After the second scheduled windshield replacement appointment neglect, we called Joes this morning, they got us in at 4:00 pm and we were home within the hour; new windshield installed. My daughter had a simple rock chip in her windshield. Very basic. She took it to Joe's to have it filled. And instead of filling it, they put too much pressure on the windshield and created a whole new crack in the windshield. It was NOT part of the damage caused by the rock. This was a whole new crack, several inches away from the original damage. They then lied to my daughter and told her it was just "air in the glass". Well, that was a lie. When my daughter asked for someone else to take a look at it, the "new guy" said no one else was available to assist. Then my husband looked at it. He knew it was a new crack. He called and talked to Joe himself, who advised the only way to fix it, Is with a new a new windshield. How very convenient. Very basic repair turns into over $1000 repair for Joe. And they refused to take responsibility or make it right. Well nope, sorry Joe. You won't be touching this vehicle or any other vehicle I own. I have had multiple windshields replaced here. I have also referred people here before as well. That won't happen again. I'm so disgusted that they won't accept responsibility for damaging my vehicle. They simply don't care about their customers. They got me in rather quickly as well as finished my windshield replacement quickly. Note they weren't as busy as they normally are which is why I got in so quick but they did an amazing job. Employees were so nice and so quick to fix my windshield so close to their closing time. Appreciated them so much! 10/10 recommend them!! read more

I have a 2009 Toyota Venza, it has a glass roof and a rock hit the top portion Joe's gave me a quote took my vin number and asked me to pay up front and I did. They said it would be there in a week and a half 2 weeks go buy and I give them a call and they say they ordered the wrong glass. They say they need the vin number again. I give it to them and then they say they say it's going to be another $100.00 I'm not happy but I pay it 3 weeks later my glass shows up. they install it and the first time I wash my car water is pouring in. I make the call and I am told there is no way that water can be pouring in. I take the car up there and the owner is arguing with me I say well it wasn't leaking when I brought it here even with the cracked top. It's scheduled to be looked at. I can't believe I called and was able to get an appointment for the same day to replace my windshield! I also found out they are affiliated with my insurance, so I get the same great guarantee that I would have if I had gone through my insurance companies suggested company! I got there early, they checked me in, told me my wait time would be about an hour and 35 minutes later they were telling me my car was finished, I was surprised and very pleased! They had the best price I found and everyone was so nice over the phone and in person. While I was waiting in the reception area waiting for my car, you know how it is at some places, you are sitting there and a technician comes in from the garage and starts making rude comments, or talking about the boss, or how they don't like their schedule something like that, but nothing like that happened, I was pleasantly surprised. DON'T recommend this place at all. Except, Nick, he was nice but the other people and quality of work sucked. We got our windshield replaced here a few months ago. (A rock chipped turned into a few long cracks.) Fast forward, to just this past week, we noticed a crack on the bottom of our windshield. We called to see what happened, was asked to bring our car in to check to see if it was a stress crack or another chip. Nick helped us get in, had a technician meet me at the car, he said it was a rock chip that caused it. And literally walked back into the garage without even discussing anything further with me! Clearly, didn't want my business. Also, the rock chip was sooo little. Literally as small as the period punctuation mark at the end of this sentence. We ended up getting our windshield fix elsewhere, found out the molding and seals around the windshield wasn't replaced, however they are suppose to be a one time use product per Lexus. So pretty much everything Joe's did was cheaply done so they were not surprised it cracked again on us. Wasted our money here for an after market windshield and poor work. The owners response to me and others is absolutely astonishing. I can't believe a business owner would respond to customers the way he does. Take your time to read his response to people on here. Called and spoke with Joe, who, although cordial, said he found me on the schedule but wasn't sure what had happened. Thoroughly, deeply incompetent business. (Let the saga begin.) I reached-out to Joe's Glass Company after a suddenly terrible afternoon. (Somebody smashed my passenger window and stole some things, a day before I had planned to drive from Everett, WA to Elk Grove, CA.) On the web inquiry page I asked about replacing my shattered passenger window as soon as possible. Inconveniently for me, this was after closing. Fortunately, he next morning, I was contacted by Joe's Glass Co., and after a few clarifying texts and phone call, I was scheduled that afternoon for a new window - great! Now the fun begins. Even though I had just driven there and it's not legal to drive without a windshield (one might expect an auto glass company to know this), and even though I had written what was broken on the contact form, and even though I had discussed exactly what glass needed replacing with the representative, Joe's Glass had me down for windshield replacement. The glass I needed *was* available, in the warehouse. They sent for it immediately, of course, I just had to wait. Waiting an extra hour or two or three was better than driving 870+ miles without a passenger window, so I waited. While waiting, I asked and was assured that the door would be cleaned-out of the remaining shattered glass and bits and pieces, and everything would be put right. As it should be, I thought. Eventually my car is ready. At this point, I've already been there over three hours, so I'm quite ready to go home. Window is there, so I'm off. It was foolish of me not to try to open the passenger door. The passenger door did not open much anymore. It did, but now you had to kinda ease it open a bit, close it some, open a bit more - kinda work it open. Wat? Like every other door in an even vaguely recent car (mine is a 2007), the door panel is held in place by plastic panel retention clips (and a couple of screws). When you remove the door panel, you also need to remove the clips that didn't pop-out, and re-insert them on the door panel so they can pop-in to the holes on the door frame (I've done this myself many times). Joe's Glass did NOT do this. It seems they just left the clips in the door if they didn't pop-out with the panel when they removed it. As such, the door panel was OBVIOUSLY not correctly positioned. Just one attempt at opening the door (maybe as part of checking one's work, or just moving around the shop) made that abundantly clear. It seems that the folks at Joe's do not inspect their work very well (if at all). Perhaps they hurried as I had been there for hours, I dunno. But fast, crappy work is still not acceptable work. And it gets better. After I got back from CA and had the time and tools to correct what Joe's Glass had flocked-up, I was very mildly surprised to find plenty of shattered glass inside the door. I also found one of the window retention clips that was adhered to the prior window (it is not a small object). At least they didn't try to force-fit a windshield where the passenger window goes. So, in the end, Joe's Glass was quick to contact me and setup an appointment, which was great. That there was any confusion about what needed to be done is amazing (it was in writing, and it's their job to understand and track what needs to be done). That the work done was such total crap is, um, problematic. That there was still plenty of shattered glass inside my door, when I was informed they would vacuum and clean-out any remaining glass, does not speak well of the establishment. For almost 260, I had hoped for something approaching the neighborhood of competence. I did not find it. read more

Next day appointment, job done under estimated time, everything was reassembled properly and at a much lower price than the competition. Our car was leaking water from the roof and side passenger roof area. As you can imagine living here in WA, that's a huge concern. We were able to get an appointment scheduled quickly for a water diagnostic. They gave us the price for that straight away so we knew what to expect going in. (Which I really appreciate). I was very impressed that it only took them 40 min total to do the diagnostic, identify the problem and fix it. Safelite gave me an appointment 3 weeks out. I was despondent. Magic Toyota Edmonds referred me to Joe's Glass Co. Worst service I got for my glassdoor, my real state agent was concerned about the time line for the glassdoor to be ready And this place said it would be ready by Thursday or Friday july 6th and then after it was ready they would call me. Friday came, I never got a call back and when I called to see what was going on the person who answer was very roude saying that now I can only pick it up on Monday of next week july 9th Im a general contractor that deals with many business and this one just lost my business forever. I have had two windshields replaced by Joe's. One on an A6 Audi and one on a 2012 GMC. The Audi got replaced first. They fit me in same day and drove out to me to fix it. Unfortunately, the Window cracked the next day. I called the shop and they acknowledged some windows are defective . They told me to come in and confirmed the defect and immediately replaced the windshield. Total professionals. I took my Yukon in a few months later. I called and they scheduled a same day appointment. Much better than I can say for Safelite. They had a two week wait. Replaced it and no leaks or any issues. I do have to mention that they proactively cleaned off some asphalt residue on my Audi driver side door . And then offered to fix my front headlight on the Yukon. It had water condensation due to a faulty dealer seal in the headlights. They got the water out and told me what I needed to do to fix it. Definitely exceeded expectations. The guys in the shop are direct and to the point. But if you respond in kind, they get done what needs to get done. They are busy so I understand their need to get things done with no B.S. . After taking my car to the dealership for some service including reattaching my rear view mirror that came lose. The dealership recommended I see glass company to glue my mirror back. I called around to Joe's and they said they could do that for me same day. I arrived and they reattached my mirror in like 20 mins. Price was fair, I was in and out in no time. Will see if the mirror stays up, if not Joe said to bring it back and he would fix it for free. Great service!!! I had the pleasure of visiting Joe's Glass Company in Everett on two separate occasions. I had a crack in the windshield of my 2017 Subaru Impreza and it was going to cost me about $300 to repair. I made an appointment and went over to Joe's Glass to find that the part they had ordered was not the correct part. They sent me home to come back a week later once they had the right part. Of course, they apologized for the error and adjusted my estimate for the inconvenience which was appreciated. I show up a week later and this time, they have the correct part number only to realize that it does not fit my car. Then they tell me that they would need to purchase an OEM part from the manufacturer and it would cost $1000, and so on. They drill a hole at the end of the crack to prevent it from spreading and charge me about $30 for just this temporary fix (that took them less than 10 min, btw). Months later, I get into a collision and I take my car to Greenwood Collision Center for the body work. At Greenwood Collision, they say they can replace my windshield for $400 flat. Considering what Joe's Glass had told me months before, I call them up to see if it is possible to replace my windshield for only $400. Joe gets on the phone with me and says that the OEM part alone is about $500 and that with the installation, etc it is going to cost around $900 to fix. He also tells me how chances are that Greenwood Collision's glass vendor is Evergreen Glass and Evergreen would not have the OEM part that my car absolutely requires. Then Joe says, he will cut me a deal for $675 + tax on the replacement windshield and boasts about how it is the best deal I can get. I tell him I will let him know what I decide. I call Greenwood Collision Center and ask, "Are you sure the windshield that is going to cost $400 flat will actually fit my car?? Because I talked to Joe's Glass and they said that the OEM part ALONE is about $500 and that this car requires the OEM part and no other parts will fit." Greenwood Collision Center lets me know that yep, it's $400 flat and they have already replaced the windshield. I would not recommend Joe's Glass for windshield replacements. Their other specialties, I cannot comment on...but certainly not the place I would recommend to get a windshield replaced and as you will see with most of the 1-star reviews, they are concerning windshield replacements. So again, not the place to go for a windshield replacement but you may have better luck with other glass repairs. read more

I spoke with Joe about the replacement of my windshield few times and i repeatedly asked him if he can cover my 100.00 deductible. He said he will and even put the logo in the windshield because it's not OEM glass. He said he's got more room to negotiate with my insurance if it's non OEM glass and he said insurance will not approve the OEM glass because my car is from 2014. So, i agreed to do the non OEM, only because he said i do not have to pay for the $100.00. I have other auto glass insurance was willing to save me $50.00 for my deductible. So, when he said he can cover my 100.00 deductible, so of course i would take his offer. I wasn't feeling good to bring my car today 7/3/20, so i called Joe's that my husband will be bringing the car instead of me. I asked again to make sure that my husband do not get charge the deductible because that's what he said to me. My husband said that Joe took the car when he got there without saying anything about any issue and replaced the windshield. When the windshield was installed, Joe told my husband that he needed to pay the $100.00 for the deductible. My husband said that you need to talk to my wife because you already told her that we don't need to be charged for the deductible. He admitted to my husband that he said that I did not need to pay the $100.00 deductible, but he said that he didn't know that it will cost more to do this windshield. So, he went and charged our card $100.00 anyway. Joe has told me few times that he will not charge me the $100.00 for deductible, but he completed and installed the windshield and demanded to pay him for the $100.00 deductible and charged my card. This company Joe's Auto Glass should have honored his word of not charging me because that's what he said to me-bait and switch. Can't believe that he didn't ask me before he can do any work for my windshield, if he did, we would have gone to the other auto glass company instead who is honest. I will never refer this company to anybody-they did not honor what they promised me. read more

Its been over 3 months now. Just wanted to see if my windshield leaked before the review. And it has not leaked. Called around to get quotes for about a year and to get the windshield that was rated to O.E.M. to mine. I told all glass companies after they started to call me back within a week to stop calling me I will make my decision up soon. Joes stopped calling me along with half the others. Joes was the lowest price with the glass I was looking for. So I set an appointment and when I arrived they got right on the job.
