Avoid. In a nutshell, just grossly Incompetent. Had an appointment for tires. They called the morning of the appointment asking me to bring the car in earlier. After switching things around on my end to accommodate their request, when I dropped the car off they said they were 5 hours behind schedule. (It was now about 11:30 am and original appointment was at 1:00 pm) but they would still be able to finish it that day. Left the car, never got a call back so called them about 25 minutes before close to see if it was ready. They said it was so I ran over about 10 minutes prior to close and paid and grabbed the keys and thanked them. Stopped by with a second driver the next day (they were closed) and lo and behold they had never touched the car. Had to wait the next day until they were open and they were unapologetic and run and gave me the run around before finally issuing a refund. Lots of other choices. Go somewhere else. read more

AVOID this establishment! They are liars! Dale says "be here at 1:00", we have nothing on the machine until 2:00". So, we raced over for a 1:00 alignment. We were leaving town as soon as they were done. Dale calls at 4:06!!!!! He says "bad news, we can't get your car on the machine". It took him over 3 hours to figure this out!! They are completely incompetent. He is also the service manager. Complete and utter ignorance. I bought the tires from them 4 months ago. read more

Absolutely DO NOT take your vehicle here. The staff will upsell you on repairs you don't need and then hand you a vehicle that is unsafe to drive. I took my car here for new tires and was told I needed new brakes, a service I believed they were qualified to offer. 10 HOURS LATER, the shop hands me a vehicle with all kinds of warning lights and an emergency brake that wont turn off or communicate with the car's computer system. Manager knocked off a couple dollars for my time, but I still forked over almost $1400 before discovering that my formerly perfectly functional vehicle was now undriveable. I demanded that the shop tow my vehicle to a dealership and the regional manager, who I had to practically hunt down, explained that he could only refund up to $500, so refunding me for the brake job and the emergency brake wiring harness that had to be repaired at the dealership would mean talking to those above him. After trying to contact him again multiple times after that call, I finally found out from corporate that I would only be refunded for the repairs at Honda and not a single dime for the shoddy work done at Mavis. Mavis let me drive off their lot with a vehicle that was unsafe to drive and now refuses to take any responsibility and is just trying to outlast me until I give up. Calling customer support is about as productive as talking to a wall. read more

Booked my appointment through the Mavis website. Arrived today after receiving several reminder emails of my appointment to find the website apparently doesn't coordinate with the store location. Manager said they couldn't fit me in today because he had limited staff and appointments confirmed through the store location. Apparently online reservations fall behind the store customers. read more

This place is a complete joke!!!!!! The aligned my daughter's ford edge and when she got it back the wheel was way off to the right. I took it back to ask why and they said it needed outer tie rods and struts? My next question was why did you align it knowing that to which they couldn't give me an answer? I was then told that if I fix the parts they will realign it within 90 days which. I replaced the parts and called Monday to set up the appointment to get it realigned and when my daughter went in this morning they said she would have to pay for it! They said that because we put the arts in they wouldn't do it to which my question was why did you do the alignment in the first place if those parts needed to be replaced? This place is an absolute joke and I wouldn't let them work on my kids hot wheels! read more

As far as what is done at the place, may be a higher rating if the manager wasnt a crook. There is a new manager there his name is poser or moser im not sure which one but i went to get an alignment and he never did it. I was charged for it though. I think he charges for alignments and keeps the money. Additionally, he is extremely unprofessional and impersonal. From just sitting in there and listening to him i gathered that He does not talk to his employees very nicely either. read more

If I could do a minus rating I would. Had new tires mounted and they overtightened the lugs, destroyed my key for the locking lugs and didn't say anything. They stripped one of the lugs. Run from these guys. read more

Needed to have my brakes checked as I could not figure out the issues. Made an appointment, got my car in early so they could get to it. Couple hours later they called me and said that it looked like my rear brakes and rotors would need to be replaced. I informed them that I kind of figured that was what I was expecting and to go ahead and drop my car as I can do the work myself. About 30 to 45 minutes later received a call and was told that they ended up compressing my Calipers (which I did not give them permission to do) and ended up seizing my tire. Now my car was stuck on the rack and could not be moved. Ended up having to pay for parts and labor in the end. Not happy at all with this service. After venting my frustrations and informing them I'm on a limited income they continued to push me with other "services" that needed to be done on my car. Will never return here ever again read more

I called and scheduled an appointment for the same day right when they opened...drove all the way to the store and the doors were locked so I called and someone answered and told me they are closed...weird...because I scheduled an appointment for an hour after I called and then why is he answering the phone if they are closed....never coming here again!!! read more

Called to have a set of tires put on(that I was supplying) told them that on the phone told me to bring it in at 1:30 and it would be $140, brought it to the shop at 1:30 and went through and he tells me it's going to be $202, when I ask why he said well I used the wrong code on the phone, then a technician walks in and doesn't know how to do his job, this is when I should have left and gotten tires put on literally anywhere else, after an hour I drove by and my truck still hadn't been touched, after they tell me that my truck will be done in an hour. Maybe if the employees weren't having "playtime" and yelling and running around the shop the job would get done. I then went back after waiting until 4:45, my truck had not moved, and they were closing at 5, luckily they worked late but it then was not done until 6. I got no apology, no discount. I would never recommend anyone get service there, including people that I would like to inconvenience, all in all, if I could give a negative star I would give 5, but since I can not I will just warn you. Also upon further inspection, they damaged a wheel of my vehicle, NEVER NEVER NEVER GO HERE! read more

My girlfriend went in for a tire change and alignment and was told it would take an hour. The technicians tried to sell her and everyone else in the waiting room extra parts which may have been needed but the first job was taking so long that neither my girlfriend or anyone else in the waiting room took the mechanics up on the offer to do more repairs. After waiting 2 hours the manager came to tell her they didn't have the tires she ordered and then said that he would go help the mechanics with the car. After the 3 hours the tires finally did get changed but the alignment is worse than it was before (I paid $70). Don't use this Mavis. read more

I was requested to give a google review so here are my honest thoughts. First of all, I would like to say that John was very friendly and I enjoyed dealing with him, however this shop isn't somewhere that I will be taking my vehicle again. I went to this location when it was owned by NTB and wasn't very pleased with the experience but now that it is owned by a different company I figured I would give it another chance. One thing I always didn't like was that the way they have the lobby/waiting area set up is that there is a main desk and then a standing desk off to the side. I remember noticing how unprofessional it was to have an employee standing there and having loud conversations with customers/suppliers,etc but today I noticed that the set up is the same and the employee is still there having loud conversations this time talking to employees who must be at other stores and telling them about how bad their performance in sales is, and that brings me to my next point. If I come in for a set of tires and made an appointment for those said tires ahead of time, don't try to sell me wiper blades and an alignment and then ask "are you sure?" after I say no. It's rude and unprofessional. They put the tires on in about 2 hours and looked to be understaffed like everywhere else so I can't fault them there. I get it, big chain discount tire place. Maybe that's what they are all like, I just won't be giving them my business anymore. read more

They destroyed 1 wheel and damaged the other front wheel. replaced 1 wheel with one that doesn't match the other 3 on the vehicle. Removed and threw away spare tire and still haven't replace or returned spare wheel. It has been over 6 weeks. After over 15 attempts with the corporate office this still has not been resolved. read more
