Where to start... ordered a pizza and realized I didn't specify no onion so went back in and immediately said I'm sorry totally my fault I didn't specify no onion and ask if they could make another one without it. The employees are always very nice and quick. Prices are amazing and pizza taste pretty good for the area. My biggest complaint is there is a good bit of grease on the pizza which is easy to just dab away. The garlic knots are also really good and fluffy so grab some of those. read more

One bartender walked in front of me a couple of times, purposely avoiding eye contact with me, so another person had to help me once she eventually saw me. Overall, I would return for the games and bowling, but the service and food were subpar. Maybe there is a reason why this place wasn't packed on a Friday evening.

IF THIS PLACE COULD GET 0 STARS I WOULD. This place is terrible. No one wants to help you at all . Johnny whose the manager is full of himself when I informed him about my concern he said the food taste just fine to him. The spaghetti and meatball and meat sauce all was so bland. Def not anything close to Italian. Then I. called to get the owners name or whoever is over Johhny( Manager) and Steve tells me Mam I can't help you. So first of all the looks of this is this business do not care about the customers all they care ABOUT IS GETTING YOUR MONEY!! I didnt even want a refund all I wanted was to bring this nasty food back to them and to replace it with something around the same price for something else. This place is disgusting and no to mention Johnny told Me to tell me and My husband to Fuck off and he will not refund or give my money back and said that my husband had already called and complained about wait time, which absolutely not he had me mixed up with obviously another unsatisfied customer and told me I should have chose another place if I didn't like their food. Im visiting from California had I known this was the result in receiving bland food id never spent my money with them. Just moved to this part of DFW, and looking to check out the local pizza landscape. Joe's is the closest pizza place to the house, so it got first whirl. Got a house salad and a 2-topping pizza made to order. The salad was very good. Fresh ingredients, generously portioned. The house tomato vinaigrette had an enjoyable tangy flavor which enhanced the overall taste well. This was the highlight of the meal. The pizza was okay. Standard, alright, fair. Specifics: --thicker than one would expect for classic New York style. I like thicker crust, yet for branding pizza as NY style it makes sense to align with...NY style pizza. :-) --proportionally more cheese and less sauce than upper tier NY style pizza --the ratio of cheese to sauce and ingredients prompted the ingredients' flavor to be diminished These factors are what made the pizza simply fair instead of memorable. 4 and 5 star pizza ratios the cheese and sauce to where the ingredients are center stage. Though Joe's pizza is definitely palatable, it wasn't quite to the level of wanting to go back before trying other pizza places in the area. I will definitely be back for their salad, though. Their salad is up in the 4-5 star range. :-) read more

Great place to eat if you like mediocre food; bad service and full service restaurant prices. Two of my family members had basic pasta dishes; cheese ravioli and fettuccine alfredo, the other pizza and I had a philly steak sandwich. The ravioli was over killed with too much cheese, the fettuccine completely taste less, the pizza was as good as any other non-chain pizza shop and the sandwich was just eatable. There is no dine-in service as it is a self-served, pre-paid place; they just bring you the food to the table. We ended with 4 take home boxes that eventually found the trash can. So why I didn't complaint while I was there? Simple. You can't tell who works there as none of the employees have any type of id or form to recognize them as employees. Second, the only employees I could identified were the cooks and a couple of counter clerks with such a mean look that they treat you like they are doing you a favor. Third, upon sitting down at the table I haved already decided I was not coming back to that place. The bill was $47.00; and yes, they expect a tip even when there's no service what so erver. I just can understand why a place like this still open for business. read more

While the food here is decent, the owner is a total jerk. He treats his employees like 3rd class citizens. He pays them less than a fair wage and doesn't comply with ANY state OSHA regulations or TX Workforce Commission laws. No taxes are taken out, no breaks are given and there's no accurate account of hours worked. My daughter was called a half brain idiot, dumb, stupid, illiterate, and countless other names. She was never paid for her last week of work because she was too upset and embarrassed to go in and get it. They wouldn't mail it or send it home with my son who also worked there. Speaking of my son, he was worked like a dog under the same hostile work environment but it just didn't upset him like it did her. He had to call in on a Friday because he had been home sick for 2 days, so they fired him. They can't keep help because of the way they treat people and that's why they are always hiring. I won't spend another dime of my money there, and strongly encourage you to do the same. read more

I had a great experience here! The pizza was delicious--fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. I especially loved the chicken wings; they were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned perfectly. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food. The service was also impressive--quick, friendly, and efficient. 1 star is far to generous. First off who takes an hour to cook pizza. The pizza they serve looks like it has been sitting there for days. Wanted to cancel my order but the refused and were quite rude. I wouldn't feed the food to a homeless person out of fear they would get sick and possibly be hospitalized. You don't have to travel to NYC to have a great pie. You have to give these folks a try. I have seen Joes Restaurants all over the Metroplex, never really thought about stopping by. I was in the neighborhood yesterday for lunch and I'm glad I did. The sauce on my cheese pizza was incredible. I can usually count on Heartburn after pizza but not this time. Eating at joes is always a pleasure. Friendly staff and great good. My favorites are the veal parmisian, huge portion ,tender and the sauce is to die for. Today I took my family here the first time and we made an agreement to come once a month. I live about 50 mins away, but I've heard the food and hospitality are top notch. They did not fail! I was driving down Eldorado and saw the sign for the specials and thought I would drop in. Really I was surprised as this joint reminded me of the places I used to visit when I was in NJ. Its really hard to find meatballs that someone hasn't messed by trying to make them fancy or special. Good food and I will be back. read more
