Sorry, this is going to be long, but I want to make sure folks know the whole story. I actually debated whether I should write a review or not. But after being so humiliated, accused, and treated the way I was (mainly by the father), I decided to share my experience with this place. Don't get me wrong. The repairs I had done there were just fine--better than I expected, actually. They also cleaned the inside of my car, which pleasantly surprised me. When I went there to pick up my car, it had a new rear bumper and some work done on the left rear door. Brian, the son, was there, and I dealt with him. At the time, I honestly thought these guys seemed nice and trustworthy. Boy, was I wrong. When it came time to pay, I got some strange excuse about not using my credit card, which I thought was a bit odd. I'm only mentioning this because another reviewer here also mentioned having issues when trying to pay with a card. I told him I don't carry that much cash with me, but I could write a check. Of course, I don't carry a checkbook around. Who does these days? I was surprised he was okay with me driving home and coming back with a check. A mechanic letting you leave without paying first? Especially when it's your first time there? That was definitely new to me. Still, I figured that was pretty nice of him. He backed my car out of the garage, and I got in to leave. Since there is absolute chaos around that car wash and cars are parked everywhere, I was mainly focused on not hitting anything as I pulled out. I turned onto the street, and after a minute or two, I thought I wasn't seeing things correctly. There was a long crack across the top of my windshield. I immediately turned around and drove back to the shop. When I showed it to Brian, he instantly said they didn't do it. His first explanation was that maybe my windshield had been too dirty for me to notice the crack before. Sure. I had the car washed two days earlier. That excuse didn't work, and I KNOW there was no crack in my windshield. Also, if there had been a crack when I brought the car in for the estimate and later for the repair, why wouldn't I have mentioned it and asked about getting it fixed too? Or why didn't they point it out themselves to protect themselves in case something like this happened? I was very polite and calm during the whole discussion. I wasn't angry. I told him I understood that accidents happen, but we needed to figure out a solution. He wouldn't budge and kept insisting they didn't cause it. Then he started searching on his iPad for photos of my car. I believe they took photos, but I don't remember if they photographed the entire vehicle. He couldn't find any pictures of my car. Strange, because there were countless photos of other vehicles on the screen. I even suggested that maybe it had happened at the car wash next door since I noticed a receipt in my car. But then he claimed HE had cleaned the car himself. There went the first contradiction. Then he called his father, supposedly to see if he had photos of my car. Nope. I waited, and before long, the father showed up. He parked in a way that basically blocked me in and immediately started raising his voice, completely denying that this could have happened at their shop. I remained calm and tried to have a normal conversation, but he just kept going. Eventually, he offered to pay half of the windshield repair. I said no. With this answer, he got even louder. The entire time, I stayed polite and respectful. I simply wanted to have a reasonable discussion. They went into their office while I sat in my car for quite a while. During that time, I even looked up the cost of replacing the windshield myself. This whole situation stressed me out immensely. I hate conflict, especially with people who behave this way. Not once did they give me the benefit of the doubt. Instead, I felt like they were basically accusing me of making the whole thing up. No, I did not make this up. Being accused of something like that is incredibly offensive. read more

I unfortunately ran into a ditch and damaged a large portion of the front on my car and a lot of damage was done to the bottom of the car as well. My aunt told me to take my car to Danny and I would be taken car of, and she was completely right! I took my car in on a Friday, and Danny looked at it. He was very thorough in showing me everything that was damaged and what would need to be replaced and what would need to be repaired. I asked him to email me a copy of the estimate which he was happy to do so. I dropped my car off on the following Monday and it was ready on Thursday! When I went to pick up my car, Danny showed me the parts that he took out of my car and showed me how damaged they were! He also showed me a bunch of pictures that he took on his ipad before and after he repaired my car! My car is now running very smoothly and I am very happy that I took my car to him! I highly recommend Joe's Auto Body on Woodman, near Riverside. Danny was very responsive to what I needed which was some damage to the rear, drivers side on my Ford Escape. He did not try to sell me on any work that wasn't needed. I brought the car in on a Monday morning hoping to get it back late on the next day. To my surprise the car ready the following morning which was much earlier than I anticipated. Also, the quality of the work was excellent and I paid exactly what the estimate was. My fiancée and I just had our Honda repaired at Joe's. The shop replaced the front bumper, a headlight, and repaired part of the undercarriage for a very reasonable price. The shop was communicative and up front about the estimated cost & stuck to the estimate when it was time for the final pick up. Also, as a nice surprise, they vacuumed & cleaned out the inside of the car! That was a nice touch as we were not expecting that. This was the best mechanic I've ever been to in my life! Danny is such an honest kind person. He not only fixed the Civic's undercarriage but also washed the car next door and the interior was dusted / detailed / polished, all fluids were topped off, and the front fender that was scratched was mostly buffered out. All for a very reasonable price, there was no unnecessary up-charge and he didn't try to sell anything extra that the car didn't need. Also, the turnaround was around 24 hours, I am in disbelief. The car runs better than it did before the accident; I was so relieved and satisfied I was almost in tears upon picking the car up. In deciding on a body shop that will fix your car and leave you with a car that looks like it came straight out of the factory, Joe's Auto Body is the place to go. I brought in my 2007 Ford Mustang which sustained heavy body damage as you can see from the picture, and was worried that no body shop would be able to paint match the red color on my ford. I was definitely wrong. After Danny, the owner of Joe's Auto Body fixed it up for me, I could not tell the difference between the original paint and the repainted portion. See the pictures posted. Danny was very friendly in going through the steps and procedure of how he was going to fix my car, and gave me an estimate which he stuck to. He also threw in a detail after fixing the car! The body shop is conveniently located right next to the Fashion Square Car Wash (when you pull in to the car wash, the auto body shop is all the way on the lefthand corner). He is incredibly fair in his pricing and even adds extras if he sees you need a windshield wiper or cleaning your headlamps. I had a gash through my spoiler so I went looking around for an auto body shop around the area. I came across this body shop and gave them a call. I spoke with Danny and after seeing the gash he gave me a quote. He was honest about the pricing and told me it would cost double if I went to others and gave an accurate estimate for when I could pick up the spoiler. When I came back a few days later, he showed me the spoiler and it looked factory new. Danny is such a good guy, he told me what materials he used and only charged me the quoted price, no other hidden fees.
