We were not disappointed. You won't find an open grill and a performance but you will fine perfectly seasoned chicken and steak. Both the chicken and steak were seasoned perfectly. I surprised myself and thought the chicken was beyond well. They have a family takeout meal that we will be back to try soon. The restaurant itself was very clean. People came in our entire visit to pickup their orders. They stayed busy, it appeared most locals already knew to place their orders before coming in. "That Garlic Butter Sauce? OMG!" 02-04-26 This place came highly recommended by one of my students who works there. He bragged about the food and said it was so delicious and that I needed to try it. I'm glad I listened, because he was absolutely right. The food is amazing! And just to be clear, this isn't your typical hibachi spot where the chef puts on a whole show and flips food in the air. Joeone Hibachi Go is smaller, with a medium-sized dining room. You walk up to the counter, place your order, and the chef cooks everything in the back. I also appreciated that you can actually see the chefs through the square kitchen window; it's a nice touch and makes the place feel more open. Customer service was great. Sonia helped me and she was welcoming, friendly, and polite. The dining area was very clean and well-kept, so I chose to dine in. The ambiance was relaxing with dim lighting, and it was pleasantly quiet: no music and no TVs blaring. The only sounds were customers coming in and ordering, the chef's spatula clanging on the hibachi grill, and Sonia taking phone orders. Simple, calm, and comfortable. I ordered the Hibachi Shrimp Bowl, which comes with fried rice, vegetables, and one sauce of your choice. I went with the garlic butter sauce and ordered a yum yum sauce on the side just to taste test it. Y'all... both sauces were amazing, but the garlic butter sauce was my favorite. OMG. The garlic flavor was bold, buttery, and just right. The yum yum sauce had that tangy-sweet vibe, and it was a hit drizzled over the shrimp, veggies, and rice. Honestly, the bowl itself was already full of robust flavor and could stand alone without any sauce, but the sauces took it to another level enhancing the piquancy. Food Rating: Hibachi Shrimp Bowl -- 5/5 I paid $13.64 for the bowl. The portions look a little small at first, but the shrimp were a nice size and I did end up full. Overall, Joeone Hibachi Go is a unique spot serving delicious hibachi bowls and sauces so good they'll make you want to slap yo mama. I stopped by this fast casual restaurant for a quick bite while in the area. It's run by a guy named who else but Joe. They had lunch specials even on holidays. Unfortunately, they stopped having the tenderloin on the menu temporarily due to the rising cost of beef prices, but still have New York steak so I ordered that. I chose the spicy sauce which goes well with the meat. They also have a combo option for $3.50 more which comes with egg roll and a drink. The egg roll is pretty standard but good. This also comes with a type of sweet and sour sauce which is good as well. My bowl was alright, but a little on the pricy side for what you get. I can think of chipotle which is similar pricing but I feel you get more full there. Drinks basically come in the can only here, which I am also not a fan of since I drink a lot and usually get a few refills. Customer service was okay, not special by any means like some other reviews indicate. I guess that depends on who you end up interacting with. Overall, they do an excellent job duplicating a hibachi plate and the meat/beef quality is very good. I'm just not a fan of fried rice so it's not my typical dish i would usually even order but I wanted to try something new. If you have a small to medium appetite, I'd say this is a good spot to visit. read more

We were looking for a quick, light dinner and this place had been on my radar for quite awhile. I was amazed at all the choices and placed an order for two hibachi fried rice bowls with chicken and shrimp and one bowl with the whole hibachi deal, steak, shrimp, chicken and veggies with rice. The hibachi bowl was a good size, a little pricey but filling for my hubby. The meats were cooked just right and he added teriyaki sauce for an extra flair. I ate the fried rice bowl with shrimp and an eggroll. It was a good size and I had leftovers for the next day, reheated well. The eggroll was standard. My son had the other fried rice bowl and aside from the egg being slightly overcooked , he enjoyed it. We will go back as they are fast and we like the options. The fried rice bowls are priced pretty well. I will try some different sauces, I like mine a little spicy. They have plenty of seating and a loyalty program, which I love. read more

Went there today for the first time. They advertised a $10 lunch hibachi bowl, when I placed my order online it was $13+change, and I paid an additional $1 for the online order system. I also ordered eggrolls for an additional fee. When I picked up my order, I mentioned this to the girls at the front. They refunded the difference and took my eggrolls out of the bag, which I paid for. Came home, this is some of the dryest chicken ever! Thank goodness for the veggies, those are good. My son LOVES this place and I can absolutely see why. We preordered over the phone because we were in a slight rush to get somewhere and I figured it would take a bit so I was giving it 30 minutes and they had all of our food ready in less than 15 minutes! This was great and allowed us to sit and enjoy our meal. Service was welcoming and sweet. Love the refreshing cucumber and lemon water. Depending on what you get it can get slightly pricey. My son loves the hibachi chicken, white rice and broccoli. He's a growing boy so the 1 serving of chicken is never enough so he gets 2. Now I got the shrimp fried rice and spicy edamame. That edamame was fresh and crunchy but the shrimp fried rice was the star of the show. The price of that bowl is very reasonable considering it can give at least 2 even maybe 3 servings and the shrimp tasted fresh and were a decent size and they don't skimp. The flavors were popping and I'm so happy we were able to get to sit and enjoy it all. Since this is more of fast food style spot seating is limited but you really get in and out. read more

First time at JoeOne Hibachi. It came recommended and personal. Atmosphere was nice and staff was very welcoming. Ordered Gyoza, Combination Fried Rice and Hibachi Chicken. Gyoza was tasty and decent portion. Combination Fried Rice was a really good size amount. The Hibachi Chicken came with a lot of chicken and the taste was AMAZING without any sauces!! Added ginger sauce for an extra flavor which added another great flavor. We decided to order side of shrimp for the reviews I saw. I ordered from door dash so I have no pictures to show I really need to start taking pictures of my food items before indulging on take out or door dash delivery. I ordered the steak and shrimp combo with fried rice a side of noodles and two vegetable egg rolls. Both the Shrimp and steak were cooked to perfection and the rice was amazing, the flavor was there and the quantity of the food was superb I had enough to eat the next day. The noodles were also delicious as well as the egg rolls. The food was packaged nice and I received everything that I had ordered I truly appreciate that it's nothing worst than ordering something and not getting everything you've paid for. For starters the customer service here is 10/10! I ordered the JoeOnes special and let me tell you it was worth it for $25. EVERYTHING WAS FRESH! From the protein to the vegetables. It came with two sauces so I went with the yum yum and the spicy. Yum Yum sauce was packed with flavor and had a hit of sweetness to it and the spicy tasted like regular Tabasco sauce. Wow! This actually tastes like good hibachi. I stopped by for lunch and got a shrimp lunch bowl. I added a drink (can soda or bottled water) and egg roll to make it a combo for $3.50. Nothing special on the egg roll. The bowl had more than enough food and they didn't cheap out on the shrimp. Veggies and rice were delicious and I enjoyed the ginger sauce. Mostly zucchini with some mushrooms, carrots, onions and broccoli. I don't think it needed any additional seasoning, but many people can't help but douse any Asian food in soy sauce. I found everything flavorful and freshly prepared. Decent amount of seating in the counter service establishment - booths and tables. Cashier was polite too. Hibachi is OK. We've ordered multiple times. Rice is good, but the meal should include more veggies. The problem is the steak - it is always so tough. Shrimp is dry. Chicken is dry too. If they can get these proteins right, it would be great but it's a let down for now. And last, the yum-yum sauce: it's not good and tastes inauthentic. I was excited to try out this place based on reviews. Just not impressed. We tried steak, shrimp, and chicken. For the same price range you can go to other hibachi restaurants and get more (salad, soup) for your buck. My greatest disappointment was that both my daughter and I found bone in our chicken. I could waive off as a rare occurrence if it was just randomly found in one persons dish, but for both of us to find bone is a concern for how chicken is prepped/ chopped. Truly a hidden gem. I've become a regular at this place for quite some time now and they never miss. I drive all the way from Katy to come here because I love it! This family restaurant is clean and orderly. The yakisoba noodles were hot and flavorful with crunchy veggies and steak that had that wonderful seared color and flavor. The egg rolls were excellent and the pan fried gyoza were good, but a little underdone. Everything was very hot and fresh. Almost nothing here tastes like it came shipped in a bag. My daughter and I came on Thursday and we enjoyed our meals immensely. The way they are packaged seems like it would not be a lot of food, but surprisingly filling.
