Joe's Cafe is our go to place for breakfast. So quaint with a diner vibe. Love that Christmas decorations are up all year! Servers are great and upbeat... actually a fun place to go. The food never disappoints and they are no strangers to customized orders. Very professional Enjoy!

I was very surprised I hadn't written a review for this restaurant, since this wasn't the first time I've eaten here. A friend of ours recommended this place. Since we were in the area and decided to try this place. Not a bad choice. There was a very extensive menu and our server was very good. Our server recommended the beef barley soup that I had. It was a good choice. I had a difficult time deciding on what I wanted, lots to choose from, I went with the chicken cordon blue sandwich. It came with fries, a pickle and coleslaw. The coleslaw, bla, I hate coleslaw, so the didn't send out. The pickle was pathec and half sour, but it tasted good. The fries were incredible. I ordered them well done well and I did something I don't normally do, I ate them all. The chicken sandwich was very good, good bread, fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked peice of chicken. My wife had a chicken ceaser wrap. It was stuffed full with chicken and she said it was really good. This was a good choice and we will be back when we in the area.

Arrived a party of 2, and Helen said just sit on that side, motioning her hand, and gave no menus. Reggie was nice and brought us silverware and napkins. Angie, our server, asked what we want to drink and I asked if we can please see a menu, "oh no one gave you one, wow". Interior was really cute, menu prices good - food was nice. Angie was attentive. The minute Angie saw we were close to done we received our check, one chicken cesar and one Californian breakfast (37$ + 5$ tip). But overall the environment was not inviting and the continued dismissive attitude from some of the staff was very off putting. Might be the area but it wasn't as welcoming as other restaurants. A cute diner if you're a local maybe but as a visitor it didn't feel as welcoming.

The food was fine at this old school diner, servers were very nice but it took forever to get seated and also took a long time for someone to take my order. Aside from that the food was descent and the prices were fair. The restaurant was clean and is inside a strip mall.

First time coming here and I will definitely be back around when I'm in town. My server Amber was so sweet & friendly!! It's always the customer service that draws me back. The food is also 10/10 for me

Joes cafe was a great. As soon as we walked in the hostess was very friendly. Got a large table for my family. The server was so friendly and kind she explained us the specials and was very accommodating to our needs including allergy preferences for how we need the food to be cooked. So we ordered and we got the food fast! I ordered the veggie omelette it comes with cheddar but I do it dairy free and it was made perfect. It came with potatoes and unfortunately they weren't cooked enough for me and my father in law felt the same. But my my bacon was cooked perfectly tipsy exactly the way I love it! My husband and other family members got the burger and they loved it cooked perfect and seasoned meat just right with a grilled bun and crispy fries. We all enjoyed it very much. We had a wonderful experience plus the atmosphere there is very festive for the season. We will be back thank you for a good experience!

Very friendly restaurant that makes you feel at home! Food is so delicious! Staff is very friendly and fast! We had omelette, French toast and Belgian waffle! My kids left nothing on their plates! Everything was delicious!

Joe's has become a regular stop when I've got a longer layover in Lauderdale. The service is friendly and fast, and the food is reliably good. The atmosphere is strong old-school diner. I've got a weak spot for a good breakfast place, and Joe's checks all the boxes.

This diner feels like a hidden gem because of its location. The train decor is really fun and there are a ton of food options to choose from. I didn't have any issues getting a seat, even though there were a good number of people eating there, and the service was fast! The prices are really great too for the area. I'll definitely come back to try other items on the menu!

I love when brunch restaurants offer alternatives to bacon/sausage! Their hot chocolate is tasty as well! Hatch lost a star, due to having a loose dress code. Also, do u really want to sit down on a chair where someone's literal butt cheeks were just touching? Sorry, not sorry. Men keep ur shirts on & underwear covered. Five minutes go by and we see an entirely different party being seated in the seats that we were advised were for my party. Staffers apologized and seated us right away in another area, cool beans no problem. While waiting for the waiter it took almost 10min for us to be acknowledged. Once acknowledged we were provided waters for the tables. The waiter then goes missing for another 10-15mins. He's walking around as if he doesn't have a clue what's going on (big black guy, did not get his name). We finally order our food and it takes an additional 45-50min to get our food. When everyone's food came out my food was totally forgotten about and the waiter asked "did I get my food?", clearly not dude. When my food finally arrived I clearly lost my appetite with all that went on and the way my Benedict was slipped together I could have fed it to a group of pigs. Safe to say my experience was a nightmare here and I will never return nor anyone that I know. Nice concept but it's located in a terrible location. Service, food and hospitality needs work.

The line was insanely long, but we got lucky and snagged seats at the bar as soon as a group left. I ordered the applewood bacon with poached eggs, and it was a solid 10/10--very filling, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. My friends ordered the hash and omelet, and we also shared the dulce de leche pancakes. Everything was delicious. The beautiful waterfront views made the experience even better. My only advice is to come prepared for a wait, because this place is clearly popular for a reason!

As titanium Marriott bonvoy members, we received a breakfast voucher each morning of our stay, which is good for your choice of coffee or orange juice and an entree from a select menu (see pics). I found the select menu to have many great options. I had the "smothered burrito" which was huge and delicious and did not have any beans. The "traditional eggs Benedict" was typical and came with a large portion of their potatoes- yum. The "huevos rancheros" was great too but I wished it had those potatoes. My husband had the "applewood bacon and poached egg avocado toast" twice because it was so good. We ordered two additional eggs sunny to go with it, as that dish only had one poached egg. He also got the "two eggs your way" which comes with choice of protein, potatoes and two slices of sourdough toast w butter (no jam). He ordered bacon egg and cheese taco with that dish to maximize his protein intake. That was tasty. Everything we ate here was a good portion. I saw the regular menu. Dishes are about $16. The pancakes looked awesome- maybe we will get that next time. Pancakes would pair well with the hash- it looks like a huge dish. They have a breakfast cocktail menu. I had the bloody Maria (nothing special but it said house made bloody mix so I wanted to try it), which came with a celery stick. I think next time I'll do the coffee inspired cocktails. Those sound amazing. We ate inside because the wind was crazy like 25mph. We ate outside one day, when the wind wasn't as bad, and found that there are some pesky birds trying to steal food off of server trays. So if you don't want the birds, sit inside. The place gets busy; you can make a reservation. We never had to wait in line long or wait for a table, but I think that's because we're hotel guests. Once sat, we did wait more than 20 min to receive our food. But it's ok. The coffee is good. The restaurant turns into Lona for lunch and dinner. They give you the Lona drink menu for breakfast too if you're more in the mood for a margarita. Bar seating is first come first served. Bathrooms are inside the hotel lobby. There is no parking for the restaurant but you can valet.

No way this stuff wasn't pre-made a while ago. Oh yeah, part of a banana and one strawberry. Despite what the waiter said, I could tell everything was pre-made. It's about the same quality as the free "continental breakfast" most cheap hotels offer except at the hotel it's still warm and you get refills on coffee and the waffle is freshly made and hot enough to melt butter. No free refills on coffee here unless you buy their "pour over," and then you get one small refill. The strainer for the coffee was stained and filthy when it was brought out, so they're not using fresh ones or even cleaning thoroughly between uses. GF had a meatless omelet and a smoothie. Her omelet was hot so obviously it was made fresh unlike mine. I told the waiter my food was cold and he swore he saw them "take it out of the oven," but nothing I ordered would be cooked in any over other than a microwave oven. Total bill for two: $60+. This was with a 30% discount on my plate for my food being served cold. Honestly you'll have a better, fresher meal at IHOP or Waffle House or Denny's, for a fraction of the price and you'll get coffee refills.
