Visited Miller's Ale House pretty late on a Friday night and got seated on the bar side, which was pretty full with people just hanging out. We ordered a lot of food, but I personally got the Baked Chicken Scampi Pasta with a side of fries. The portion was huge and honestly surprised me. Even though it was massive, it still felt pretty light and wasn't overloaded with cheese like I expected. The broccoli and tomatoes were a nice touch and made it feel a little less heavy. The fries were crispy and well seasoned too. I also tried the Boom Boom Shrimp. It's a generous 20-piece appetizer that could easily be an entrée on its own. Super flavorful, although maybe just a little heavy on the mayo. We ended the night with the donuts, which were airy in the middle and really good. As long as you get the lunch specials and stay on the lunch specials and I get the add-ons or the extras of the desserts you're gonna make out like a bandit the place is super cheap the food is very nice. It's not you know a Michelin star restaurant but it's worth every dollar as long as you can stay on the specials and stay away from the liquor you make out like a bandit there the place is great very clean. Was shopping in the area and decided to stop in for lunch and since I was solo I sat at the bar. It honestly took the bartender about 10 minutes before she acknowledged me, but once she did she was pretty thorough. I ordered 6 Chili Lime wings as a starter which is supposed to be dry rubbed .... those poor wings were so bland and it seemed like whoever was supposed to rub them forgot and just sprinkled like a pinch of the chili lime dust on top of them. The Cobb Salad was massive and pretty tasty. I immediately boxed up half because I knew I wouldn't finish it. We sat out on the patio with my dogs and had a lovely meal on a beautiful early March Sunday! I had never set foot inside the restaurant, so I had yet to learn what it looked like, as this was my first time eating there. Our server was accommodating and provided delicious drinks like the Prickly Pear Margarita. My friend got a big one, so I decided to share one with my mom as it would be less to drink but still excellent and flavorful. I ordered the chicken noodle soup, and the French dip with fries sounded good. I opted to get it without swiss and not cheese, and it came out as I liked and was very tasty. The salmon my mother and friend both got looked good and cooked to their liking, but I wanted beef, and the French dip is just a different type of sandwich you don't see everywhere. I will be back. We visit millers at least 3 times a month and actually enjoy it . Our last visit was different. Our server approach is early and asked whether we have dine here before and we told him we come often . He went over the specials and he took our drink order and asked did we want water with lemon slice what a difference. Ah the infamous Miller's Ale House - the dirty franchise dive bar that exists on a dark alley of many towns. Let's start with the good since that'll be short and sweet. The good is that it's convenient for watching sports - we went here last Sunday to watch the Eagles for Sunday night football. We needed a place where we could find a quick spot on a really busy game day while being as close to the airport as possible since I had a flight to catch right when the game was to end. Now let's move onto the rest. The crowd, or the "regulars" at this location are rowdy, gross, and downright disgusting. There's this one lady who was so obnoxiously loud and screaming at everyone while moving around the bar. I don't even get how they let her be this way but then again, I had to remind myself that we're at Miller's. She's the posterchild of "I didn't get attention as a kid, I'm too old to blatantly ask for it now, so I'm going to throw tantrums and make you notice me" - yuck. Why I bring her up is because her and her crew are apparently there VERY OFTEN. So if you're going there and you're not rooting for her teams, you might get shunned or shuttered by them. We sat far enough on the corner of the main bar but she still shouted 'F* THE EAGLES' when we cheered for our team. Absolutely despicable behavior. As for the food - if you're looking for bar food that's bad for you and you have gallons of water to spare for the rest of the night to soothe your aching tummy, this is your place. The healthiest option is a celery stick that comes with your unhealthy meals. There was only one bartender manning the entire front bar and that's just not sustainable but she was relatively well-mannered. Our flatbread was a greasy mess but we wanted to knosh. The wings were mildly better. The hot sauce isn't hot so if you want spicy, go Nashville Hot. We went to Burton's across the street for our actual meal after the game since my flight got delayed. I went to this location tonight for dinner, they hold to covid safety precautions as far as seating, capacity, and masks go. My review will be based on the staff. Our waitress outside on the patio was phenomenal. You could tell all her tables loved her, and she acted as if you'd known her forever. At one point I heard incredibly troubling comments from a customer next to me. I informed the waitress who was so polite and apologetic. She took an extra step and informed her GM (Adam?) who came to my table to get to the bottom of the incident. He was wonderful and you could tell truly, truly cared about my experience there. Came the day before St. Patrick's Day and was told they were out of Guinness. It was downhill from there. Don't get the mahi mahi sandwich, I could taste the freezer burn and it was dry and awful. The clam chowder had so many potatoes, it had the consistency of paste. We even found a French fry in it. The Caesar salad was full of old lettuce ends and also dry. The burgers are your best bet and were a hit with my group. The waiter was slow to drop the bill and even slower to pick it up. Miller's Ale House is a relatively good sports bar with a solid aesthetic and ambiance, great food, and average service. The bar is clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of TVs for lovers of sports. The selection of sport programming is somewhat odd, but in general there is good TV access across the restaurant. The food selection at Miller's is what you'd expect of a sports bar (wings, burgers, etc) but the quality is higher than you's expect at a sports bar-restaurant. I've eaten here consistently and the food is always well-cooked and substantive. The service tends to be average to above average, with some exceptions. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive, without exception. You can expect quality service from the waiters and waitresses; who all carry themselves in a genuinely nice and caring manner. The level of service is somewhat reduced by the management. At times, through no clear fault of the waitresses, cook staff, hosts, etc; there is some level of disarray that can likely be attributed to mismanagement. Moreover, one can expect less than friendly interaction with management staff. Unlike the front-end staff, managers may be prone to presenting a hostile and unforgiving attitude. , Personally, I've had both exceptional and unacceptable interactions at Miller's. Most of the above-and-beyond service occurred with the many talented and hard-working front end staff. On one occasion, however, when the restaurant was experiencing some level of disarray the food arrived quite late and my party were not served for upwards of 45 minutes since our arrival. We politely asked for to-go boxes and the check as we had later plans, and the waitress obliged with a great attitude. Unfortunately, the manager, Sean; approached our table without request and berated us for needing to leave early. Keep in mind, everyone (including us) were non-confrontational and upbeat until this point. We weren't upset and simply needed to leave and asked nicely. However, the manager rudely approached and without introduction scolded us saying "So what's your issue?", following up by saying that "this is not fast food" and telling us hour long wait times before receiving the food is not uncommon in restaurants - all of this because we simply asked for some boxes and a check. I work in food service and really never find myself in confrontational exchanges with those that work in the industry, but this was extremely strange as it was entirely unprovoked. The management needs to be accountable to itself and support their staff and patrons, rather than allow emotions to overwhelm their behavior. Overall, I would potentially recommend Miller's to friends and will return in the future. The good quality of food and friendly wait staff more than make up for the poor attitude of management on occasion. read more

First time back in over a year (COVID). Showed up on a Saturday afternoon. Chose to sit outside as it was a cool day and the cicadas are declining in quantity and noise. Service was a bit slow to start; our hostess arrived and apologized immediately - they had a party of 28 people show up w/o reservation, and that party took a ton of staff away. We saw the party, and understand. We weren't in any hurry. After our hostess arrived, she was extremely attentive, getting drinks and entrees to the table, checking up on us regularly, and getting refills on drinks very quickly. Food was good, both of us had burgers. I was tempted for one of the bigger plates, but decided to stick with the cheeseburger. It was well made, good burger, cooked right, all the toppings were fresh and good. Overall, very nice. And a very nice return to dining out. Yes - previous experience has included slow service - they are in a heavily trafficked area, and sometimes the crowd surge overwhelms them. I'm reviewing this strictly from a Grubhub delivery standpoint and have not been in the restaurant itself. The location is a bit far from me, but the food was delivered hot (I included the first picture so you can see the steam). It was well packaged and came with napkins and wet naps. Loaded cheese fries is already one of my favorite guilty pleasures and they add chicken tendies to it in the Zingers Mountain Melt which is delicious. The 5 Pepper Fire sauce is actually spicy and very flavorful. Some people like ranch OR blue cheese, but I like both and I thought both were solid. The mozzarella sticks were good as well. Solid choice for late night eats. Overall I would rate this meal 5/5 Zingers would Zing again. read more
