My cousin was eager to check out this spot, so we waited in line for about 20-25 minutes to place our order. She went for the margarita and meat lover pizzas, which were pretty good. The crust was thin and crunchy, but honestly, it wasn't the best pizza I've had in New York. My cousins really enjoyed it, though. We ordered take out. My chicken marsala was made with a TOMATO based sauce! The pasta was way overcooked! My husband's penne a la vodka, was also seriously overcooked. There's nothing like getting mush for dinner. I think Joe should eliminate several items from his menu and concentrate on making a few things really well. I won't be ordering from Joe's anymore! P.S. Chicken Marsala is supposed to have a brown sauce with fresh mushrooms not canned. read more

So today I ordered a pie of pizza and buffalo wings from Joe's on Jamaica Avenue from the slice app. The order arrived, the bag containing the buffalo wings was neatly placed on the of the top. I opened the box and discovered the cheese was stuck to the top of the box. I called the Slice App and provided the attached pictures, however Joe's Pizza's totally denied the claim and insisted that the pizza was delivered in tac, which wasn't the case. Please be wary and check your order before the delivery guy leaves. They did not nothing to help me out, more like a "f*ck you", will never order from this place again. I was a regular and faithful customer to this pizza place . My favorite was always the Grandma pizza and the service was always good. The location itself was not inviting but the food was. Until ... And while I would either buy in store or order for delivery, it was never a problem . But this last time that I ordered was the nightmare of any order\delivery . I was treated very badly over the phone and the pizza was 1 1\2 hour late . After numerous calls the person taking the order even said ...."do you still want the pizza or not?". No apolo4no nothing. There is an unproven mathematical equation specific to NYC as it relates to price increases and it goes something like this. A slice of regular pizza rises in price in accordance to the rise in the price for a one way MTA (bus or train) ride. Basically rising at the same time at the same cost. Neither do I find fair nor equitable and Joe's, just like the E train lacked in many ways for the price. Consider exhibit A, press the pointing finger downward on the crust, top dead center. No crunch? No crumbs? Conclude experiment. Poor dough begets poor pizza. Cheese is for the most part cheese -- sauce needs more attention and I found Joe's to fall short in both capacities. Perhaps a more price appropriate fee for a public transportation ride circa 1993. read more

Joe's Pasta & Pizza Restaurant is certainly quite exceptional. They are much cheaper than the competition. Everything we bought was wonderful and the menu itself was to die for. Crew is very courteous and can help you with anything. Will definitely be back really soon. read more

Ordered on grubhub, delivered earlier than expected on a rainy day. It was my first time trying it with my brothers, got chicken and mushroom pizza which was great. They gave a generous amount of mushrooms, but wish there was just a bit more chicken, nonetheless the pie tasted very well. Garlic knots were good too, however mozzarella sticks were a little softer/soggy. Great prices for good food and service, I'll be returning back for more. read more

I bumped into this little gem on Christmas Day while most other restaurants were closed! I ordered $175 worth of catered food including Penne alla vodka, fettuccine Alfredo, linguini in Garlic and oil, Chicken Parm and wings. Everything was nothing short of absolutely delicious!!! I will definitely be ordering from them again and the best part was that it was all made in 1 hour! The presentation and service was phenomenal they even brought all the food out to my car and gave us free plates cutlery soda and bread. Thank you so much Joe's Pizza I will be back again! After a terrible experience at Tom's pizzeria on 104th street we found this place and it is a heaven sent. The food is great! Yes, it is more expensive than little Caesar's $5 cardboard but it's also much better. The customer service here is amazing! The guys behind the counter are so nice. I normally go here with a group of friends and they always push tables together for us and come check on us to see how the food is/how we're doing. Definitely our new go-to pizza spot when we're in the area, will never be returning to Tom's again! read more
