I've moved all my business dealings local since March 2020 due to COVID-19. I decided that keeping my money in my community was important to me. I wanted the local businesses to feel supported and stay healthy during the pandemic. The last thing I want to see, in my community, v is a bunch of boarded up abandoned businesses that went bankrupt for lack of support. My motto has become, "shop where I live!" I try to limit my spending to my County, my zip code, my City, and places where I can't easily walk. It's actually been kind of fun! This place fits all the criteria! The people at this shop are amazing! When a car wash broke my heating vent and the dealership wanted a ridiculous amount of money to repair it, these folks helped me out by finding a used part and saving me some money! I was so grateful! Little things means a lot to me. They've helped me out with other things. Air in my "suddenly" flattening tires. Oil changes when the service light went on and my appointment was later in the day than I could handle! They even called me to apologize for a customer they perceived had harassed me (he hadn't)! What chivalry!!!! I am amazed at the quality of service here! It really just blows my mind! Even the shop dog, Luna, greets you at the door as if she knows to make sure you feel valued! My vehicle was making a noise that was indicative of valve roller rocker wear. Quite common on older Chrysler 3.6 L Pentastar engines. The repair facility I usually go to told me they do not perform this type of work. So I closed my eyes and threw a dart at my local yellow pages and it landed on Manyo motors. And I'm glad it did. I reached out to Dave Manyo and made an appointment. After diagnosing the issue, it turns out that the valve train was not the issue, but a broken flywheel. After replacing the flywheel - and performing additional work I had requested, I picked my van up on the day he promised. Dave produced the broken and cracked flywheel for my inspection. I told him to keep it for his collection of broken flywheels proudly displayed as art on his wall behind his desk. Thank you to Dave and his competent staff for their professionalism and expertise in repairing my vehicle. .....and as Arnold famously once said in the Terminator "I'll be back!!"

Told them to call me back before doing work…read more Called me back and said the calipers were shot and the battery needed to be replaced (it was a battery I bought only a few days ago) and they needed to special order parts and quoted me an absurdly high price and it would take 3-4 days. Told them I would just come get my car. They did the oil change anyways and charged me 30 bucks to inspect the car lol. Took it to a better reviewed and more reputable place nearby and they did the job for HALF the price shorewood auto quoted, the calipers did NOT need to be replaced, my battery was totally fine, and they finished the work the same day I brought it in. Take your car elsewhere. They either tried to aggressively upsell me or are employing incompetent techs.
