It's always a great time at Joey, and the food always hits! But this visit was especially memorable because of our server, Miranda. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and was so friendly, fun, and thoughtful throughout the entire evening. She truly made us feel so well taken care of and made our Friday night extra special. If you get Miranda as your server, you're in great hands! I grabbed dinner here with 2 friends and it was great! It was busy but we were sat within 10ish minutes. They also offer sparkling wine while you wait. The fish tacos were interested because they were small fish cut into triangles and fried but they were good! I loved the dipping sauce. I liked that you can change meals to be gluten free too!

Joey in Bellevue is one of my go-to spots for happy hour and group dinners. The vibe is always fun and lively, which makes it a great place to meet up with friends or celebrate something. It is a little on the expensive side, but the atmosphere and overall experience make it worth it when you're in the mood for a nicer night out. The food has always tasted really good in my experience, and there are a lot of options so it's easy to find something everyone likes. Drinks are great too, especially during happy hour. Service has been good the last few times I've gone, although I have heard it can be a little hit or miss at the Bellevue location depending on how busy it is. One nice perk is that they validate parking (I believe up to 2 hours), which is really helpful since parking in Bellevue can be tricky. Overall, a solid spot for good food, good drinks, and good vibes, especially if you're going with a group.

I had patronized JOEY Southcenter not once, but twice in a span of two months about three years ago, and on my recent trip to Puget Sound, an opportunity arose when I was invited for some drinks and appetizers at JOEY, but in Bellevue. I wasn't familiar with the area and hadn't done my homework beforehand, so I had to devise a debatably unorthodox approach to hunt for parking. I was in the passenger seat and hopped onto Yelp to search reviews for the word "parking". From there, I discerned there had to be a parking garage, but couldn't tell where that parking garage was. I got out of the car and went inside JOEY to ask the hostess about parking; she mentioned there was a parking garage directly underneath the restaurant. There, we would be given a ticket upon entry, and they could validate our ticket afterwards. I then had to find a parking garage, but the only one I could find was between 13 Coins and Wendy's. I couldn't tell where exactly that parking garage was after the entrance ramp, but I told my groupmates to park at that garage. Luckily, it was the right one; I almost thought Hyatt had their own parking garage elsewhere in Bellevue Place, but when a quick Google search revealed that JOEY Bellevue was a part of Bellevue Place, I was more confident that was the parking garage the hostess was referring to in the previous paragraph. We had arrived and sat at a table closer to the rear of the restaurant. The servers were a little slow with the low level of activity going on that afternoon, but at least it did give us ample time to decide what to get. Happy Hour was in effect, and although one of my groupmates thought the Happy Hour prices would only be honored at the bar, our server indicated we didn't have to move there to be eligible for the discounted pricing. Each of us chose an appetizer to share with the rest of the group. We ordered the Truffle Parmesan Fries, Korean Fried Cauliflower, Bang Bang Chicken, and the Szechuan Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, and not one bad bite was had. However, I felt the portion sizes of their dishes, especially the Korean Fried Cauliflower and Bang Bang Chicken, were not proportional to the extra-orbitant price tags. And yes, extra-orbitant was a deliberate typo; regardless of what you'll be ordering, you can expect to spend no less than an arm and a leg there. But wow, all the food was really that good! My favorite was the Szechuan Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, and I'm not saying that just because that was my choice lol! The sweet soy ginger glaze supplemented by the spicy aioli felt like a match made in heaven! However, I found it odd that the Happy Hour menu only mentioned shrimp, but not chicken. This caused a little mishap in service to the point where I almost thought the server was maneuvering a manipulative tactic to overcharge us for a lesser expensive item; the server initially thought I said chicken when I wanted the shrimp to get the Happy Hour price. While not as egregiously deleterious to the wallet, I'd still propose this interaction as an avenue for a training opportunity. The Zip Margarita, while tasty, was quite unexpected for me. First, I didn't expect there to be so much crushed ice that if I wanted to take a normal sip, I'd have to be chewing a good amount of crushed ice. Secondly, I wasn't expecting a great deal of salt about the circumference of the cup akin to tajin seasoning in an agua fresca. We went on a Wednesday*, which I was a little surprised I didn't see anything regarding a Wine Down Wednesday; I recalled that used to be a thing there, but perhaps is prevalent no more at JOEY? If that's the case, that would defeat the purpose of having a wall of wines inside this restaurant. The servers provided good service overall, but not good enough to warrant my inquiring of their names. I know I shouldn't be extrapolating in my hypotheses, but I also recall the Wednesday team at Southcenter performing at an inferior level to the Tuesday team there, so it makes me wonder how much better service could have been had we gone the previous day. If anything, I did appreciate how our server made a conscientious effort to snap a good quality photo of us in spite of the inconsistent lighting inside. However, take note that you might have to wait several minutes before you can see a hostess at the front desk. Overall, my experience at JOEY Bellevue was superior enough to earn holistically good marks from yours truly, but I still believe they have room for improvement in the FOH to ensure the level of service can be commensurate to the numbers by each line item of their menu. After my second visit to Southcenter, I had nixed plans to propose JOEY as a good location in SoCal for drinks and light bites, but for now, I am un-nixing them. I can now recommend one of their five locations in the Golden State, but my going to even one of them is a much different story. * My visit was back in November; I took a hiatus from posting reviews, hence the fashionably late post.

I would always go to the JOEY locations in Los Angeles so I was so excited we were dining here. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. We had two tables of about 6 people. We put in a order for our drinks immediately and the other table got their drinks in a reasonable time. Our table got our drinks 45 minutes later... and we were missing one. I asked if I could order a lychee martini since I saw a lychee drink on the menu, the waitress informed me they could do a non traditional version which I was more than fine with! When the other drinks were finally brought over (after 45 minutes), I asked where mine was and she told me she meant to tell me they ran out of the lychee syrup needed. That would have been nice to know 45 minutes ago so I did not have to wait another 30 for my new drink.... We were sat around 7:30pm and I did not get the drink until 9:10. That was very upsetting especially after already waiting a long time for a drink. Food took a little longer as well but I understand that it was a larger party.

We had good service and yummy food. We managed to get happy hour prices, so it was slightly more affordable, but the prices are steep for what you get. It's really loud in there; we had to shout to hear each other. Other than that, it was a good meal in a nice setting.

We were in the area and decided to go for dinner. We didn't have any reservations so we sat at the bar ( open seating) glad there were 2 seats available. Great decor and lively atmosphere. We ordered their signature Martinis and yes they were delicious. Best Martini in a long time. We ordered their miso mushrooms which were like a stew , didn't think they would be that wet. But taste wise not bad. Main course I ordered their miso mushroom's Spaghetti Pomodoro for the veg option. It was ok not that out of the world for the price. Second dish was the sushi. Overall a fun place but on the pricey side. Would go back but for a special night. Or go for the happy hour.

Food was drinks were great here. Chill atmosphere Had some kind of ravioli with steak and shrimp. Perfection. Ordered as a shaded plate to enjoy over drinks at the bar. Steak was prepared medium. Highly recommend this as a shared plate because of the mix of flavors with the ravioli and shrimp. Would advise that service can be slow (or super slow) if the bartender is busy hitting on the pretty girls. Be prepared to wait for your order to be taken after the pretty girls are seated after you and the drink and food orders are taken and delivered first.

10/10!!!! Even being the week of Christmas when it was really busy. This was an unexpected visit. But definitely worth it. The waitress Miranda was AMAZING!!! Please ask for her in the bar area if you visit. The restaurant is a bit dark but clean and great atmosphere. The food was hot fresh and seasoned!!!! Cute date night or a quick stop to see the game or after work. I will definitely be back.

Steak Frites is my favorite item on the menu. It is always a treat when I get it. It is a bit expensive - $36 before a tip. A good portion size if you do not want leftovers. Wish it were cheaper as I would go more often.

You can never go wrong with grabbing drinks and food at Joey's. I think the plates speak for themselves (just see for yourself). Ambiance was nice and cozy. This is so far the best chicken wings ins one of the best burgers in town!!! Is holiday called Christmas shopping. My husband and I was looking for someplace that wasn't too full. It had good food so we remembered about JOEY. At first, we thought this, please was going to be packed. However, because it was at the same time snow flake lane parade. There was plenty of open tables for us to sit. We started with an appetizer, they hibachi chicken wings, and it was fantastic. It was one of the best wings we had in a while. We both got the pressed burger and we added bagel into the cheese and it was also delicious. The french fries were fresh and crunchy and the drinks were also super good. I will waitress was Olivia and honestly it was the best service we had in a long time. She was very attentive and patient and always stopped by to ask if everything was OK if we needed anything else. We hope the next time we go at Joeys, she is there! I really recommend this please to everyone that wanna have a good time. The food was good albeit pricey, but the speed of service was way too slow. We came with a large group and sat at a few tables. Our food took an hour to come out--by the time my table got our food, some people at the other table had already finished eating! We arrived at 6pm and didn't leave until probably 9pm. Our birthday party group increased beyond the tables that we had reserved, and the Manager went above and beyond to secure another table for us. That extra table was already reserved for another party, and she did some quick shuffling that allowed our group to celebrate together. The food came quickly and was delicious. Can't say enough great things about this spot. I reserve five stars for a small group of spots, and they earned it. The service was top notch - attentive, friendly, everything you could ask for. There was a Chef who stood out the most though. Came here for lunch with coworkers! Great spot. They now offer complimentary NA bubbly along with their regular offer, which is great. Service was friendly and attentive. We all got salads, which has great flavors and very filling. They came in just under $30 for each salad, so a little steep, but I still left feeling full and satisfied! I visited the restaurant for a team dinner. The place is bit upscale. However what sets it apart is their wide spectrum of menu. You will get everything from steak to sandwiches here. I personally had yellow fin tuna salad and it was delicious. Hibachi wings as an appetizer is something I can definitely recommend. Crab cakes are amazing too. For drinks I had Peach Bourbon Tea and it was good. The reason I am giving this place a 4 star is because despite us reserving the table for 8-9 people and the restaurant confirming the table, we waited for just under 30 minutes to actually get a table. And even the place we got, we had to squeeze and sit tight in there. I had better expectations from Joey. They do give you complimentary champagne while you wait but you gotta ask for it. If they would have offered it while we waited , I would have considered it as a much better gesture. read more

Service : A+ Ambience : Love it, been coming here since 2013 Food : post covid, they have changed their menu. there are not a lot of veggie options left, I would urge them to add a few more veggie options. their portion sizes have reduced. I love their hibachi wings as well as their long french fries and their chicken burger. However the portion sizes of hibachi wings as well as their french fries have been reduced by almost 30-40 %. I can say that with authority as I have been having them regularly since 2013. Love the place, have a lot of happy memories and will continue coming here till I am in the area. read more

Had a great time dining at JOEY! We were a party of 4 and quickly seated in the bar dining area. They offered us free champagne too! We ordered the surf and turf meals and really enjoyed it! My steak was slightly over cooked but the sauce in it was fantastic, good portions for the money! The service was a little slow and had to ask them to bring water and utensils even after our food arrived, but we had a good time! I'd probably check out their happy hour next time as it was a little steep in terms of the bill as I would have hoped for! read more

We made a reservation for a Wednesday dinner. But when we got there, they asked if we need to sit at a bar because the main room was full :/ the chairs here were tall bar seats and we had a 90+ year old in the group. Was not happy about that. But you do get a complimentary glass of champagne before you get seated. Food-wise, it's a modern American twist on classic ethic foods. They have Chinese lettuce wraps, Indian butter chicken, fish tacos, Japanese sushi, etc. They have lots of options and they present it well. But the taste and portions are not there. Chips and guac ($14) - we asked if 1 serving was enough for 4 and they said we needed 2 orders. And they weren't wrong. Flavor wise, it had it all. Sweet corn, tangy pickled onions, and spicy jalapeños. It's a good dish but small. Burger ($24) - it was a solid burger with thick bacon pieces. Fries were good. It's a good burger, but doesn't really stand out. Seafood tacos ($20) - like the burger, it was good. They said it was pieces of fish and shrimp. But I only tasted fish. The tacos came with a side of hot sauce and fries. I'm wondering why it didn't have salsa and chips. This would've made more sense. I'd compare this place to Cheesecake Factory.joeys is a little fancier, but the taste and portions are sacrificed. read more

We had such a great night at Joey, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter, Miranda. Her energy was amazing from the moment she greeted us--so warm, friendly, and genuinely upbeat. Very overpriced food even for Bellevue. I would not consider this place fine dining despite it charging fine dining prices. There is very spacious indoor and outdoor seating. RAVIOLI BIANCO - 3/5 The ravioli itself was actually not bad. I did enjoy it, but it wasn't so amazing that it justifies paying essentially $40 for. More like a 3.5. We went to dinner and chose to sit in the outdoor patio section. It was a nice day and they gave all of their customers a little free sparkling wine and that was nice. As always, the waitresses at Joeys are pretty nice looking and they are nice but they were also busy and wasn't that attentive - which is fine if you just need your food. Food wise - the Mediterranean bowl was good and refreshing. My dish which was the sirloin with ravioli was also good. I added the lobster tail which for 24 dollars not sure it was worth after it was all sliced up. The drink , sangria felt a little watered down but I could be wrong. Joey is a great place to go for happy hour. The food is classic American with some Asian fusion inspirations, and the cocktails are pretty decent. The hibachi wings and veggie burger are my go to staples ... There are plenty of seats, and the customer service is respectable. I go here frequently for happy hour and also enjoy bringing guests. We came in early for our reservation. We got offered complementary wine. We're so happy it took a long time for the waitress to take our order. She actually takes the order of another table 1st who was seated after us . The other table got their food and we still didn't get to order and then finally after 45 minutes we were able to order the food and it took another 45 minutes to get it, other table is already done eating and the food it's good but it barely filled us. We ordered dessert and another 30 minutes of wait when it is something that they can just warm and serve. With this experience we're so disappointed but still tip 20% on top of their over priced meals. I wrote a feedback in the restaurant's website. They apologize and offer choices of how they can make it up with us. I chose the giftcard but that never happened they never replied to my email at all! I do not recommend. Service was very slow on a Thursday at 5:30pm. Both steaks ordered came out approximately 10 degrees different than ordered. Did not bother complaining because it would've taken too long to fix. If you order the burger you will probably be alright. I was especially disappointed with the way the staff handled my gift card. A server came to my table and informed me in front of my entire family that my 200$ gift card had a zero balance. I asked her if my previous server had already redeemed it and she said "no that's not possible." I asked my family to leave while I handled the issue. I waited at the table alone for about 10 minutes, and then my original server came over and told me that she had already redeemed my gift card, and that the second server had made a mistake. This entire experience made me look stupid and the staff were hardly apologetic about it. I think the restaurant is entirely atmosphere without heart. read more

I always enjoy going to Joey in Bellevue. The host always greets you with a pleasant hello, a huge smile as well as complimentary champagne. The servers are extremely friendly. The food is filled with flavor. We did the happy hour today at 2:00 pm. We had the lettuce wraps with chicken, the Ahi Bowl (very fresh) & the potstickers. I really appreciated Kristen the bartender. Take the widespread adoption of QR code-based menus during COVID...how many restaurants do you know actually switched back to real menus after COVID passed? The answer is very few. The reason why? They are too stingy to pony up the dough and ignore the benefit to the customer experience. They figure, 'people already know how to do that so why spend the money on printing up menus anymore?". They couldn't care less about what customers might actually enjoy more, and that's the real travesty. If restaurants are going to force their customers into a self-serve model (as so many have nowadays), then why bother tipping anyone? I am so fed up of a world where the idolatry of wealth has surpassed the appreciation and value of real, engaging human experiences. The Central Bar + Restaurant could help reverse this course if they ever decide to they put customer experience first instead of their own profits. It's at the corner of one of the buildings. Dark, mid sized interior with some cool neon lights and light up marble pattern bar counter. Not very busy when I went at happy hour/dinner time on a Friday night, but the place is busier later at night on Friday/Saturday during the warmer months. Sometimes they have events and DJs. Sat at the bar and tried out some happy hour specials. Got the Korean sauce wings ($12) and cheese truffle fries ($8). Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. Sauce was agreeable. Definitely enough food for my dinner. As for the drinks, I got the rosemary mule which is Moscow mule with some rosemary herb. The copper mug they use is good sized. Tasted refreshing although could feel the alcohol afterwards. Also tried a corpse reviver no. 2, which was a little sweet but has a punch. Cocktail prices are not cheap outside of happy hour, in the upper teens. Overall, was glad I tried the place out. Will drop by for happy hour once in a while.

Cod was cooked in such a good gravy and very tasty and so was the lamb. We ordered a variety of naan which was a little chewy. Dessert was the sticky pudding which was very nice. Overall this place is pricey and tip is included so you can't except great service. I would go back here for drinks. But our experience today was awful. I give them a 2 star because ive been there in the past & its been ok. This time i made a RSVP at 6:45pm they text me you will be seated in about 30mins. I walked with my Family for 20 mins then came back to be seated soon. When i arrived i asked how much longer they said i didnt have a RSVP. Then i showed them the text i was sent. The Hostess then seem confused & said yes you will be seated in 10 mins. So i sat down with my family & waited another 25 mins. Starting to get frustrated i got up & asked again. They said no worries you will be seated in less then 5 mins. Another 15 mins went by. By then my youngest child is totally off on this experience & want to just go back home. I go up 1 final time to ask whats going on? My waiting time has double to 1 hr wait & still no service. So i ask 1 more time they say sorry it may be another 15 to 20 mis wait. Finally my whole family was disgusted at the poor service. I never Yelp but this one was earned my the folks at the front desk. You should always under promise & over deliver when it comes to customer service. The other thing that was upsetting was the Hostess was on her cell phone the whole time. Not checking up on anybody. Like she was at her lunch break. Anyways just had to share my unprofessional experience this evening. read more

We were in yesterday for Valentine's Day and we were seated in their dining room/lounge area. We had a wonderful server, and she was very attentive. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo pasta entree and the person I was with ordered the California Chicken Club sandwich. When our food came out, the sandwich was good, but my alfredo was the worst pasta I have EVER eaten! It was under cooked in spots, and way overcooked in others! The chicken was dry and chewy, and the only semi-positive thing was its presentation. My waitress was very apologetic and I told her I would like the California Chicken Club sandwich as well. After that, a chef brought out my food, which came out fairly quickly and was much better than the pasta. I work in a restaurant so I was somewhat understanding, but at an establishment like Joeys, you would think that a manager would have been over to talk to me. I was at my table for nearly 25 minutes after getting my bad pasta before someone besides my waitress or the chef came over and talked to us. What really irritated me was when I got up to use the restroom, one of the managers was sitting down on a bench doing nothing! Definitely don't know if we will be back here again. Would be one star if not for the manager who eventually came and talked to us. read more

I came here a few years ago with a big group and ordered some fries; just fries. I mean honestly how do you screw up fries? We were there for about an hour; everyone's food came except mine. I asked the server girl what the heck happened and she had the audacity to catch an attitude with me. So much for professionalism huh? So while I'm sitting there seething my mates all finished their food; finally my fries came out 90 minutes into the dinner. I don't usually cast aspersions without proof but all my mates were white and I was the only person of color there. Coincidence? Who knows. Maybe I just looked poor. It was a different time though; these days even the hint of being accused of racism brings out the big guns from businesses to fix things and run damage control. Back then people didn't care as much; I'm glad things have changed. If I remember correctly this is one of those restaurants that only hires (by objective/traditional beauty standards) "hot" people to be servers with the focus on mostly traditionally "pretty" women. Goes to show ya that being good looking doesn't necessarily make you a good person! Anyway this place is overly expensive and honestly the food is mediocre at best; save yourself the trouble and go to Red Robin or something. read more

In the evening, we decided to go to Joey's for a spontaneous date night. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us warmly and were very attentive, offering excellent recommendations to ensure we had a memorable experience. They frequently checked in on us, which was appreciated. I tried sushi for the first time and was thrilled with the experience. It was perfectly prepared and tasted authentic. The chicken wings were another highlight, with spices blended just right. We also ordered a Pink Lady mocktail, which came topped with creamy egg white, offering a unique flavor. The virgin mojito tasted as expected, refreshing and familiar. The ambiance at Joey's was cozy and romantic, with warm lighting that made it perfect for a date night. It wasn't noisy, which added to the intimate atmosphere. Although a bit on the pricey side, the restaurant has a classy, upscale vibe, making it ideal for romantic dates, birthdays, or team dinners. If your looking for overpriced food served by dumb waitresses who can't walk and chew gum at the same time then it's a great place! Wen't here with a large group, we changed our reservation time in advanced, they didn't. So they did what any Bellevue bitch would do and gave away our reservation. We were about to go to a Dance with our school so we knew there would be no other restaurants available that night and we really had no time. So we had to wait in the lobby for 40 minutes and they asked if we wanted to eat in the lobby, and still pay full price of coarse. So we just lol'd 4 dayzz and the dumb waitresses tried to act like they were talking to the manager to "sort things out". So we had to order our food in the lobby while we waited and she probably didn't even bother to write half of what we said down. Finally we get seated; separately. Our food comes like 30 minutes later and they messed up 3 orders and it tasted like dead rat. APPS WERE GOOD THOUGH AND SO WERE THE OVERPRICED DRINKS. So you have a few different options when it comes to Joeys. Lake Union, Southcenter, or Bellevue. The food is great, and like every restaurant chain, the reason that you keep coming back is their food is dependable. You know what to expect (e.g. Starbucks). I choose the Bellevue location because it's a little more classy than the other 2 locations. You're typically going to eat alongside a Microsoft crowd that flocks in from their Lincoln Square campus after work but the atmosphere has a lot better ambiance than any of their other locations. If the staff makes a mistake, they'll make it right which is admirable for any food establishment. Southcenter has a younger crowd but why I like them is their outdoor seating experience is better than the other locations. As far as the Lake Union location it's pretty good but on any given Friday or Saturday you'll probably run into scantly clad club heads that are pre-funking before hitting the Seattle night scene. I'm not really into that so I stick with the tried and true Bellevue location. Check it out sometime. read more

My colleagues and I ended up in SEA unexpectedly and we were super hungry by the time we got to our hotel. I'm familiar with Joey's, I've been to the Downtown LA location a few times and the food never disappoints. Being that it was Valentine's Day the restaurant was very packed and they were not accepting walk-ins. But they told us that if we saw a spot at the bar we are more than welcomed to grab a seat. Christina, the manager came to the front and even tried to find us a table with no luck. But we completely understood. Thankfully I found a spot for three at the bar after about 15 minutes of watching. Christina came over and checked on us multiple times, she was so welcoming from the very beginning. We were starved and tired and she made us feel so comfortable with her energy and her smile. It was a busy night, the music was flowing, people were enjoying their night and she walked around to ensure everyone was having a great experience. Well what can I say about this place that hasn't been said already. Have you not read the reviews!? I came here for my loving stepmothers birthday party a party of 20-25. Sydney and Mady the hostess took amazing care of us with the free champagne tasters while we were waiting for our table. Luke our server gave us impeccable service with drinks and food being on time while getting to know all of us personally. I came in thinking will get moderate hospitality but I was actually surprised when Cassidy herself the bar manager came to cut our cake introducing herself and getting to know my family herself. On top of that Brianne, the manager gave my stepmom a present with her own personal favorite wine herself as a gift. My stepmom and dad adored the amazing hospitality and service we got and I'm sure for future important events we will definitely be dining with Joey Bellevue again! Must I say more? read more

Tracey provided one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. My wife and I had a date night, and thought about trying out Joey's for the first time. I've only heard great things about this place, so we were excited. I see now why so many of my friends rave about this place, it must be because of servers like Tracey. She seriously rose the bar for what I expect from a server moving forward. Whenever I go to a new restaurant, I always ask the server what is popular here and what do they suggest. She suggested the korean fried cauliflower and the herb crush salmon. Holy moly, they were amazing, I may just order them again in the future. We were so hungry, we completely failed to take pictures, but rest assured, they truly were delightful. Great suggestions, great service, great food. As one of Bellevue's most exclusive restaurants, my expectations were high going in - and wow, JOEYS surpassed my expectations with the team upholding standards of exceptional level of customer service and delicious cuisine. The service demonstrated by our server Brooke was truly sophisticated, authentic, and professional - it was quite impressive. I recommend the Blu cheese sirloin with gorgonzola bread for the main course. Pair these with one of the wines from the wide-ranging drink list. For the dessert, I got the molten lava souffle, and oh my, it swept me off my feet. In short, unbelievably good service and food. I never would have selected some of the items above had it not been for our servers impeccable knowledge of what flavors and dishes go hand in hand to better suit our pallet. Let's start amateur. You order a shot, and a chaser. You get a shot, and a chaser. I ordered a shot, and a chaser. The chaser was a double, on the rocks, of what the shot was. I repeated it three times because the girl looked confused. She even repeated it back to me once. I got... wait for it... a shot. And then she left. Without a pause. Had I not waited fifteen minutes for these shots (straight up by the way - none of that girly froo froo), I probably would have ordered again. But then some other girl (and they were both cute (in your over 21 and legally allowed to serve but still look like a pre-teen kinda way) said that she had gone home and that I now had a new server. It was many months ago I went here and I still remember what I ordered. I had about 5 pimlicos. One of the best cocktails you will ever have in your life! (Yes, I feel emphasizing "in your life" in my reviews as it will make you feel like you are going to die soon and should visit these places.) We had some seared tuna, prawns, and even dessert. We shared a half dozen happy hour meals along a few of the specialty drinks our sever (Sidney) had recommended. Our overall experience was one of relaxation and new tastes and twists on fusion creations. Joey Restaurant is warmly lit, modernly decorated and plays great music with energetic and attentive employees. Our sever (Sidney) must've checked i on us at least ten times throughout our meal just to ensure that our impression of the Restaurant was accurately positive. I will definitely return!
