Been here several times in the past. It's a solid 2/3 dive bar. Someplace you hit after the place you meant to go to that night. So you know what you're getting yourself into. Was a bit pissed though tonight that Joe yelled at one of his girls for calling the cops on a drunk fuck. He should have been removed no doubt. Joes is my favorite late night bar in town. Joe is friendly and knows his regulars well. His bar tenders are awesome, friendly and make some mean drinks. I love a bar where they love their regulars. I've never once had a complaint drink, food or service wise. They treat you as a friend. Food is pretty tasty. Drinks are full and heavy. I recommend this place to anyone venturing out in the Riverside area. read more

Visited again in October 2012. Things got a little better and stayed the same. Same Karaoke Host problems. Tried to order food they told me the kitchen was closed then took orders from the table next to me and served them. Then I asked the bartender if I could order a pizza and have it delivered. She said no the kitchen was not closed. At that point the owner came out and apologized for the confusion took an order and corrected the problem with grace. They seem to be trying the Karaoke show was was just still having the same problems. 10 to fifteen minutes a singer to play a 3 minute song. When ever some energy was building up in the crowd the the slow turn over of the KJ would kill that energy. Locals seem to enjoy the place. I ratted it a little better because the way the owner handled the food problem. At least he cares to make it a little better. read more

Went there to get out and try this place. Bartender server and cook where so friendly and nice. Crowd was more vers. ages. Place was chill. Busty bar keep was working the room and is a super star. The sever was new and worked her lil but off. Cook came out to make sure food was good and correct. It's a nice lil place. Good great. Prices good. Fun night. read more

Visited twice but never stayed walked in only to find out there are about 6 to 8 lonely old dudes that look like they're hiding from their wives to find something younger. Looks like a cool little joint but never had the chance to actual lit hang out there. I say out with the old and in with the young and this place could be a banging bar. read more

I was visiting from out of state, and got here at about 11:20. One server, one bartender, on a Saturday night, over 30 people. I waited at the bar, my boyfriend waited at a table, and after 10 minutes of no acknowledgement, we left. Not really faulting the two staff, it's more of an owner/management issue. I'm sure it's a great local spot, but NOT for visitors, especially those who can't get here before the place fills up. Will not come back during future visits. read more

Karaoke nite with the famz and we chose Joe's bc it was closer to where most of us lived, first time to this place and we had an awesome time. Prices were very reasonable for drinks...Adios MFers were abt $8 and pitchers of beer was $10. Karaoke was fun, good crowd, awesome atmosphere, bathrooms were decent, and yes I along with our crowd of about 10 lol would go to Joe's on a Sat night again. read more

I love this place Sunny,Jesse, and Melissa are awesome. I have been going there for months, many times. Both my husband and I have enjoyed many fun times there together. I even brought my daughter and Mom here. All good times. However today I go in there and there's this new person I've never met, and I won't name names. that is not who I am. She is horrible she let's people walk out of Joe's completely drunk.The amount of alcohol she allows people to drink is why we have so many varieties fatalities.. Dropped in on this place last night. We usually like to go find local bars and see what they have going on. I gave this place 3 stars for a couple of reasons. The food was pretty good. It came out quickly, and was hot, with a lot of flavor. Kudos to the chef. The waitress who took our food order was friendly, and checked on us often. I would have given her 4 stars, except for what happened before she came over. We walked in and the 5 old guy regulars all turned on there stools and looked at us with a look that conveyed that we should not be here. The bartender completely ignored us, never said hi, or be right with you, or anything. She just was leaning on the bar in conversation with two regulars, and never even looked up. I say this to the management of Joes; if you don't want any new business well then you have the perfect bartender for that. If you do want new business then I would give your bartender a lesson in customer service. Although the food was good and the waitress was very friendly, I will not be recommending Joes, to anyone I know. Being ignored for 10 minutes until we moved from the bar to a table, is no way to attract new customers. read more

I love this place. Been going here for years. Karaoke on tuesday and Friday nights, excellent drink prices and an awesome bartender. I didn't like the waitress though. She was getting off shift and let me order a drink. Then when I gave her my card, she said I had to close it out because she was leaving in 10 minutes, and I had to reopen a tab with the bartender. That pissed me off because I felt like she was trying to squeak out a tip. Didn't get one from me,but the bartender sure did. You generally get a mixed crowd though. an elderly woman bartender was sooooo rude on Sunday, she straight turned off the Steeler Football game , just because we asked her if she can switch the small tv to the big screen , because nobody was watching that game on the big screen & she insisted that there was people watching it ( THE ELDERLY WERE NOT WATCHING IT) , the "regulars", "the elderlies" were egging her on, which half of them can barely hear what was going on....but they knew what was going on , we were standing around to see if she was really going to do it , we finally sat at the bar , and she told us to get out , we asked for Joe the owner because we know him , & we also go there to hang out , she told us that he was asleep that she wasnt going to call him ....so im leaving a bad review on HER (ELDER RUDE LADY) , not on the bar itself ...i hope Joe (owner) talks to her, or else he is going to be losing business cause of her rude a** read more
