He is always so welcoming and listens to your concerns about your car and what you think the issue is. This is the second vehicle I've brought to him and will continue to always come back! Second: I needed some very in depth work on my SUV, especially with it being 4x4 I worry about what needs to be done on it and the cost, Joe was able to look under the vehicle with me and show me what I needed done and what else we should check to make sure we get everything taken care of but if it didn't need to be done, we wouldn't do it but we should at least check it and I appreciate that! I took my car to the Mercedes dealer and was provided with a long list of things that it "needed". I then brought it to Joe, he inspected my car, told me some things on that list weren't necessary and pointed out the work that did need to be done. The dealer quoted me over the value of my car to fix it & Joe fixed it for a fraction of the cost originally quoted by the dealer. My car now rides very smooth (huge difference from how it felt before I took it to him) and feels reliable again. I am extremely satisfied and will definitely recommend Joe and his shop. I thought I had an issue with my car. I'd been driving with the check engine light on for weeks when my car died at a traffic light. I got the car towed to Joe's expecting an expensive repair only to find out I ran out of gas. No charge for the inspection, no charge for the gas. Whew. Now if I can pay better attention to the gas gauge. I had another mechanical issue with my car which turned out to be my fuel pump. I had my car towed in to Joe's late in the day. Joe called me the next morning with the news and the quote which was reasonable. I said it was OK and he had the repair completed by the end of the day. It's good to have a mechanic who is honest and fair and who won't jack you around with unnecessary repairs. I have a 1995 F150. I took it to Joes's. It was there for 2 days. When I picked it up he did not fix anything that was wrong. He did try, but could not do it. Did not charge me for what he tried to do & would not give a invoice of the things he tried to fix. NOT COOL. Yes he did not charge me, but he did work on my truck. read more

I was quoted at $275 for a simple oil change on a car that is one year old with 3,000 miles on it. I know I look young and I'm a girl, but this is my 7th car and even the dealerships don't charge that much. How do you even justify that? Are you putting gold in my car? Originally I left a tip because I never received a response when I asked for a quote. Today, 25 DAYS LATER, I finally got a response, so thanks I guess? I did say that I needed it done in 2 weeks but they didn't seem to acknowledge how ridiculously late the response is. Needless to say, I already got it done elsewhere for 1/4 of that price. I see the words "affordable" being thrown around and "customer service" described in the affirmative, but that could not be farther away from the truth. After reading other negative reviews, I realized how closely my experience aligns with those. There's a special place for people who rip others off and I'll just leave this at that. read more

I went to Joe's based on the reviews he already had. I have a 2005 Ford Ranger and it was making noises. I brought the truck in at 8am and they said they would call me in a couple of hours. It took a little longer because they wanted to be thorough. Turns out it was the suspension and Joe said that he could have it repaired by the end of the day, which he did at a very reasonable cost. I am so lucky to have Joe's Auto Center. I went there early today June 10, 2023 for oil change and check engine light to prepare it for smog. He took me home and when the car was ready he picked me up. Not only did he changed oil and the check engine light and other things but he went ahead to have it smog. His shop is not smog station but he went to a place to have it smog. And the prize I paid... very very reasonable. I love you Joe. I recommend him 1000%. read more

Last night my car wouldn't start and I was in a panic thinking about how I was going to find a mechanic on a Saturday. I did some research and saw how many people recommend Joe's, so I decided to call first thing in the morning and test my luck. I called bright and early before they even opened and Vera took my call, assuring me that they'd be able to take a look at it and to come on by. Well just a few hours later, the car was repaired and I was on my merry way, full of gratitude! The process could not have been any more seamless than it was. From the initial phone call, to the drop off, to the speedy repair, everything was a breeze. Did I mention how kind everyone was? I'd like to take a moment and review Joe's Auto Center. Yousef (Joe) provided great service. I had my Nissan Altima brought in and check the muffler/exhaust system to have it check. My first impression is as good as it gets as he did not charge me for the diagnostics since my car didn't get repaired. However, he offered multiple options where/how I can get my exhaust manifold fixed. He was extremely helpful and even showed me on my car what needed to be repaired. Thanks again Joe for the help. So I judge a mechanic based on how upfront they are and how honest they seem, and how warm they make me feel. I've been coming to Joe's Auto for many years. I love the service I get. Joe and his sons run a very honest and upfront auto shop. In the few years that I've been going, Joe has offered to bill me a month later when my car needed a lot of work done. Joe has lent me a computer device thingy over a weekend to help me pass my smog test. he has made recommendations but also listens and understands what my goals are with my car. We needed a local place for a pre-inspection purchase of a used truck. We found this place online and hoped for the best. When we got there, everyone was super nice and told us that it would take about 2 hours to work the inspection in (no appts taken for pre-inspections, first come first serve basis.) We walked across the street and had a bite to eat and came back to it nearly finished (about an hour twenty) and had some questions. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. When your car breaks down unexpectedly it is the most stressful thing, BUT, Joes Auto Center took care of me above and beyond. I had it towed to their shop at 1 in the morning and the same day he had diagnosed the problem, called me to let me know about it, fixed it and even had it washed for me! I went in to get a diagnostic test because my "check engine" light came on and I could not pass the dreaded "smog test".
