This place in Fort Lauderdale really impressed me. Even on my second visit, I felt the same way. The service, ambiance and food presentation is a 10/10. I ordered the Israeli breakfast, which was the perfect portion, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Everyone in our group loved their food as well. I also tried the pistachio latteit was delicious, but a bit too milky and light on the espresso. They were happy to add an extra shot on the house, which I really appreciated. There's plenty of street parking, but if you visit on the weekend, you'll most likely need to use the parking garage directly across from the cafe. It's a little pricey, but convenient when street parking is full. I really love this place and can't wait to come back again!

Overall, I would give this spot a 7/10. We started off with some lattes and they were honestly not great. They made my friend an iced mocha but it tasted nothing like it and was very milky. The pistachio iced latte was good, not great. Food was tasty, and great (big) portions which I guess would justify the price. The French Toast bites were fine, not amazing but glad we tried them. The breakfast croissant was delicious and so was the lox bagel and truffle fries. The two of us paid $120+ for everything we ordered. I would go back, but not in a rush to return.

This place is a GEM! It was worth the drive from the beach for sure! The Crème brûlée espresso tini was a whole experience!! And the whole menu looks delicious... it was hard to pick between sweet and savory but this was PERFECT! I was planning to get a coffee, not a cocktail but this looked so good and glad I did! It was next level and satisfied sweet tooth! The Benedict was also delicious! It was SO busy on a Wednesday late morning. The service was good but there was only one server for all of outside and he was a bit overwhelmed because it was soooo busy. One of our orders came out incorrect, but they quickly fixed that - so service wasn't bad by any means, they could just benefit from another server. The ambiance of this place is SO CUTE! It's by the water - the fish swim by and little lizards scurry by. The green vibes with thoughtful decor, down to the details...it's just a vibe. Highly recommend! I already wanna come back to try everything!

I am between a 3-4 star rating here as for the price, service and food from start to finish could be better. We were traveling back from a vacation in the Florida Keys to Jacksonville Florida and wanted a nice spot that offered brunch on a Wednesday and my son liked the menu here for all of us. Once we found parking, we were told the wait was 15 minutes. That was fine and we chose inside as the outside seemed lovely but hot. We were seated within the given time frame but it took over 7 minutes to be greeted by a server and another 10 minutes to get drinks. That's not acceptable. As I always say, please greet your guests and get their drinks asap and things will be better if they have to wait for food. They can converse over drinks as time passes. We started with the French toast bites as an appetizer for three adults and a toddler and they were very good. For entrees, I had a Mediterranean omelet with some modifications and it was delicious! My DIL had the truffle croque madame and my son had the bacon cheeseburger. DIL loved her meal. My son thought his was average at best. My granddaughter had a smoothie which she loved. I had two adult cocktails. The summer Bellini was delicious but the smallest Bellini I have ever had. I also had the pink Bellini and it was far too sweet with a lot of purée and not much champagne and again a very small amount. Damien was very nice but often absent when we needed things. Our last trip through Fort Lauderdale was mid April and we had the new Moxie Sunday brunch and it far trumps our meal here in atmosphere, food portions, service, etc. It just seemed as if no one really cared if you stayed to dine or not.

Went to Case Bastille in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. We got there around 1 PM and were quoted a one-hour wait. It ended up taking 43 minutes to get a table, which we were relatively pleased with. Since this is a popular spot and they don't take reservations, we didn't know what to expect. Things started off a little rocky. The host gave us two seating options, and both were in direct sunlight because one of their umbrellas had broken the day before. We understand that things happen and it's not entirely their fault, but it was still pretty unfortunate. Thankfully, after about five minutes, someone at a shaded table left, and our waiter, Ian, moved us over. Realistically, I don't think we would have been able to stay much longer if that hadn't happened. Another issue was that one of our menus was dirty when we were seated. There was food on it, and it ended up getting on our table. This was quickly fixed, but it definitely turned me off. We ordered a Chai Latte and a Coconut Foam Matcha. We thought both drinks were pretty good, but definitely overpriced. I wouldn't go out of my way to grab a drink here. The drinks were expensive, and they still charged an extra dollar if you wanted to substitute the milk. For food, we ordered the Smoked Salmon Omelet and the Israeli Breakfast. The omelet was nothing special; I felt like it lacked salmon. It was filling, but nothing particularly memorable. The Israeli Breakfast, on the other hand, was really good. We appreciated the variety it offered, and it felt very unique. At first glance, it didn't look like it would be filling, but it definitely was. We also ordered the chocolate croissant. It was good, but it wasn't very chocolatey. One thing worth noting is that this place automatically adds a 20% service fee to all checks. Thankfully, our waiter deserved it, but I didn't like not being given the choice. Overall, I think this place is okay. Is it worth the hype? Personally, I don't think so. There are other brunch spots I'd rather try before coming back.

Food was sensational! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth it. Trevor was my server and gave the best recommendations--he did not miss! 10/10, I'll definitely be back.

The portions are very generous and the food is pretty tasty. Pricing is a bit on the ridiculous side for some basic breakfast plates. Great seating and ambiance for sure especially the outdoor seating on the water.

To say this place is amazing would be an understatement. Got there around 10 AM and was seated immediately, opted for outside seating and it was a gorgeous day. The servers name escapes me, but she was very helpful and able to recommend lots of treats. Matcha latte was a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Definitely one of if not the best Matcha latte I've had. I'm not a coffee drinker but my friend loved the pistachio latte and presentation was 10 out of 10 on all dishes. Even after a full delicious meal, I couldn't resist taking home some pastries. Brought home a crème brûlée croissant, a Nutella croissant and a crookie. The crème brûlée fell a little short, but still delicious. I had it hours later at home so it wasn't as fresh but that falls on me. my overall favorite was the crookie. You still get the buttery layers of a croissant with the gooey chocolate chip cookie need I say more?

First time here, but won't be the last. What a cute little restaurant. Outdoor seating is by a canal. The food is great. Had the Salmon Benedict...wow. The staff is friendly and attentive. Parking is a challenge, but worth it.

My mom and I went to Cafe Bastille for breakfast and it was such a cute spot. We sat outside and had a really lovely view of the water, which made the whole experience even better. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was very good. For food, we got the yogurt parfait and the dulce de leche French toast, and both were delicious. Everything tasted super fresh and very well made. The service was also really good. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Fort Lauderdale!

We visited Café Bastille on a Sunday for brunch, and overall it was a really great experience. Just a heads up--they don't take reservations, so it's walk-in only. We were initially quoted a 45-minute wait for a table but once we got there we requested a table right by the wayater, so we decided to grab two coconut foam matchas (served iced only) and walk around. To our surprise, it wasn't even 20 minutes before we got a text that our table was ready, which was a nice bonus. Our server, Jean, was fantastic--very attentive, patient while we took our time deciding, and gave great recommendations that we ended up loving. At first, we were going to be seated at a table that wasn't directly on the water, but we let the hostess know we preferred to wait a bit longer for a waterfront table. I'm really glad we did because the views made such a difference. Once seated, we ordered two hot pistachio lattes, the Turkish eggs, the Smoked Salmon Benedict (which comes with a bowl of house potatoes), and the Steak and Eggs Bowl. Everything was delicious and well-prepared, and the drinks were just as good as they looked. The side aioli that comes with the house potatoes was especially good--honestly so good that the portion felt a little small, and we ended up asking for more (which we also used on the steak and eggs bowl). One thing I really appreciated is their ingredient quality and sourcing--they fry exclusively with beef tallow, cook with butter and EVOO only, use free-range chicken and cage-free eggs, and even their non-dairy milks are seed-oil-free. It's a detail you don't see everywhere and definitely adds to the overall experience. Between the great food, beautiful waterfront views, and lively atmosphere, it made for a really enjoyable brunch. Definitely worth checking out if you don't mind a bit of a wait!

.Came on a Thursday for a bday brunch, 10:30 am. It was busy but they sat us within a few minutes. This restaurant is mostly outdoor but there is an inside area as well. Super cute and aesthetic including napkins and plates. Food was good but it came out cold. Turkish breakfast was good, sweet potato waffles were good not too sweet. I had the Tiramisu Tini to drink, it was amazing. Service was very slow and sitting outside without umbrellas was painfully hot. May come back in cooler weather. Should have more waiters since this is a busy place.

Publix cake that was deteriorating since they kept us ina. Scorching sun with no umbrellas working

Sunday brunch, no reservations allowed, expected time of an hour and 1/2 which is fine. We were 7 adults and 4 children. If I could give this place a zero or negative I would. Unfortunately it doesn't allow it. Manager and assistant manager should be replaced. They just walk around with iPads and clueless. Here's the rundown: I proceeded to the "inside bar/ pick up area " and waited 15 min for someone to make a vodka drink and mimosa. The male manager passed by me probably 3 times and the assistant Allison twice. I finally lost my patience and asked Allison when she passed by a 3rd time - who I can place the order with. She said oh I can take your order. Proceed with my 2 drinks and went back to the front. There was a lady waiting to order I told her good luck, they all work on the tickets receive but the manager is the guy and I think assistant is the girl but they split. Upon check in to the host we asked if we can keep the cake at the hostess stand to not carry drinks and cake and for the cake not to melt. They said they couldn't. They eventually sat us in the table where the scorching sun was right at us claiming that ALL the umbrellas were broken. We were holding the menus on our faces to help with the sun. We ordered drinks and and I asked for my vodka drink where the waitress advised me that they don't do spirits, so when I ordered with the assistant manager a vodka cocktail she did not tell me it was wine based or whatever they call it. I'm like okay at this point, whatever. Let's talk about the food... the French toast Nutella was the only good thing, everyone was trying my plate as theirs was horrible. Their meal of meat was very chewy. 2 of our friends ordered unlimited mimosas. It was pulling teeth to get a second mimosa after 45 min. We ordered 4 "tequila" espresso which one had a hair in, as soon as the server started giving us the drinks my friend noticed before it got to me and I got a picture of it. She asked if I wanted to make another one, of course not! All they would do as lazy as they all were working was probably remove the hair. The lady server left and never told us she was leaving so we were patiently looking waiting for her and eventually realized she left. They charged us a $25 cake fee that no one let us know. When we got seated I asked again if they can put in fridge so it wouldn't melt in the scorching heat they put us in. They said no - because of "cross contamination" mind you it was a publix sealed cake. So we covered it as much possible but half melted. Fine... when we got the check and saw the $25 cake fee, we asked and they argued that we had to pay it. We even brought our own plates and candle. But we didn't think we could need a lighter, they couldn't give us one. But they sure wanted to charge us for the cake fee lol. Allison had to tell her worthless manager and finally removed from our account as a "one time". As if we were guilty. We also had a big birthday balloon that a friend gave to the birthday girl but the hostess told us we couldn't take to the table and they would hold it for her when we departed. When we left, the hostess was gone and balloon as well. It's not much, but it's the small details. The customer service, the male manager and assistant if that was her role looked so miserable and disgruntled. We finally got our check with the mandatory 20% which they truly did NOT receive. The manager upon leaving and the staff looking for balloon that they couldn't find, tried to make it better by offering us the "best made drink by him" wine based drinks to go, which were gross but I think is against the law to take in alcohol plastic cups to your car. I threw mine out as it tasted like a headache. I don't think none of us will ever be back, nor anyone we told about the horrible experience. It had great reviews on tik tok and IG the main reason we went. Go elsewhere!!! Better brunch places out there with better service.

We were literally All Dressed Up With No Place to Go! Trusty Google saved the day! We landed at Le Bistro, French, Steakhouse, a delightful & charming spot on 4626 N Federal in LHP. They were so kind to accommodate us at the last moment... it was just lovely! Our appetizers were: a beautiful greens salad with onions, green olives, hearts of palm, radish, and tomato with a light dijon vinaigrette (he), escargot with perfect garlic butter and a mini French bread for dipping (me). Intermezzo was a light shaved mango sorbet which cleansed our palates for the entree. He: tender turkey with sage & onion dressing, tasty gravy, mashed potatoes light n' buttery, and green beans. Me: roast beef, medium rare, tasty beef gravy, bearnaise sauce on the side, burgundy truffle whipped potatoes and tiny asparagus tips. The merlot, Chevalier Alexis Lichine, vin de France, was smooth as soft velvet. So good & reasonably priced I enjoyed two generous glasses Dessert was couveture chocolate mousse (he) and vanilla creme brulee (me). And cups of the best coffee! Ambience is soft and delightfully cozy. We enjoyed a cozy half-booth in the corner. The service was impeccable & unobtrusive. I dreamed of enjoying a French Onion soup here on a chilly, blustery night. Holiday dinner is prix fixe and expensive (but SO worth it!). Wine is reasonably priced. I imagine regular dinner service would be high end, however, I believe if you'd enjoy a French Steakhouse that would be as comfortable in the South of France as it is on Federal in LHP. From the moment we walked in, we were transported from an ordinary strip mall setting into a charming English tea room filled with flowers, beautiful décor, cozy seating, and even fun royal family cutouts for photos. Every table felt unique, and the elegant china added to the experience. We chose the Duchess Tea Package, which included a pot of tea, soup or salad, and a three-tiered selection of sandwiches and desserts. The sandwiches were delicious, featuring favorites like tuna salad, egg salad, turkey, and croissant sandwiches. We also enjoyed scones, macarons, cheesecake, and other sweet treats. You can also opt to order regular menu brunch items like eggs Benedict, crepes , or French toast . To make the birthday celebration extra special, I ordered desserts for my friends, which were beautifully presented while the staff sang "Happy Birthday." It was such a thoughtful touch. The tea selection was extensive, and our server was attentive and friendly despite the restaurant being completely full. We arrived at 11 a.m. on a Sunday and the dining room remained busy throughout our visit. There was even a baby shower being hosted in a private area. They do offer outdoor seating, but I highly recommend sitting inside to fully enjoy the atmosphere. My friends and I wore our large hats and gloves to embrace the tea party experience, and we took so many wonderful photos and memories home with us. The service I received was exceptionally poor. The sandwiches were, for the most part, average, with one exception, and the scones, one of the.sandwich clotted cream were satisfactory. The tea was acceptable. My visit was in February for high tea, and I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. Upon arrival, I approached lady Hostess A and requested an indoor table. She informed me that the indoor seating was full but suggested I could sit anywhere outside. I proceeded to seat myself. There was no queue or other patrons waiting at that time. Mr. Waiter J..later informed me about reported issues with bees in the outdoor area, which I understood. I reiterated my preference for indoor seating, explaining that Hostess A had indicated no availability inside, which led me to the outdoor area. After I placed my order, other patrons arrived. Hostess A escorted them to outdoor tables and provided them with menus. This pattern continued with subsequent arrivals. I observed that all the patrons she seated shared a similar skin tone to hers, unlike myself. Furthermore, after patrons departed from the indoor area, Hostess A personally re-entered the outdoor area to escort these new arrivals inside, despite their arrival significantly after mine. One patron, whom she seated indoors, later returned outside..The inside was full but many cluents left in groups freeibg uo various table indore..She appeared to have many options..options that i was not offrerd after i my wish was express that i wanted an inside table Lady A indicating that indoor seating had been available. I also overheard her inquiring about reservations, suggesting that these patrons did not have one. Another patron seated near me was also offered an indoor table. Throughout this experience, Mr. J observed my predicament with the bees and proactively intervened to improve the situation. I shared my observations with him, and he offered me an indoor table, which I declined at that point. His exemplary teamwork and service in addressing the disrespect and unfavorable treatment I experienced were didpleased . My waiter, Mr. J.. was ok.. When I shared my observations with him, he suggested that Hostess A might have forgot about me. I found this particularly noteworthy given that two patrons were seated within arm's length of me, requiring her to navigate around me. My table was also positioned beside the entrance, a high-traffic area for incoming guests. While I acknowledged the possibility of oversight, I also reflected on the unfortunate phenomenon where individuals of differing skin tones are sometimes marginalized as in my case. I sat outside and while the bees was competing with my food. Mr. Jeh...consistently refilled my tea and checked on me frequently. The waiter also checked on me and acknowledged the bee issue. Mr. Jel ....was professionalism, kindness, and efficiency in attempting to rectify the situation were commendable. I would rate the waiter's quality as 3 out of 10, while Mr. jEl....service merits a perfect 10. Regarding the restaurant as a whole, I am profoundly disappointed. I had been enthusiastic about finding a tea house, as they are a rarity in South Florida.

Our server actually served us a vanilla bean "torrejas" French toast dessert with a lit candle since we were in town for our 15th anniversary. I just pray we get to come back again in the future. You MUST come here if in the area.

Food was a work of art. If I lived near this restaurant full-time, I would tear my kitchen out and…read moreturn it into some other kind of room. Service was reminiscent of times gone by where people actually cared about how they take care of their customer. Unfortunately, & not that he's my greatest & most interesting friend, I was with my buddy having dinner here. This was my find, & if it wasn't a good place, he would never let me forget it. However lucky for you & me, it is a great restaurant. However, I suggest you take your wife or girlfriend here. It's a Quiet, romantic spot with perfect atmosphere. It is made differently than I am used to. It is escargot served with a sauce. It is not served in individual cups with a garlic oil. It was tasty. My friend had the baked apple and brie salad, which was a special of the day. It was delicious and fresh. My entree was the beef roast. It was rich and flavorful and served with potato au gratin and green beans and brussels sprouts. My friend had the mahi and mango suace entree. The fish is caught fresh. We finished with the pistachio rum cake and banana bread pudding. The banana bread pudding was my favorite. Overall, we had good service and the food is all made in-house and super fresh. Make a reservation because it is a super small restaurant! There is metered parking in the attached lot.

In addition, the reservation I made for 6pm wasn't necessary as the restaurant was void of diners and mostly stayed that way. The waiter/host was very cordial. The interior of the restaurant remains the same, which is a positive. Our waiter remained attentive and available when needed. As for our meal, it wasn't completely up to par. Two fillet mignons were more rare than ordered; the mashed potatoes had a strange taste, which could have been the seasonings; the pastries were dry and the Tiramisu wasn't Tiramisu. Another disappointment was no employee spoke French, however, the interior remains lovely.

The ambiance was nice. The low lighting, music, and nice decor took me to another place. The restaurant also has an outdoor sitting area. It is a nice place to visit. It is the kinda place you want to have lunch with friends. I stopped in to check out the pastries on display. I like croissants. The pastries all looked good. They are all a good size and price. You get your money's worth. They have a menu listed on top. I ended up getting two pastries. They both tasted great. I wish I had gotten the coffee. It is something I want to come back and try. The service was friendly. The staff was helpful and professional. I liked that they smile. It made a good impression.
