The warning signs appeared immediately. On October 31, 2024, during the purchase process, salesperson Dylan Hill emphasized transparency and stated that dealerships were no longer predatory. Shortly after delivery, however, he pressured me to submit a perfect "all tens" customer satisfaction survey as a condition for addressing the pre-existing defects, including screen scratches, a dashboard chip, and a rear bumper chip. After I complied, communication stopped. Only after escalating the matter to GM Erick Ligon did the dealership replace the infotainment screen on December 10 and address the other defects. No repair order or written documentation was provided for these repairs. Believing I was investing in a long-term vehicle, I spent thousands of dollars on paint protection film. Within months, the replacement screen itself developed a rattle. The vehicle subsequently exhibited recurring rattles from the rear shelf, infotainment screen, and both A-pillar speakers. I returned for service more than four times. Despite multiple repair attempts, including adding insulation and replacing the entire rear shelf, the defects have persisted and have worsened. Service documentation repeatedly minimized the defects. Technician Jim Watson and Honda Field Engineer Ian noted that the rear shelf rattle occurred only at very loud volumes with heavy bass. In reality, the noise was clearly audible at moderate volume levels using default audio settings. Similar discrepancies appear across multiple service records, where I've had to make corrections. On May 29, 2025, Jim successfully duplicated the infotainment screen rattle. This was later confirmed to me in writing by Erick. However, this confirmation was not communicated to the Honda Field Engineer or to District Parts and Service Manager Stephanie Barker during subsequent evaluations. Stephanie ultimately advised that, based on the information provided, the conditions were considered "normal," effectively declining further corrective action. In an escalation in June 2025, Ms. Barker asserted that I had engaged in hostile and confrontational behavior with dealership staff and relied on that assertion to justify halting further warranty work. When I raised this directly with Erick, he denied the accusations against me and confirmed that I had conducted myself respectfully throughout. No documentation supporting the allegations was ever provided. When I sought an independent evaluation at another Honda dealership, American Honda Corporate instructed that dealership not to perform inspections related to the rattling concerns, preventing an independent diagnosis. Administrative issues compounded the situation. The finance department failed to cancel the registration on my trade-in vehicle as promised, resulting in PeachPass toll violations for a vehicle I no longer owned. Throughout this process, responsibility has been repeatedly deflected. The dealership cites independent ownership while corporate controls the repair process. After submitting a formal repurchase request under Georgia Lemon Law, American Honda failed to meet the statutory 20-day response requirement. My assigned mediator has not provided any substantive updates and has remained unresponsive for months. On January 14, 2026, a corporate representative stated that mediation efforts were actively underway with the dealership. Shortly thereafter, Erick confirmed that no such contact had occurred. He told me to retain legal counsel. This directive came from the same district manager, Stephanie Barker, who previously relied on unsubstantiated conduct allegations to halt warranty work. Adding to the situation, Dylan later contacted me to discuss trading in the defective vehicle for another new car, stating that "this time" the vehicle would be thoroughly inspected, implying that the vehicle I have now was not thoroughly inspected. Trading in a vehicle under these circumstances would result in an immediate loss of several thousands of dollars, effectively shifting the financial burden of unresolved defects onto the customer. This experience reflects a consistent pattern: repeated repair failures, inaccurate service records, character assassination, and prolonged delays. Potential buyers should understand that when defects arise, resolution may depend not on customer service, but on legal pressure. Honda's final answer is to push customers toward litigation rather than simply honoring their warranty obligations. Honda will only help you if they are forced to. Avoid Honda and their deliberate maze of bureaucratic obstruction.

He brought us over several cars that were great but overall didn't fit all the criteria of what we wanted. I already looked at their inventory and picked out 2025 Mazda CX-5 Reserve in Soul Red CPO. I had called ahead to make sure it was still available and made an appointment for 5:30. We arrived and were greet by Lewis Moats. The car was waiting for us by the front door. After copying my wife's license, we were off on the test drive. The route was a blend of curvy back road to a ride on the highway to get a good feel of the car. Lewis got quiet when asked so we car hear how quiet the car was and there were no strange noises. My wife loved the handling and the power on tap when needed. Zoom Zoom it is. When we got back to the dealership we met with the sales manager, Carly Vendemia, to go over the numbers. I remembered her as the finance person who helped me buy my 2021 Mazda CX-5 Reserve which shows this is not a turn over dealer but one where people stay and get promoted. She and I went over the numbers. I showed her my research on my trade and she showed me hers and we met at a number we both agreed on. I also filled out the coupon on their website and got an additional $500 off. Next stop finance. Fabian Jackson handled the finance part. He was professional and showed me all the options. Since it was a CPO and had warranties all we needed was the oil change package which gets you 6 oil changes with tire rotation and inspection every time you come in. I got it when I got my 2021 and it is well worth it. He was unable to match my interest on the CPO that I was able to get from my credit union but they came close. Last step was Lewis Moats, a great salesman, who patiently sat with my wife in her new car showing her all the options and controls. He didn't rush her and she asked question after question. He also programmed the car play to work with her phone. She was happy and drove home with a smile. There are a lot of dealers out there but this is one you should shop at. They care for their employees and it shows. I have seen the same service people for years and one became the service manager. They explain everything that needs to be done and fix it right the first time.

We hesitated because we didn't want to be rude and keep them there late, but the Nash team insisted it was ok. I told Jeff that I was a no BS kind of guy, and I wanted to get a few thing out there before we even started running credit etc.. Everything that I had concerns about, he put to rest and honored his word the whole way through the process. I told him we didn't want my credit run more than once, and I wanted to know up front if we were going to be paying more because of the vehicle shortage. He assured me the online price was the price, and by the time we signed the papers, it was. Our credit was also only ran one time as promised. There were no hidden fees, and nobody pushing anything that we didn't want pushed on us. We also were financing the vehicle under our business. I thought it might be a problem to do this being that it was after hours and Saturday, but it wasn't. Even though commercial financing costs a little more, we were still very pleased with our rate. Because the dealership was technically closed, there was nobody there to detail it, but Jeff promised that we could schedule something the following week and they would get it cleaned up for us. The pandemic has been tough on dealerships. There are fewer cars to sell, and employees that still need to be paid. Many dealerships have been marking up their vehicles 10 or 15k over the MSRP to help offset that. I'm so grateful to Nash Chevrolet for not taking advantage of us. As I told Jeff before we left, he has gained a customer for a life and I will be happy to refer anybody that I know to him.

After bringing my 2025 Chevy Traverse in, due to the check engine light being on and the vehicle rough idling and overheating, Service Advisor (Sedrick) informed me that the upper radiator hose was leaking coolant and that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty, so I expected the dealership to stand behind their product and provide a courtesy vehicle while mine was being repaired. (Also, Sedrick stated the hose was not in stock and could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months before the part arrives). Instead, I was denied a courtesy vehicle altogether. Their reason for the denial was I needed a credit card, even though I have a valid driver's license and proof of current insurance. When I asked to see the written policy requiring a credit card none of the staff was able to produce any documentation showing that such policy exists. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told Mike Lambert was home doing home repair work and would not be back until Wednesday, April 1,2026. I asked if there were someone else I could speak with who could make a sound decision, an aggressive NO was the response I received. It makes no sense to tell a customer their vehicle is unsafe to operate and then refuse to provide transportation, especially when the issue is covered under warranty. I had a valid driver's license and proof oof insurance. This left me in a difficult and unnecessary situation. A dealership should prioritize customer safety and honor warranty obligations. unfortunately, that was not my experience here. In addition, the staff I encountered (all male) were not professional, willing to assist or reasonable. I started my search for a GX550 two months ago. I had deposits at 3 different dealerships, each one telling me it would be after the first part of 2027 before what I wanted came in. Enter Tyler and Hennessy. He calls me 3 weeks after putting my deposit down, telling me someone backed out of a Premium Plus trim and it's mine, it will be in at the end of July. Yes! I (not the brightest move of my life) called and cancelled my other deposits. I was so excited! It gets here, he texts me pictures and we make plans for me to I go in the following day to pick it up. I arrive at my scheduled time, and Tyler takes me back to look at my car. He tells me they applied ceramic and tint and it is ready to go! My heart immediately sank. You see, I had been in there 7 weeks prior looking at a different trim level. When I sat down with finance, my out the door price was $10k more than what I was expecting. Why is this? Ceramic, tint, and other add ons they were expecting to put on. After some talk, I walked away from that one because the numbers didn't add up and it wasn't until I got home and was talking to my husband these add ons put me way out of my price range. Back to this past Friday, after I was told all the add ons were already applied, I was optimistic this was just a thank you (ok, so I was a bit naïve). I sat with finance. $10k over what I thought I was going to pay. No warning. I told them no. I wasn't paying this. They told me it's a luxury vehicle and it needed the protection. Yes. However, that should be in my terms, not yours. I already had an appointment with a local shop for under $2k. They told me to splurge, they told me in the whole total, what's an extra $10k. They gaslit me into doubting my out the door numbers were severely incorrect. Look at me like I am crazy when I was $10k off my final numbers. No sirs. You all are taking advantage of people (or not, maybe some people don't care). I finally asked for my car keys. 3 times. They followed me out, still telling me basically how dumb I was for walking out because these vehicles are in such high demand. I left feeling confused, but knew I could get back in these waitlists at other dealerships. This is not a I need now. I have time, and I am in no rush. Anyway, on my wayhome I called my husband some friends about my dramatic experience and game planned to call the other local dealerships the next morning. No worries. The next morning I received the attached email my salesman. Tyler, I am sorry that losing that sale made you so upset you had to email me the next morning . I am not sad. I did not lose out on my "dream car" (ps - not my dream car, I never said that). I just saved myself $10k plus not signing for that car at your dealership. Next time, maybe you all will be upfront that you are not allowed to refuse those services. Maybe you should add that to the sticker. Maybe you should be more upfront when you talk price.
