I wouldn't recommend anyone to order from here! I got fried wings and fries and they were burnt. The fries were so crunchy it was inedible and my wings were dry and hard. My boyfriend got barbecue chicken pizza and it was more on the average. I know good food and this place isn't. Also if your thinking about delivery don't bother. They took over an hour to deliver my food and it was cold. Also I found out that they got a 65 on their inspection on February of 2019. Yuck! read more

I order from here all the time. I can't believe it has taken me this long to give them the 5* review they deserve. This place can be counted on to provide top quality food and service. Pasta diner portions are big enough to split, Sandwiches are the the bomb( I recommend Joes Italian Combo) and some of the best pies you are going to get outside the city. I truly wish I could give a better rating. Their customer service and accuracy of ANY order I have ever put in has a lot of room for improvement. And I've tried repeatedly to give 'another chance'. My experience with their actual food has been much better than my experience with their problem solving. This last time being the worst. Got home, discovered the order was incorrect (again), called to see what could be done and was told to come back (over a 10 min drive). I took a group of my guys to Joes for some real Italian pizza. We were visiting from Atlanta and hoped to find some better pizza than we were used to. We were blown away by the incredible food joes offered. We ate like kings. The entire experience was awesome. John the owner welcomed us all in close to closing time without hesitation not only did he welcome us he said to make ourselves comfortable and take our time eating he would keep the place open until we finished. We ordered a works pizza and spicy bbq wings. Both were very good. The dough on the pizza was nice and soft, I normally don't eat the crust but made a exception this time. We'll definitely be returning to this place. read more

Here for a weekend convention and the hotel barely had a menu so I got take out from here...I got hot wings, Italian hoagie and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was great! The hoagie was full and the bread was soft. The pizza was cheesy and saucy. The wings though, were absolutely fantastic. Crispy, big, and so drenched in sauce that I had a pool of spicy goodness to dip my pizza in after I devoured the wings. Newburgh is my new JW Convention stop, so I'll be coming back to this place every time. Staff was really polite too. read more

Very rude especially the manager they lie and do not take accountability for their actions I ordered a large pie wings garlic knots and a drink , my food came an our late and I was giving them the benefit of the doubt due to it being a Saturday night . My pizza was freezing cold my garlic knots rock hard and my wings cold like they have been sitting in the fridge I then noticed my drink wasn't here and I was just going to heat up my food when they came back with my drink when i got my drink it was so hot I ordered a 2 liter soda why was it hot? So I called for a refund and the manager was cursing and told me to never call back they are so rude I would not recommend! read more

The subs here are amazing. If you like roast beef you HAVE to try the Brooklyn Bridge sub. I also tried the sausage and peppers marinara sub. DELICIOUS! Delivery is fast too. We will definitely be ordering from here on a frequent basis. It isn't too expensive either. read more

You make my favorite pizza around here but not delivering 2.5 miles away saying it's "too far" is bull, especially when you've delivered to my home before on several occasions. When I want pizza 7:30 at night I will not go and pick it up. I was going to spend a lot of money that night because people were hungry, however I was right off the bat told you wouldn't deliver even before I placed my order. Not cool. read more

Newburgh is not in shortage of pizza joints. But its pretty hard to find one that are good, and dont taste like warm cardboard box with tomato paste smeared on them. Joes in my opinion, stand above the rest. I have been coming here for years for lunch or dinner on the go, i will probably continue to do so for years. read more

Wasn't very impressed with the staff. I came in for a pound of deli meat and asked about the honey ham, honey roasted turkey and the pepper mill turkey which they were all out of stock of. No big deal, deliveries are messed up, not his fault. But he seemed to get progressively more annoyed with me as I tried to find something he did have in stock. Him referring to me as kid didn't really help the situation out either. The rest of the staff was arguing in the background the whole time. The cook was mad at the waitress for having two food tickets at one time (which is wildly not a lot of tickets), and then she is giving it right back to him saying he should help her out more when the phone rings. Maybe I caught them on a bad night. The classic turkey that I finally went with is of great quality, but I don't see myself returning. I wasn't a fan of being talked down to, and don't need an unprofessional staff helping me. read more

It doesn't matter what you order it's going to be good their pizza is very good and some days even better than that.their deli sandwichs are really really good and the stag. Makes you feel at home. They do deliver and I would say the only issue is the girl who answers in the evening is a bit lost. Screws up my orders often unless I am clear and concise and I review my order with her. read more

Great corner pizza shop. I love their chef salad with extra chicken and French dressing. It's a local family business and they really know their customers. I'm a huge fan of their pineapple pizza and their Marilyn Monroe Sub. If you get the sub ask for no oil. read more

Joe's is always our first stop for pizza or sandwiches. My family eats here at least once a week. The pizza's are delicious and the specialty pies are loaded with toppings. We especially love the hot & spicy and hamburger pizzas. Their subs are great too...real meats (Boars Head) with your choice of bread and tons of toppings. Their half sub is bigger than the footlongs served at the chain place (and less expensive too!). So Joe's is now our go-to place for amazing sandwhichs, pizza, garlic knots, wings, etc. We have probably ordered from them 10 or more times over this past summer and weren't disappointed once. All of the cold cuts are super fresh on great bread and their hot and cold sandwhich menu is huge! The pizza is consistent and tasty. The wings are super-huge. The calzones are terrific. The manicotti is fantastic - a huge portion. The side salad is also huge and very fresh. Admittedly it takes a while to get our order every time as we do order a lot of items and they are very busy but we don't mind as their food is fantastic. read more

Between the time I placed my order and the time it was ready I was able to download, register and compose this review on yelp. All I ordered was a sub and a slice! The sub came out sloppily put together and missing half of the things I asked for on it and the pizza was cold. Lucky for Joe's they are usually decent. Clearly the key is not to go during any kind of peak time as they are understaffed for the business and don't care about getting it right. read more

A great example of a good restaurant steadily going down hill. The food is just above average but the service is very poor. Thieves....... I ordered a large calzone with bacon and meatball. I was told $12.... Showed up to pick it up........ $26.50.... FRIGGIN WHAT? A month ago I ordered the same calzone with mozzarella sticks for less than that DELIVERED. Regardless, I was shocked at the price. I questioned the delivery guy then.. This time I called, obviously upset with the situation and was treated with utter, total, and complete disrespect.(My girlfriend told me the price she was told on the phone after I got home) I wouldn't go in there again even to use the bathroom in a complete emergency! I wish I could give them zero stars. I've been ordering from them for the last 7 years without much problem. The food is crappy but it's pizza and my boys aren't that picky when it comes to pizza. Today, however, I ordered food and they charged my card. 30 minuets later, they said they won't deliver my food. I told them that they've delivered to us for the last seven years and this is the first time we've had an issue. We're within their delivery radius and my son had a sleepover. I asked to speak to a manager and they said he was in the bathroom. I told them please deliver my food and we would never order from them again. It basically comes down to the fact that the delivery driver didn't want to service us. I'm not sure why (even though I know) Please don't purchase anything from these people. The food was crappy but convenient so we tolerated them. They will never get another penny from me. read more

I called and ordered a large pie, wings and 2 pasta dinners. I asked if the clam sauce had onions and was told no and I was asked what kind of dressing I wanted on the dinner salads. When I got home the clam sauce was loaded with onions and there was no salads. Very disappointed. read more

I have had some not so good experiences with joe but lately we have had a couple of great visits which outweigh the bad ones. We found if we go in and order the pizza is well done as we love talking with the employees as well. We defiantaely look forward to eating here again! read more
