Classic diner and exceptionally clean. Food is great had the Western omelette which was perfect. Heard about this place from a friend and it's as good as they said. Lastly, the service was perfect.

I've been coming here for over two decades, and it is truly the best. No other place gives you such warm, attentive service and Southern hospitality. Everyone who works here always busts their butt. I love the vibes inside--homey/welcoming and definitely gives family-owned. It exudes a lazy Sunday in the best way. The restaurant draws in crowds of regulars and older folk. All of their meals are true comfort food. I've had pancakes and grits and waffles... all great. Overall, a nice spot to have a relaxing brunch, free from the hectic buzz of the outside world.

We were in town on a vacation and wanted to grab some breakfast before we went to the Air and Space Museum at Dulles (great museum by the way). This place did not disappoint. Friendly service, great food, and excellent ambiance. You know the place is good when regulars come in to get their breakfast or lunch and the wait staff knows their name. If you want a tasty, affordable breakfast, this is the place.

Service was amazing. Doesn't feel rushed at all and waiter was very friendly and attentive. Had about a 5-10 min wait on a Sunday around 10:30ish. Tables are fairly close together, but if you don't mind being close to strangers you won't mind. Food was amazing. Everything was so good. I had a maple turkey bacon platter. 3 strips of bacon, eggs, hash browns and biscuit. You can also choose home fries instead of hash browns and toast or an English muffin instead of the biscuit. I was least impressed by the biscuit, you can tell they're home made, but they lack flavor, even with butter to me (I don't eat jelly often). If the biscuit had a little more flavor this would be an easy 5 star spot. Def a mom and pop type spot, don't expect the fancy bells and whistles, but expect good food.

For the food, I would have to say 3 stars, but for the atmosphere 5 out of 5. I absolutely loved it in here. I went with a friend on a rainy day, and it was so cozy. It has the exact breakfast diner atmosphere I was looking for - classic, old-fashioned diner vibes. The service was very friendly, and there were a lot of regulars. My over easy eggs and sausage were very good. My toast was nothing to complain about. The hash browns were very okay. The classic waffle was disappointing... it was super thin and not very crispy, but the strawberries I ordered on top were good quality. However, like I said, I came here more for the atmosphere than the food. That being said - I definitely plan to come back and get a club sandwich:) and maybe try the French toast.

We came here on a Saturday morning and we were able to get a table quickly. The service was attentive and fast. The food came out rapidly and that was the first sign of quality. This place is on the level of a Dennys, not just in the vibe but the food too. When the best thing is the toast then that is a problem. After finishing your food, you can get the check and pay up front. I would not go back to this place for breakfast since there are plenty of other places you can get more superior nourishment.

My gosh I love this place. Great comfort food made to order. Can't get enough of it. Friendly staff and just some down home food.

Only regular coffee, no lattes available.

Super basic breakfast menu, not a whole lot of variety. Food is a little bland but people seem to love it here because it's always packed, at least on weekends. They don't have an espresso machine so the coffee is just regular coffee and it was very watered down. Service is good.

Overall, the appetizer portions are VERY small. For the main entrees, we got SPICY SAUSAGE PIZZA, BRAISED PORK PAPPARDELLE, CAMPANELLE, CABERNET BURGER, ATLANTIC SALMON, and RAINBOW TROUT. -Spicy Sausage Pizza: it was a spicy sausage pizza with some fancy cheese grated on top. -Braised Pork Pappardelle: The noodles were al dente and there was a tomato based sauce. -Campanelle: the white sauce was a little bland. The noodles were al dente. -Cabernet Burger: the patty was very flavorful and juicy. Would recommend this. It came with fries. -Atlantic Salmon: The salmon was topped with a tomato sauce, personally I would have prefer no tomato sauce as it really overpowers the salmon flavor. Under the salmon was some lettuce. -Rainbow trout: this does not come with a sauce on top like the salmon and so is able to maintain a bit of crisp to the skin. Overall, all the food we had here was mediocre. Nothing stood out. The location and ambiance is great, so it's nice for a get together, not for foodies - not recommended.

In comparison to our most frequented Ashburn outpost, the interior here feels more cozy and old school rather than bright and modern. Despite a very busy dining and waiting room, the host sat us almost immediately during peak hours at a generously sized booth, a nice touch given we had our infant son in tow. The food here tasted consistent with what we have had at other locations of Ted's. While the food here does not necessarily amaze the palate, it is executed competently and the large menu caters to a variety of tastes with some creative, global touches. My wife always selects the Turkish eggs, which comprise a trio of poached eggs swimming in a garlicky yogurt and topped with piquant chili oil. The dish makes for a light, fresh breakfast with plenty of flavor. I opted for a Sichuan hot chicken sandwich. The cripsy, juicy chicken breast coated in a heavily seasoned chili dunk yielded a surprisingly flavorful bite. Despite the chicken quality, I did not love the sweet American style coleslaw that topped the sandwich nor the limp fries that arrived alongside. Service ran smoothly, as our waitress promptly took our orders, remained available throughout service, and even subbed out my wife's latte for no charge when she found the taste too sweet. Prices here are about $15-20 per entree which is standard for the Town Center and reasonable given portion sizes. Overall, Ted's remains a reliable option for a satisfying and consistent lunch or brunch, and we are glad to have a location so nearby.
