I'm used to getting breakfast from St. Brigid's deli further down Post Ave but recently got the chance to try Joe's Deli a few times for breakfast. I noticed this place gets a lot of business so guess that is a good sign. The place is pretty clean and well kept. What I really like about this place is that their menu and prices are crystal clear. Their items are written in big letters on colorful pieces of paper and it's very easy to choose what you want and know how much it'll cost. I feel like this should be standard at any food place when you walk in, but sadly, it is not. I've tried a few of the breakfast special items and have been pretty pleased with the quality and flavor of all of them. I've had the standard bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll ($4.50 / it's $4.89 including tax), the hungry man hero ($8.50 / it's $9.25 including tax), and the bacon w/ 3 pancakes special ($6.50 / it's $7.09 including tax). All items were good; nothing mindblowing, but solid performance for the price. Their prices are pretty reasonable compared to some other deli's, so that is a positive in my book. Also, I'm pretty sure this place charges a fee for credit card, so paying in cash is probably best. So overall I'd recommend Joe's Deli and hope it continues to deliver quality breakfast and sandwiches at good price points for a long time. read more

Went there for Saturday morning breakfast. What can I say it was done quickly accurately Well seasoned hot and affordable. I got two sandwiches and one platter and I was out within 15 minutes they are organized well stocked and extremely efficient I will be back OK I went back for lunch I got a chicken cutlet On a hero with bacon and cheese lettuce tomato and mayonnaise. While it wasn't the freshest of chicken cutlets (they had to microwave the cutlet) it wasn't stale either. I ate the sandwich with enjoyment and a smile on my face. With nervousness I also bought the macaroni salad I was concerned it was not fresh Because it was prepackaged and I hoped it wasn't made in a factory. Well if it wasn't made in a factory it sure did taste like true macaroni salad and it was extremely fresh. I guess the only thing the sandwich was missing was a pickle. Next time I visit Joe's deli I will tell him that. I will be back read more

My husband has been getting the pancakes and bacon breakfast special the past few weekends and it looks and smells amazing, so when he asked me this morning if I'd like breakfast from Joe's Deli, I replied "Yes!" He brought back the eggs, sausage and home fries breakfast special for me. One bite and OMG this so good! The home fries are seasoned perfectly, usually I have to add ketchup or hot sauce to it, not this time. The sausage patty and eggs are on point too! Kudos to the chef! I'm savoring every bite! Who knew Joe's Deli makes some of the best breakfast just down the street? We'll definitely order again! read more

Used to be amazing years ago but not the same at all. I had a chicken cutlet sandwich and they charge $1.00 extra just for adding tomatoes and lettuce. That's absurd. My chicken cutlet was overpriced and really wasn't great at all, definitely not as good as it was 7-8 years ago. Wouldn't recommend this place. It's too overpriced and the quality isn't good. read more

I don't really like leaving reviews, but i'm going to just for this. It's a good environment, a lot of good things on the menu and a lot of things to choose from, but i wanted a few sandwiches. I looked at the previous menu before prices were adjusted, and they were $3.50 each. She rang it up as $5 each, i don't know if she was adding tax or what, but it didn't seem right. I opened the sandwiches, none of it was melted, really cooked, or good. It was all stale bread and it smelled like seafood. Great carry out. Reasonable prices with large portions. I had a corned beef and pastrami mixture. Very good flavors. The menu board reminded me of Chinese Take-Out. We sat on two small stools by a counter. The only seating. I thought it strange that our order was interrupted by another order and then finished. read more

Very good Deli in Westbury Ling Island. Coffee is delicious. I always order their bacon eggs and American cheese on a round roll. They also have hot food specials for lunch. And of course their lunch sandwiches are made with love as well. read more

Good food and quick service The custom sandwiches are lovely Always service with a smile in downtown Westbury on post. Be sure to wash down hay food with a half n half lemonade ice tea that is made fresh. Also the prices are pretty good too not to break the bank the bank but a good number for quality food. read more

My friends dad used to get egg sandwiches from here every Sunday when we were younger. I asked him what it was called and decided to visit. This place is spotless! Cleanest deli I've ever been to and it is so organized. The food came out quick and the sandwich was delicious. The bacon was perfect. If my bacon isn't well done I can't eat it. The only thing I would ask for different is the eggs cooked over medium because they were well done. Other wise it was delicious. They even had simple syrup for the iced coffee so there wasn't grains of sugar. Phenomenal place. read more

If by chance you have a relative visiting New York for the first time and never tried a NY bagel, don't go here. This place is a disgrace to bagels. First off the bagel bread is awful. Its dry and it looks like someone stump on them. Second, they're very cheap on cream cheese. They barely put anything in the bagel. Their other breakfast sandwiches are mediocre. For example, I had a breakfast sandwich. The only thing I tasted was the burnt roll. Its not worth to spend a dime here. Might as well walk south on Post and go to Dunkin Donuts. read more
