Our birthday party group increased beyond the tables that we had reserved, and the Manager went above and beyond to secure another table for us. That extra table was already reserved for another party, and she did some quick shuffling that allowed our group to celebrate together. The food came quickly and was delicious. Ordered the seabass for ~$60 and was shocked at how poorly prepared it was. The filet was tiny, had tons of bones in it, and the vegetables were completely undercooked and cold. I do not recommend. Service was very slow on a Thursday at 5:30pm. Both steaks ordered came out approximately 10 degrees different than ordered. Did not bother complaining because it would've taken too long to fix. If you order the burger you will probably be alright. I was especially disappointed with the way the staff handled my gift card. A server came to my table and informed me in front of my entire family that my 200$ gift card had a zero balance. I asked her if my previous server had already redeemed it and she said "no that's not possible." I asked my family to leave while I handled the issue. I waited at the table alone for about 10 minutes, and then my original server came over and told me that she had already redeemed my gift card, and that the second server had made a mistake. This entire experience made me look stupid and the staff were hardly apologetic about it. I think the restaurant is entirely atmosphere without heart. read more

I always enjoy going to Joey in Bellevue. The host always greets you with a pleasant hello, a huge smile as well as complimentary champagne. The servers are extremely friendly. The food is filled with flavor. We did the happy hour today at 2:00 pm. We had the lettuce wraps with chicken, the Ahi Bowl (very fresh) & the potstickers. I really appreciated Kristen the bartender. She made an epic cosmo. I am extremely picky with how I like my drinks and she nailed it. They also validate parking. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. read more

A group of 13 of us dined here on a recent Tuesday night. The place was full and had alot of energy. The staff are all female and very pretty - that is intentional. My understanding is the women previously wore much more revealing clothing but I thought everyone looked great. It was my first time visiting JOEY in Bellevue and all I can say is I will definitely be going back. The cocktail area was very busy but I was able to find a spot at the bar. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was top tier and I never felt like I was waiting or the staff was too busy. The restaurant was very clean and had an awesome outdoor patio. The food and drinks were incredible and I definitely want to try more items from the menu. I was on the fence about a few items and the bartender, Faith, took her time to recommend some great options. I went with the steak and sushi which is something I would order again and again. Faith was an excellent bartender but I also want to acknowledge how great the supporting team was. Been to Joey's many times and they don't disappoint we had hubby's birthday dinner last night, our server Montana was super sweet and she checked on us constantly to see how we were doing and if we wanted anything. For appetizers we had the Truffle parmesan fries and sushi cone. The food was good, but $19 for two tacos was pricy. The drink was small and too sweet for me. It was also a little pricy. We came in early for our reservation. We got offered complementary wine. We're so happy it took a long time for the waitress to take our order. She actually takes the order of another table 1st who was seated after us . The other table got their food and we still didn't get to order and then finally after 45 minutes we were able to order the food and it took another 45 minutes to get it, other table is already done eating and the food it's good but it barely filled us. We ordered dessert and another 30 minutes of wait when it is something that they can just warm and serve. With this experience we're so disappointed but still tip 20% on top of their over priced meals. I wrote a feedback in the restaurant's website. They apologize and offer choices of how they can make it up with us. I chose the giftcard but that never happened they never replied to my email at all! We were here to grab lunch on Sunday afternoon. Food was yummy. We had the yellow tuna salad and sirloin ravioli. Service was slow considering it was not super busy. We also got the butter cake for dessert and while it tasted pretty good, the texture of the cake was tough. It felt like the cake was in fridge and then microwaved. So not as fresh I would like it to be. Ambiance is average. Nothing fancy. We sat outside so the view we had was 13 coin. I would recommend this place and will return. read more

Tracey provided one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. My wife and I had a date night, and thought about trying out Joey's for the first time. I've only heard great things about this place, so we were excited. I see now why so many of my friends rave about this place, it must be because of servers like Tracey. She seriously rose the bar for what I expect from a server moving forward. Whenever I go to a new restaurant, I always ask the server what is popular here and what do they suggest. She suggested the korean fried cauliflower and the herb crush salmon. Holy moly, they were amazing, I may just order them again in the future.
