Anyone who knows me knows Red tomato sauce or gravy as many of my Italian friends would call it, isn't my favorite. Happy and glad to report I found a freshly made red tomato sauce that my tastebuds and stomach can handle. It wasn't overly spiced or thickened with various meats/vegetables/bread which typically shys me away from it. It was mentioned that I was getting one of the last containers for the day that had a meatball and sausage in it, but not chopped or sliced up, so that worked for me as it could be taken out and eaten separately. (The meatball was pretty tasty ;) I would recommend giving this location a try for anyone with a finicky red sauce eater like me. Not to mention their stuffed shells were indeed on point. ;) I look forward to popping in again and seeing what else I can try, as the employees behind the counter were kind and quick about servicing us and location appeared kept neat and clean.

I had them make it on an Italian sesame hero roll I got from their bread display. Well,,,They forgot the cheese and soaked the beautiful Italian hero bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Now, when I tell a deli person I want oil and vinegar, I have never gotten balsamic. You might agree with me it is supposed to be red wine vinegar instead. The balsamic ruined it for me. So, they did shave the meats but no provolone at all. I had to deconstruct the sandwich as to not waste a 21 dollar sandwich. Overall the store has many display cases with one case that looked like a storage place for dirty utensils, not a good look. They do have a wide variety or beverages to choose from. I will return to Fratelli's for another try to see if I can get what I ask for.

The bakery section is also dangerous, everything from the cookies to the fresh bread is always fresh. You can easily walk in here just looking for a loaf of bread and leave spending eighty bucks on stuff you didn't know you needed. The only reason I'm knocking off a star is because the shopping experience itself can be a total headache. If you come here on a weekend morning or anywhere near a holiday, the parking lot is a disaster and the aisles are a contact sport. It gets packed and people just park their carts right in the middle of the walkways. Prices are definitely higher than your standard supermarket too, but the food quality makes it worth the hassle for a weekend treat.
