Jeff was lovely!! Everyone was very helpful here. Everyone there is super helpful! Great atmosphere and the place is very clean and aesthetically pleasing! First time here and I loved it. Chicken tasted nice and fresh

    Raw pizza!

The Pizza I was served this evening was under cooked and so salty. TOO MUCH SALT EVERYWHERE YOU GO!!! If you have to use tons of salt you can't cook. Period! See pic.

Tossed Salad was delicious with the peppers and cheese

With a name like Joe's, I knew it would have to be pretty good. I was right, although there is some room for improvement. The soup was HOT! Yes!!! I ordered the chicken noodle soup as it was a chilly night and the small was a nice portion. She did warn me the large was a quart (so I'm not sure why she asked what size). The salad was pretty good! The lettuce was iceberg and it came topped with pizza cheese, delicious red peppers and cherry tomatoes. It kind of reminded me of the Family Guy salad at a Pizza Restaurant clip. But it was yummy and fresh! The Baked Pasta Platter was hit and miss. First, I think it was supposed to come with Lasagna, but I didn't remember. I had stuffed shells, stuffed rigatoni, a manicotti and cheese ravioli. It was a lot of cheese and each had its own unique filling. The manicotti was a bit dry but the stuffed shells were some of the best I ever had. It was a mixed bag, which is why trying a sampler is a good idea for a first timer. They also had a sampler of eggplant, veal and chicken parm which is probably what I'd get if I came back. I also ordered a side of meatballs which were good. A little dense but not dry and had a good flavor. I definitely got too much food and probably would have been full with just the dinner (which came with the salad). I was there between 7 and 8 on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy. There were people dining in and ordering at the counter to take out and sitting around the bar too. It was close to the ISP airport and convenient to the hotel at which I was staying. I'm glad I chose it

Two margherita slices and garlic knots.

Joe's looks like your typical Long Island pizzeria, but it's so much more. The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside, so you can enjoy a good Italian meal in a clean, spacious environment, or take a slice to go from the counter. I remember going to Joe's as a teenager, and it was delicious. It still is! I recently got takeout after not stopping in for years, and the margherita pizza and garlic knots were perfection. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Ordered Veal culet they deep fried it came out like a brick also the chicken hero was under cooked and falling apart. Pizza was also burnt . Not going to Joe's anymore.

    Wine down Wednesday!

You don't have to chose the $60 AYCE option, but I do think you get great value if you do AYCE compared to the packages that aren't. You get a dry erase marker and make your selections on the menu. I was impressed by the wide variety of options from soups like clam chowder to lobster rolls to vegetables to salads to the seafood options. I ended up trying scallops, corn, Dungeness crab, king crab legs, broccoli. I also tried both the house blend and the garlic butter sauces. To be honest, the butter was overpowering in both sauces so next time I would just try the original Cajun sauce. The portion of food you get and the quality is great! Decent amount of lobster in the lobster roll, and good amount of meat in the shellfish. I also love that they had the Knicks vs Cavs game playing. It's also cute that they change the song to a happy birthday song when they're celebrating someone's birthday. It's definitely a more casual ambiance but fun for celebrating birthdays. I also appreciate that they supply plenty of gloves, crackers, as well as bibs. It'll def be a messy eating experience! The only piece of feedback I'd say is we didn't get any refills on our waters during our meal, nor did we get a beverage we ordered, but otherwise our server was very friendly.

The service is excellent. The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed our meals immensely. On Sunday, I had the delicious fried chicken salad and a side of chips which I devoured. My wife had the pan seared salmon which she absolutely loved! In fact, we're looking forward to our next visit to one of our favorite new dining spots! PS they take reservations!

Off the bat, I won't lie I got some "Applebee's" type feelings from the place, but I wasn't going to pass judgment on a place simply by how it looks, my mother taught me better! But granted you could probably argue that for a lot of American bistro style restaurants that try to have that hometown local feel to it with all the stuff hanging on the walls. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, our server especially, Alexa, really felt like she was going out her way to check in on us and how everything was which did feel nice. For food we started with the spinach artichoke dip, a classic and this one was just as good as I've had anywhere, but most importantly they give you plenty of chips! For entrees, I went with the Philly cheesesteak and my girlfriend went with the brisket French dip with mozzarella cheese. Both were delicious but I think my girlfriend beat me this time with her choice! The choice of brisket over a typical roast beef is an interesting one for a French dip, but I do love a good brisket and this one was certainly tasty. The Philly wasn't you're traditional cheesesteak either, but it scratched my itch (but do be warned that thing comes out HOT!). Both came with a deceivingly large basket of fries that were fresh and crispy and a nice salty to compliment to our sandwiches. I really enjoyed trying this one and they had a bunch of interesting specials that I contemplated trying too, which makes me eager to come back again and see what other new tasty options they might have in store!

It took almost 30 minutes just to have our order taken, another 30 minutes for soup, another 30 minutes for the calamari appetizer, and yet another 30 minutes for our main dish, which was just a lobster roll. What should have been a simple meal turned into an unnecessarily long and frustrating wait. What made it worse was that our waitress didn't seem apologetic at all about how long everything was taking. In fact, she appeared much more attentive to the table next to us, who she seemed to know personally, while we were left waiting most of the time. To add to that, the water we asked for never even arrived. The experience ended on an uncomfortable note when we went to pay. Our card was flagged for possible fraud (likely because we're not from the area). While my husband was already pulling out cash to pay, a man wearing a beanie and chef jacket stood there in a pushy manner insisting we call the bank immediately while he waited. Between the extremely slow service, lack of attentiveness, and the uncomfortable payment interaction, the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. Save yourself the trip and the time -- we should have listened to the reviews before making the drive.
