I took my vehicle here for windshield repair. That part seems to be installed properly. However, my car has got new scratches that is very difficult to remove due to lady cleaning my car when it wasn't required or requested. This place is a windshield repair shop NOT a detail shop. She decided to clean the side door railing along the driver and passengers side. I saw her do it and then step out to request that she stop. She also decided to clean my windshield wipers vigorously and damage the wipers blade and mechanism. Her job is to calibrate cameras and that is it! Not to clean my car! She doesn't know that dirt can scratch paint surfaces while using dirty rag and a spray cleaner. The multiple scratches are deep and thought the clear-coat. I see it all the time when I open and close the doors. I know she did it. But I'm not taking my car back there again. They probably deny they cause the scratch damage. ALWAYS VIDEO BEFOEE AND AFTER taking your car in for any service. I have the before and after while at the shop. So I know she did it! But nothing I can do at this point except just see it all the time to remind myself how stupid this lady was to clean my car unnecessarily and causing this permanent damage to side railing of my drivers side and passenger side. Also damaged the windshield blade and mechanism. read more

I got bids from at least half a dozen places, and CTAG easily had the best price. Combined with lots of positive reviews both on and off Yelp, this made them the clear #1 pick. Thankfully, the crack wasn't growing so we were able to wait the 3 weeks until they had an open appointment. They called and emailed the day before to make sure we remembered, and let us know that we could be early if that made things any easier for us. They knew who we were and remembered our names when we walked in. A few hours later, they called to let us know the car was ready to pick up any time. They're next to a collision center, which probably also explains why they're so busy. They're right on 99, so getting in and out of their 3-4 parking spots can be time-consuming when there's lots of traffic, but that's a non-issue when you're getting the best price on competent work from people you're happy to support. read more

Our windshield was on a back order from Toyota for over 6 months but when it finally became available, the team at Car Tech got us in rapidly. We drove up from Tacoma because I've known the ownership for about 25 years. Haffo and the crew took great care of us and made sure all our cameras were calibrated so that all the fancy lane departure items etc functioned as designed. As you know, it is a drag to get a stupid rock chip that turns in to a giant windshield crack. If there was any business that made the experience tolerable it would be Car Tech on Hwy 99! Because I only have the one car and live alone, it was so hard to get my car in for the windshield replacement. The gals in the office were so nice and patient as I rescheduled my appointments multiple times! And when I finally got in there they greeted me so warmly. The waiting room was nice. It didn't stink like burned coffee and rancid popcorn. They even loaned me a charger adapter while I waited. Their work is impeccable and I felt comfortable that I could bring my car back if I had any questions or concerns about the new windshield. Car Tech is a wonderful auto glass shop. I unfortunately got a rock chip in a construction zone and I called them to get advice at first. Then when I went through my insurance it was high on their list of providers that do good work. In addition my dealership also recommended me so it was no brainer to go with them. Since my windshield was on backorder it took about a month and half until I had my appointment but that's because of the state of our shipping industry right now. Morning of I dropped off my car and Kevin took a look and was kind enough to walk through the replacement process. Then later in the afternoon I got an email and call that my car was ready for pickup with all the available calibration and receipt documents so I could have on hand. We bary had our Hydai SUV for 4 months and a damn pebble smacked and cracked the windshield. Such a pain in the ass, but I was so happy with the service and the timely manner in how they dealt with tje issue. I was able to drop off the car before my shift at work and was able to pick it up the same day with a certified windshield by the dealership. It was a Hydai replacement glass and had all my sensors all re set. The whole process was seamless, fast and it has been 2 months already and It still seems like a brand new piece of glass. I came in on a whim hoping to have a chip in my windshield repaired the same day it happened. I originally scheduled with Safelite (ugh), and they couldn't get me in until a week later. I didn't have high hopes that a place could get me in same day, no appointment, and not even so much as a call ahead. But! I was so pleasantly surprised! I walked in and Kevin was SO nice and friendly and said he'd get to work on it right away. He was already swamped and working on other cars, but still started my windshield to get me taken care of. He explained the process clearly and the office girl was super helpful with processing the claim through my insurance company. My car was leaking water and it was causing all kinds of electrical problems. I thought it was possibly related to a recent windshield replacement conducted by this shop. I brought it in for them to take a look. They quickly diagnosed that two metal panels had separated slightly, sealed it and gave me great tips for drying the car. Doggone. Just got a rock chip in our windshield. We tried the usual big-name shops and when you call them, it goes to some phone bank where appointments are made from some corporate office that is out of state. It was 3 pm on a Friday. We wanted this done ASAP so the windshield didn't crack more. We could not call the local corporate businesses directly. We had to make appointments on their 800 numbers. So we instead DROVE to these shops. They couldn't help us. I then found CAR TECH and their 5 star rating. It was now 4 pm on a Friday and we figured we'd probably be out of luck. We were able to call CAR TECH directly and they said we could drive in and they'd fix it for us. They waited 25 minutes for us to show up at about 4:30. Kevin was the guy who fixed the windshield. It was perfect. They waited for us and worked past closing to take care of us. The girls in the office were so friendly and Kevin was awesome. These guys are amazing! I had a 3-4 inch crack on my windshield and they did an awesome job fixing it. I was really concern that it couldn't be fixed since it was a crack vs a chip. I first went to a business that had done a great job fixing a rock chip from years ago. The guy looked at the windshield for a second and was told it needed to be completely replaced. I was quoted $900+ for a factory windshield and $400+ for a non factory windshield. Talk about sticker shock. I decided to go to Car Tech since I had also been there before and they too did an excellent job. The guy working there looked at it, asked me how long the crack had been there (a week) and told me that he could fix it. He told me it would take about 30+ minutes. They were able to schedule me quickly and they did an AWESOME job! You can't even tell the crack was there. How much was the fix? $66. Yes, from a $900 fix at one place to $66 at Car Tech! Customer service was top notch. I didn't get the lady's name that worked at the front desk, but she was so nice and helpful. All in all, a great experience! I just went in for my third chip repair. This last one was difficult because the chip was near the edge of the glass. There was a danger that it could have cracked even more because the glass curved. I was very impressed with their work. It barely looked like the glass was chipped in the first place!!!!! Made an appointment a week ahead for a windshield replacement I live 80 miles round trip from the shops location when I arrived to leave my car and my mother who drove a distance to have me picked up having to be told that they made a mistake and didn't order my windshield. Of course upset they scheduled me two weeks later to come in. Three days before my new scheduled date they called me right before they closed to say the glass shattered and they can't get a new one for the same appointment. Now a day before my scheduled service they are telling me they have a windshield yet calling me way after hours at 8:00 pm where I'm with my family and it's a Sunday. I find this place very unprofessional and disrespectful especially them stating it's there fault through all of this madness and miles/time wasted on my end with no compensation for the mistakes made. They have had two weeks to order a windshield which only takes three days to be ordered and delivered which was told to me and for them to call me three days before my appointment and say it's shattered and they can't take me in is so Unorganized.
