I really enjoy my visits to this location because of the ambiance, the service, and the food. I've come here with different groups of friends on a weekday and weekends. Each time is a good experience, and everyone enjoys the food and drinks. My favorite go to drink is their sangria. It's refreshing and tasty. I've tried a number of dishes, but I love their steak and sushi, steak frites, Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the creme brulee cheesecakes, just to name a few. The servers are always friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Music is good there, lights are dim, TVs are mounted for live games. Reservations can be made online. I have a love hate relationship with Joey's. The food is pretty good for an upscale place and its always happening but OMG they need to invest in acoustics. Its impossible to have a conversation at Joeys and often times you have to shout to be heard by the person next to you. I usually have the Ahi Tuna salad and chicken wings, both are delicious, i dont venture too much off the beaten path. Service can be hit or miss depending on which server you get. I have had amazing servers and have had servers forget orders (last time we visited our server forgot our order and brought us the check instead). She was apologetic but then she disappeared again and was talking to another server who was having her dinner in the dining room. However, with consistent food, great location and upscale vibe I keep going back there despite the one off bad experiences. read more

I'll start with the good stuff: great location, free parking, nice presentation of dishes. Now to the rest: loud, acoustics is awful , makes people shout, although sitting just next to each other. I usually order a burger in fancy places, as quality of meat is good. The burger was cold and tasteless. The filling was a mess swimming in Mayo. I'm sure the fries are great but as everything came cold, they were bad as well. I did not say a word. We were finally meeting two more couples that we did not see and missed forever and I did not want to do anything that will spoil this evening. Not bad. To be honest I was a little skeptical of trying anything else in the Hyatt Bellevue compound after my bad experience at 13 Coins and walking the other depressing establishments in this complex. The initial experience on Friday night wasn't hot because it was full of young, very unhip young Bellevue-ians ready to get their evening on and I was regretting my life decisions but overall it wasn't bad. The main restaurant space makes a good impression after the loud lounge area. Good lighting, decent warm aesthetics for the interior, and the overall crowd noise was a dull roar compared to the front door. Also learning that they're open late was big plus. Service came from a new waiter and his boss, and both were attentive and pleasant. Food was better than expected. Had some "Korean" fried cauliflower that had some light gochujang sauce applied; sometimes the USA preps of this sauce turn into a Korean Terikyaki of sorts but this wasn't too sweet so +1. Mini sliders were perfect little cheeseburgers and exactly what I was craving at the time. For an entre I had the Mediterranean bowl and while it was clearly a fusion-y thing and a bit heavier than expected I still enjoyed the fresh flavors. Came here for my birthday dinner and I was very pleased with the experience. I ordered the steak and sushi and my boyfriend ordered the butter chicken. I also ordered one of their non alcoholic drinks called she's pretty. The drink was okay. It was pretty tart. I upgraded the steak to prime sirloin and I'm so glad I did. It was so flavorful and tender and the sushi was even better. Not bad for the price at all I thought it was definitely worth it. The butter chicken however was just okay. I would suggest you get butter chicken somewhere else. The service was pretty good. They were attentive in the beginning but I don't remember much else. It's very dark inside the restaurant. They have many TVs, and the vibe is more boujee than regular sports bars! My favorite food at Joey's is Habachi Wings, and my favorite drink is the old-fashioned drink! The wings are well done and have so much flavor. They are my favorite wings that I ever had. The old fashion I got was also the best old fashion that I have gotten in Bellevue! In early January 2025, we were looking for a place to have some drinks and an appetizer. JOEY Bellevue was located just a short walk from the InterContinental Hotel where we were staying. We arrived at JOEY around 5:15pm. We did not have reservation on a Friday night, but the hostess was able to quickly find us seats. Our server, AJ, was extremely friendly and helpful. As it was our first time to JOEY, AJ took time to give her advice on drinks and what the best items on the menu were. Along with a few drinks, which were made perfectly, we ordered the Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wrap. Wow! It was absolutely incredible! Prices were all very reasonable, especially for downtown Bellevue.
