This could not have gone better! From the very first moment, the entire experience went so much better than any other move I have ever done. First, upon contacting them, the person I spoke with was polite, professional, personable and knowledgeable. They clearly communicated everything I wanted to know and let me know how to use the links to upload photos and video for them to create their estimate. Once they did, they sent me the estimate, which was more reasonable than any others I had received. And they called to confirm I received it and ask if anything was not included in the inventory of the items to be moved. I added one thing I had forgotten and they adjusted it by a tiny amount. And they made sure I understood the minimum amount and that, should it take longer than expected, what the maximum would be, which was still very reasonable! Once I decided to choose them, their professional staff communicated with me at each step along the way, confirming dates and times were set, and making sure I knew what would be included and what to expect on the day of the move. They even called me, just to let me know that the employee who had done my original intake have moved to another job and introduce me to who would be handling my details going forward. As the move approached, I got a reminder message a week out, another as the deadline approached to add any last-minute items, and a phone call 3 days prior to make sure everything was all lined up and ready. On the morning of, I got another text letting me know that the movers were 45 minutes from arrival, which put them exactly on time...and that is precisely when they arrived! Paco and Jerry were our movers that day and were terrific - professional, helpful, careful and absolutely delightful people! Upon arrival, I met them both and we did a walk-through to make sure they knew exactly what needed to be moved and what was staying. Paco took me through and made sure if I had any questions as I signed the final paperwork. As I started that, Jerry immediately got to work...and he was FAST! By the time I walked in things were already getting securely and carefully wrapped and ready. Paco joined him and they completed it in record time, even making sure to organize things into the order they wanted to move them off at our destination. I headed to our delivery location for final preparation. And they were there before I knew it! They sent a text when they left the pick up location to give me their ETA, so I could be ready. When they arrived, once again, a brief walk through to confirm where things were to go. And then they started moving at light-speed again! They were fast...and STRONG. I couldn't believe how easily they moved some of the items. But they were incredibly careful and considerate as well. I had no concerns at all about any damage to items or my home. They finished right on time. After double checking, everything was in pristine condition, like it had never been touched! Clean and safe. As they finished on time, we did final signatures and they confirmed that there would not be any need for an increase over the minimum amount we agreed to. If you read this far, I am guessing I don't have to tell you, but I HIGHLY recommend this company and will most definitely be turning to them if I ever am moving anything anywhere again! I used All Star Movers & Storage (All Star) for a second time due to their "all star" service the first time I used them when I was moving to Livermore. So, when the wife and I decided to move to Las Vegas, I didn't think twice before calling All Star. Didn't even Yelp for other movers. Cheryl was great in setting up the estimate and appointment date. Moving out of state isn't easy, but she made the setup process easy. This time the moving crew was Uriel, Chris and Hector. Uriel was very experienced and would be the driver driving the truck to Vegas. The crew were able to get all my stuff loaded. The next day Uriel and the local Vegas crew out of Henderson of Fred and Lalo arrived earlier than anticipated. Now these Henderson guys are built differently and were super pros. When I saw Fred I was worried because he is not the biggest guy. But never judge a book by its cover because dude was built tough! Uriel and the Henderson crew were able to get everything unloaded in less than 3 hours. Lalo had a process of moving boxes that was impressive. Despite the 530 mile journey our stuff had to make, nothing arrived broken. The only thing broken was just the state we left lol. read more

Moving is usually exhausting and a drag. All Star (Charlie and Fred) made it into a more simple and seamless experience. 1 They were great listeners and wanted to insure that they would do the job properly. 2 They were incredibly careful with the furniture and other objects. 3 They took their time so no mistakes were made. 4 They were very personable giving us a sense that we could relax as they knew what to do. Day of the move I had Dustin and one more from his crew (sorry, I forgot his name) arrive on-time which was a pleasant surprise as I know a lot of movers tend to run later than the expected time frame. When you hire movers, you have to consider more than just people to take items from one place to another. You have to trust them with possessions you are attached to, feel comfortable with them in your home, and like them because, let's be honest, moving takes a looooong time and can be grueling. You have to work with them from the time you schedule to the entire move, like directing them where furniture and boxes go in your new home. All Star had great communication leading up to the move day (ie, printed estimate and confirmation the day before), the movers were reliable, arrived on-time, worked hard and fast AND CAREFULLY, and were nice guys.
