came here to get lunch, since I been to the other pizza places in the area. I got a pepperoni slice and a chicken bacon ranch slice. The slices honestly tasted stale like it been left out and the crust itself would been better if slightly burnt to offset the taste. Should have tried something else here, but if man draw is meh, can't have faith in the others. read more

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for real NYC pizza. Have been very disappointed in Walden do I decided to continue my search in the next town over. After trying Vic's my search is over! This place is amazing! The pizza reminds me of the city with nicely flavored sauce, not cheap on the cheese & just the perfect amount of crust! I ordered a pie for the kids and a shrimp parm hero for myself and I am not disappointed in the least. Pictures of both attached. You can tell there using fresh ingredients and the wait was very short. The lady working the front along with the owner (who made our pizza) were pleasant from the moment I walked in. Even discovered we live in the same neighborhood so I know they deliver to my part of Walden (yes)!! Overall if you haven't figured it out yet, I highly recommend this place for take out or even to sit down & dine in. They have a cute little restaurant section. read more

This place is a waste of money, first of all just a regular plain pizza doesn't even have flavor or taste the sauce on the pizza has no flavor and the cheese isn't even good. First and last time here. I bought two slices. They were stale. Crust was hard, sauce was bland and cheese was a little too salty.

Vic's Pizza is epic. Got a perfect chicken Marsala and linguine dinner with a house salad. Chicken Marsala was not overly salted with fresh mushrooms and lemon. Linguine was perfectly cooked. Sauce was light, flavorful and fresh. Salad had a homemade vinaigrette that was delicious. We also ordered wings and they were perfect. Eggplant sandwich was terrible, sauce didn't go with the eggplant like it was just added because it was too dry or something. Meduim pizza was the worst , lw quality cheese, and very little sauce. I have experience as a baker and pizza guy and this place was not even worth reviewing but they charged my $25.75 for a tasteless small pie and a small eggplant sandwich, what a ripoff. never again. read more

This is a very nice place. The dining room in back of restaurant is where I will be. Delicious food. Owner is a very nice hardworking lady along with the rest of her family. Pizza is best around too. Try a cannoli, there is some secret ingredients hat makes them superb. read more

The last time I went there, it was pouring, and the restaurant was empty, I asked the waiter if I could sit by the window with my family and when I told the waiter he said 'That's stupid.' He was very unpleasant and kept a serious face all throughout serving us, as if he was doing us a favor. Very poor attitude. Last night I decided to give it another try, I went in to buy pizza to go, and the young lady in the front was acting like she had a monkey on her back, with a poor attitude. She had a very unpleasant demeanor, which she also displayed this while taking an order from a separate customer, the father also had acted the same way and he tossed my pizza at me as he was handling it to me. The wife, on the other hand, was at least friendly and smiled to me but over all, these people need to take some courses on how to handle customers because they don't seem to have a clue, and come off as very rude. I would not be spending money there anytime soon. A bad attitude is like a tire; it doesn't take you anywhere. read more

Update: added 1 star. Last bunch of months pizza has gotten even better here. I don't go to other places now for pizza! I completely recommend the Hawaiian pizza. Great choice and great quality! We are visiting from California and the food was great. Best Fettuccini Alfredo and Homemade lasagna. The cannoli and coffee was great also. The portions were very big and the price was very affordable. I wish they had a restaurant like this in my hometown. We're gonna try to visit again before we go home and try the pizza. read more

We've been going to Vic's for years, because the pizza is good and overshadows the disgruntled attitude of the staff. That said, we were there during the peak of the pandemic for pick up and well after 'masks on' was an executive order. Not one of the three people working had a mask on, including the chef. It bothered me so much I hoped it was just an off moment for them and that they were taking the public's safety seriously. I drove by several other times hoping to see them masked, but nope. Dine at your own risk. If they won't take your safety seriously during a deadly global pandemic and are willing to risk being fined, imagine what we don't see. read more

Vic's is the latest leaseholder in a building who has held more pizza joints than I can remember. Although they've been open for some time now, I finally stopped in to grab a slice. I ordered a chicken parm slice, and at $3.25 I found it a bit pricey, but sat down to see what's what. The chicken was especially crispy, which I really liked. The crust was pretty standard, it had definitely been sitting out for a little while but hey, most pizza places do that. The main point is that I would go back. Vic's has the best cheese slice in Orange County, no contest. We've been coming here for true New York City style pizza for years and they never disappoint. As a true Brooklyn native, I can assure you that you're not going to find better pizza locally. Inside, you'll find the restaurant split up into two halves. The main part, the entrance, is a small pizzeria with three tables, a two top and two four tops. If you walk left when you go through the front door, you'll find your way to the main dining area. It's got lots of room for big parties, so being a bunch of your friends and family. It's usually pretty busy on weekend nights, so plan accordingly. Parking can sometimes be a chore, but almost directly across the street (on Clinton) is a municipal lot that usually has open spots. Vic's delivers, too, so if you're not in the mood to go out to eat, stay in with a pie and some cheesy garlic bread. They're quick and it won't put a dent in your wallet. read more

I HEARD the lady tell the cook "no sauce or cheese on the chicken cutlets" like I asked. I should have checked BEFORE I left...LOADED WITH SAUCE AND CHEESE. Smelled good but I had peanut butter and jelly for my dinner bc I couldn't eat this! I can't do cheese or sauce. Gave it to my neighbor who tossed it bc she said it tasted like cardboard with sauce and cheese. It's OK, with COVID, it's a $14.00 donation to my local business that I'll never go to again. 2nd time I have been disappointed by them, there will not be a 3rd. The 1st time, they were very rude bc I said their chicken cutlets were a little dry. My fault for trying again. To be honest, I have never tried their pizza and I see people like it but I'll never know bc I'm done (and I can't do sauce and cheese). I've lived around this area basically my entire life and have seen a few pizza places come and go in this town. I hope Vic's stays. They make great pizza and great wings. Their specialty pizzas are amazing. Since they've opened, my family has probably eaten it's way through the entire menu and we have never once gotten anything less than fabulous from them. My family and I, along with some friends found this spot in Montgomery after visiting Wallkill, NY. The pizza was excellent (sauce was amazing), Sicilian and regular crust (we ate both). Spaghetti and meatballs, chicken alfredo, calamari, we ate all the usual suspects and we were very happy. We had so much food left over we had enough for breakfast/lunch the next day. Although Vic has moved his restaurant from New Windsor to Middletown back to New Windsor and now Montgomery the food has remained the same, absolutely awesome. Have ordered food several times and they won't deliver to all parts of Montgomery. They have mixed up take out orders or left items out - leaving me to have to return to get it fixed. Food is generally ok but not great. Some of these reviews over bost of such great food.....makes me wonder why. read more
