So I got to say we love Joe's. We've been customers since the wildwood days. When the kids were younger and wed vacation in wildwood it was a must have. Joe won my husband and I over one weekend when my husband wanted a cup of ice for his drinking that evening at our hotel. Joe gave him 2 cups of ice and said I just ask you come for a slice when you're hungry tomorrow. So we did, the pizza was great. Ever since that day we've been dedicated costumers. Joe would go next door to Dairy Queen and by my kids ice cream comes for their birthdays. His wife always took great care of us keeping our drinks full and the kids smiling. Ended up with this place when traveling through NJ. My friend's son had a football banquet here so it was a bit chaotic, but they held their own and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of pizza and quickness of service! The pizza for the kiddos came out super quick and the waitresses helping were super quick to get drinks and make sure everyone was set. Since we were "extras" to the party we ordered our own pizza and to our surprise it came out super quick and around the same time as the pre-ordered party pizza. We got a large white pizza with spinach and broccoli and it was very good! I felt it was a little bland and needed some spice, but after I threw on some of the shakers that were at the table -- garlic & red pepper -- it was just what the pizza lady (me) ordered! Not greasy and had more of a fluffy crust which I liked, however I do think it could've cooked a little longer to crispy up the crust (including the bottom), but overall it hit the spot and I left feeling FULL after 2 garlic bread pieces & a slice and a half! (Garlic bread nee Parmesan and was just ok... nothing to write home about -- you can skip it). Old school Pizza Hut vibes (they even have the big red cups). No alcohol, just fountain drinks. I went here a few years ago with my kids. Never went back. The food was alright nothing spectacular to boast about. However, what bothered me was there was a man I guess he was the owner or manager he went to every table and skipped ours to find out how our experience was. Not sure what his problem was. If it was because we were the only people of color and our feedback didn't matter shame on him. I liked this place when it was pizzahut but after we saw the selective friendliness towards certain people I decided not to come back with my children and not recommend this place to anyone. Had late lunch with my family of 12 here. Everyone found something they liked on the menu, even the grandkids, who ordered full meals. We especially liked the zucchini chips, meatballs, and chicken Parm. I have no idea what these naysayers are talking about -- food was very good (took pictures of our chicken and pasta dinners), the service super friendly, and prices aren't extravagant. The ambiance is nicer than your average pizza joint. There is 80's music to listen to and TV's showing sports. The coffee is a light roast and smooth. The roast beef sandwich was adequate. My husband and I stopped at Joe's Pizzeria this afternoon and were immediately greeted. I ordered a plain slice while my husband tried the chicken quesadilla. I asked for extra crispy crust and boy did they deliver...perfection! I added some oregano at the table but our server, Patty, brought grated cheese as well. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken quesadilla complete with salsa and sour cream. The dining room was welcoming with rich wooden decor making a lunch or dinner location warm and inviting. Been going to Joe's for many years now. Have ordered everything from the appetizers, pizza, and main dishes. Everything I've ordered has been very fresh and delicious. My favorite is the sautéed spinach. Service is great. Ambiance is casual and relaxed. On the weekends, they have a solo singer. He's great and sings a lot of songs from 70's and 80's. Only negative is that I don't think the place is large enough for an entertainer as the music can be rather loud. Otherwise, the gentlemen is talented, in my opinion. The only other negative about the restaurant is that he charges an "up charge" if you pay with a credit card. We placed our order and were told it would take 45 - 50 mins, no big deal on a busy weekend. When 50 minutes went past my fiancé called back to ask about our order and the girl started to take a new order. When she corrected her we were told that our food left and would be right there, we live a few blocks away so should have been a few mins. 10 mins goes by and we call back again and were told again that the food left and should have been there already. Our delivery guy When he finally got here over an hour later said he just got back to the shop and was handed our food and told to drop it off right away, so our food never actually left when they told us it did. Our fries were cold and soggy, the chicken parm long roll was soggy and falling apart at the bottom and the chicken cutlet on one half of the roll had almost half the roll with nothing on it. All the chicken was piled to one side, nor shifted in delivery. We called in to make a complaint as we have been ordering from there since they opened along with ordering from other pizza shops in the area (as most people do). The manager gets on the phone and when my fiancé explains the long wait, he immediately gets an attitude with her, very unprofessional and not customer friendly. She then tried to explain the situation and still receiving an attitude so she gave one back, naturally. Extremely rude and does not know how to talk to customers. He explained the girl is new and had issues putting in the order after hanging up during the initial call, ok but we should not be penalized for training issues and you also cannot go by the order time in the computer is she put it in well after we actually called. She hangs up on the manager and I called back and asked to speak to the manager as well. I explained I didn't like the tone he took with my fiancé and he replied he didn't like the tone she took which was after he was very nasty with her in the first place. I tried to explain the situation and was met with more combativeness and attitude. Stating the order was not over an hour because he is looking on the computer now, as explained before the girl had issues keying in the order, not our fault. I explained the fries were cold and soggy, the bottom of the rolls were soggy and falling apart, he stated its all part of delivery. I said we'll we never had this problem before from there or other shops. This is usually from food sitting there being warmed and waiting to leave. He begged to differ. Not as bad as that pizza guy on Main Street Maple Shade who only takes cash (WHY?) but you should be aware that if you use your credit card at Joe's, Joe is making money off of you, more than you paid for your pizza and the tax. He has a small unnoticeable paper at the door and checkout area that says a 5% fee will be added to all credit card transactions. Other than those online, mostly government sites that use third party services to process your card payment, I have never seen this before at a brick and mortar location. When questioned, he argued, yes argued, rather unprofessionally, that he has to recoup the fees he pays the credit card company. First off, while it isn't illegal, it is against most all merchant service provider's terms of service to require a minimum charged amount, nor charge an extra fee to use their services. Second, and most important, he can't be paying more than 2.1% to 3% in fees to his credit card processor for the amount of your transaction. So you are giving him more than what it costs him to accept your card. Why, and what is he doing with that other 2-3%? So if he is doing his accounting properly and legally, this extra % should be shown as an offset to his Credit Card Service Charges account on his P&L statement, and in turn, the net profit reported to the IRS. If he wants to recoup his expenses for credit card fees, I don't agree with it, but can see him asking his customers to reimburse those fees, especially in the current environment. But to be making money on us over and above the product or service we received? The pizza was very good. I welcome his explanation of the additional charge. read more

I recently stopped at Joes pizzeria for lunch. I was anticipating getting 2 slices, but I arrived a little early for lunch, and there were only a few pizza selections available. I will say they all looked good, but I opted for a sandwich instead. I went with a roast pork and sharp provolone sandwich, and a side of fries. I took the food takeout, and when I got back to the office, it was still hot. The pork sandwich was slightly better then average. I wouldn't say great. This was a great find in the middle of nowhere. I believe it's in Burlington county near shamong and mt laurel. And guess what I found out they have award winning pizza so I had to try that. It was definitely worth it. I got a small white pizza with broccoli, tomatoes, and mushrooms. The service was great and the food was excellent. THEEE best Sicilian pizza EVER. We cannot get enough of Joe's "upside down Sicilian"- what a unique concept. Never had a pizza like this before and we were WOW'd by this one. We recently moved to the area and would pass by Joe's Pizzeria all the time so we decided to give it a try and so glad that we did! I've not had anything on the menu that I did not love yet but the upside down pizza is our fav. The customer service is outstanding too btw.. JAKE took care of my order bc my last delivery order, they forgot the garlic/pepperoni topping and it was late night, probably super busy, so I am not a complainer but I did email them to let them know this. I have been to Joe's numerous times and the food was not up to my standards only a couple of times. The problem is I prefer a fairly quiet atmosphere but on weekends they started up again with live entertainment which is horrible loud singing with background music. Decent food but they nickel and dime you to death with extra fees. The server asked which type of cheese my dad wanted on his cheesesteak, he said provolone, and they charged him an extra dollar without saying anything up front. My mom wanted lettuce and tomato on her cheesesteak and they charged her .75 cents for each. I ordered a calzone and usually calzones come with a cup of pizza sauce for dipping. Mine didn't and I asked them for a little cup of sauce and they charged me an extra buck for a cup of pizza sauce. The servers are clueless and not helpful. I will never eat here again! My family and I visited this place 6/14/2022 at @6:00pm. We walked up to register ordered and decided to eat in. The cashier told us we could sit where we wanted and someone would be over to take our drink orders we sat for a good 10-15mins before asking when someone would come over. We look up and a couple walks in sits down and a waitress immediately walked over greeted them and took their drink order I told my family we were leaving and asked to speak to the owner who was not apologetic at all! His comment after was ok it's no big deal, I corrected him and said it is a big deal that no one came over to greet us and take our order. He said oh I know I'm going to go see what happened.
