Special list... sweet potato pancakes with pecans and honey butter

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A traditional diner.... for what they do a solid 5 star.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Going to be honest there is stuff they could do better.... my main issue is maple syrup. What they serve is tasty but since a local spot for us I sometimes bring our own real. Doubtful i'd drive out of my way If your near ..... Solid service.... decent pricing... at home atmosphere... consistent food options. We primarily get breakfast here. Really adore when things pop on special board like yesterdays sweet potato pancakes on the menu or my fav which is their cornbread waffles. Always happy when I can get grits and rye bread toast.

Solid diner with lots of great options. I had the country fried steak with eggs and home fries. Loved the sliced home fries - cooked perfectly. Super friendly service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Was popular - got crowded quickly on a Sunday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Classic diner and exceptionally clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is great had the Western omelette which was perfect. Heard about this place from a friend and it's as good as they said. Lastly, the service was perfect.

I've been coming here for over two decades, and it is truly the best. No other place gives you such warm, attentive service and Southern hospitality. Everyone who works here always busts their butt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the vibes inside--homey/welcoming and definitely gives family-owned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It exudes a lazy Sunday in the best way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant draws in crowds of regulars and older folk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All of their meals are true comfort food. I've had pancakes and grits and waffles... all great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, a nice spot to have a relaxing brunch, free from the hectic buzz of the outside world.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We were in town on a vacation and wanted to grab some breakfast before we went to the Air and Space Museum at Dulles (great museum by the way). This place did not disappoint. Friendly service, great food, and excellent ambiance. You know the place is good when regulars come in to get their breakfast or lunch and the wait staff knows their name. If you want a tasty, affordable breakfast, this is the place.

Maple Turkey Bacon Platter ( 3 strips turkey bacon, eggs, and hash brown.

Service was amazing. Doesn't feel rushed at all and waiter was very friendly and attentive. Had about a 5-10 min wait on a Sunday around 10:30ish. Tables are fairly close together, but if you don't mind being close to strangers you won't mind. Food was amazing. Everything was so good. I had a maple turkey bacon platter. 3 strips of bacon, eggs, hash browns and biscuit. You can also choose home fries instead of hash browns and toast or an English muffin instead of the biscuit. I was least impressed by the biscuit, you can tell they're home made, but they lack flavor, even with butter to me (I don't eat jelly often). If the biscuit had a little more flavor this would be an easy 5 star spot. Def a mom and pop type spot, don't expect the fancy bells and whistles, but expect good food.

For the food, I would have to say 3 stars, but for the atmosphere 5 out of 5. I absolutely loved it in here. I went with a friend on a rainy day, and it was so cozy. It has the exact breakfast diner atmosphere I was looking for - classic, old-fashioned diner vibes. The service was very friendly, and there were a lot of regulars. My over easy eggs and sausage were very good. My toast was nothing to complain about. The hash browns were very okay. The classic waffle was disappointing... it was super thin and not very crispy, but the strawberries I ordered on top were good quality. However, like I said, I came here more for the atmosphere than the food. That being said - I definitely plan to come back and get a club sandwich:) and maybe try the French toast.

We came here on a Saturday morning and we were able to get a table quickly. The service was attentive and fast. The food came out rapidly and that was the first sign of quality. This place is on the level of a Dennys, not just in the vibe but the food too. When the best thing is the toast then that is a problem. After finishing your food, you can get the check and pay up front. I would not go back to this place for breakfast since there are plenty of other places you can get more superior nourishment.

My gosh I love this place. Great comfort food made to order. Can't get enough of it. Friendly staff and just some down home food.

Only regular coffee, no lattes available.

Nevertheless I never had an issue when I went. I thought the ambiance was very nice. The seating is cute and when you order "for here" they serve you in a very cute mug. I've had the red eye and the coconut chai. I didn't know this until after the fact: the coconut chai does not include coconut milk only coconut flakes. The baristas were nice about the misunderstanding. Bonus: The bakery offers physical loyalty punch cards. Ask for one if you are a fan of your drink!

The space is unique and cozy, filled with romantic decor that makes it feel like home. The food and pastries are just as amazing as the atmosphere. I tried their rose latte, topped with delicate rose petals. It was so pretty and uniquely flavorful. I've also tried their pesto poulet sandwich (baguette, pesto chicken, tomato, green pepper, and mozzarella cheese) and it was super yum! The chocolate hazelnut pastry is a perfect companion for the coffee, and you can ask for your pastry to be warmed up, which is even better. Bonus: they serve the coffee in a cute mug, which is such a nice touch. Love when I can have my coffee in a mug! Employees are nice, and the service is great! Plenty of seating and parking is easy. This café is perfect for a relaxed morning, brunch, or an afternoon treat. I am already planning my next visit!

The crème brûlée is smooth and rich, also leaning sweet rather than balanced. Drinks follow the same pattern: creamy, mild, and approachable, with the whipped cream version noticeably more dessert-like. Warm atmosphere, efficient service, and fair pricing. 5/5 within its category--predictable, satisfying, and well executed for what it is.
