We were on a road trip and decided to visit Lou Malnati's pizzeria to experience their Chicago deep dish style pizza. Every Lou Malnati's pizza is handmade from scratch using the finest and freshest ingredients. Every year, the Malnati team hand selects California vine-ripened tomatoes for the perfect sweet and tangy taste. The fresh mozzarella cheese comes from the same small dairy that has supplied Lou Malnati's for over 40 years. And the family's secret recipe for flaky, buttery crust has been passed down from generation to generation. The restaurant has a very industrial and mechanical vibe like downtown Chicago. We were greeted promptly and seated in a booth in the dining area. The service was very attentive and friendly and engaged with us in light conversation. We ordered the Malnati Chicago Classic pizza made with Lou's lean sausage, some extra cheese and vine-ripened tomato sauce on Buttercrust in size medium that was perfect for 3 people. It takes a while for the pizza to be made and baked because it is fresh. The pizza was made fresh with fresh tomatoes for the red sauce and had generous toppings. It was served fresh from the oven and the waitress cut the pizza for us and served us at the table. The cheese was stretching when she was serving the pizza. Enjoyed our experience at this restaurant and a chance to try the Chicago deep dish pizza while on our trip.

Came here for the happy hour and our server was attentive. Before drinks were empty he was asking if we wanted a refill. Now for the happy hour, 5 buck, drinks, limited apps and voice of personal. Can get an app a pizza and 2 beers for 20 bucks before tax and tip. The food was hot and tasty, highly recommend this location.

Got a beef sandwich on a Friday night you would think it would be the busiest day to get a hot beef sandwich but instead I got half fatty meat and lbs of sweet pepper rubber cheese sandwich when I got home. Never again

Love the steam punk look thru out the restaurant. The menu sticks with the classic but also offers a crustless and gluten free pizza to please everyone. What was impressive was the wait staff always buzzing around making sure the tables were happy even the manager was out on the floor

Called to reserve a table for 10 at 6pm. We were seated soon after arriving even though not everyone was there. There were 7 individual orders and the waiter promised the 1 order that wasn't pizza would be delivered with the pizzas the rest of the group ordered. We checked with the waiter numerous times since we were finished with eating pizza when the chicken dish finally arrived. Really awkward having all but 1 person having their meal after specifically addressing it at the time of ordering. Requested that the lone entree be taken off the bill which was done. The food was good. We'd had carry out before with major hits and misses so wasn't sure what to expect in the restaurant. It seemed chaotic and that they needed more help in both the kitchen and wait staff. Our section had 1 waiter and 3-4 tables of 8-12 people each. Very loud and probably wouldn't go with a large group again.

My sister was in visiting from Florida. She wanted to go to Lou's as she has really missed it. I ordered ahead online for dining in. That worked out so awesome. When we arrived we were seated right away. Ordered drinks and an appetizer and by the time we were done with that the pizza arrived! Our appetizer was the Lou's Bruschetta, Roma tomatoes, fresh basil, olive oil and shaved parmesan on garlic rounds. $9.89 This is one of the best Bruschetta's we have ever had. Hot, soft but toasted, garlicy and delicious! A huge hit and it was all consumed fast! HA! It was the three of us, my wife, sister and myself. My sister is a vegetarian so we ordered a large deep dish butter crust with half garlic, green pepper and tomato's and the other half was garlic and sausage (patty style). The pie was cooked to perfection and tasted better than any previous Lou's we have ever had and we have been to many locations. The atmosphere was nice, had a TV but not loud. We sat in a booth. It was great service from Morgan V. The manager came around at the end of our meal to make sure everything was to our liking. This is always a safe and good place to go with guests! Can't wait to go back!

This is a satellite of Lou's, not the original location. It's not as good as the original, but it's closer to our current location and you don't have to fight Chicago traffic. Lou's original is saucier and has more flavor, but this is an acceptable substitute. You just have to realize this is not THE Lou's. We got the sausage pizza and it was pretty thick (not quite as deep as the original) and the sausage was appropriately seasoned. We also got the bruschetta appetizer, and the bread was well oiled and toasted, but there was no seasoning and the tomatoes were bland. And their bruschetta has no balsamic, and we think that robs it of flavor. Service was great. Our server was very attentive and kept our drinks filled (coke products). The restaurant was too cold and for some reason the ceramic floors were very slippery. So just be aware and step carefully! We came around 4:30-4:45 and beat the crowd. By the time we left around 6:15-6:30, it was very crowded. The pizza does take quite some time to prepare, so don't be in a hurry. With the large sausage (4 servings), a small cheese to go (2 servings), and the drinks and apps, we paid around 64 dollars before tip. It's fine. It's just not the original. And really it's not quite as good as the mail order pizza, which we've gotten several times (yes, Lou's ships). But it's ok. The people are nice. They also have a bar and alcohol/beer, which we didn't try. The food is probably 3 stars. Service brings it up to 4.

The service here is really amazing - I'm surprised this location doesn't have higher ratings! It was clean, fast, and the pizza is delicious, of course. Our waitress, Hannah, was very sweet and they served the pizza to us when it came to the table. 5 stars!

My husband and I are going to an event Thursday night in Orland Park and were wondering if there is a long wait for pizza at the Tilney park location? We ate at the downtown Chicago location and waited two hours to get our pizza to go.

This location is delivery and To-Go. Usually the pizza is ready for pick up within half an hour

My waitress (Alex)was very nice and detailed, she knew the whole menu and some very great suggestions that did not disappoint me. I know it'll be there by my next visit, which will be soon. A seller for me is homemade pasta with an option for gluten free. If it was organic it's a hard 5. No judgement though. Frankie's is the spot where you park up by 3:45/3:50 and wait for the doors to open as their hours are short, hot and sweet. This is a tucked away spot packing tons of flavor on the small menu(major hit). Locals pack this spot asap at the bar so be there by 3:45. Haha. The restaurant has nice decor and attentive friendly service. As the server comes to the table with heavy greetings, they run down the special menu. Drinks are always good, nothing intricate but enough to elevate the experience and hit hard. The appetizers are good. I enjoyed the calamari and shrimp as well as the octopus. But now to the star of the show is their pastas. FRIENDLY REMINDER, all are homemade. The Pappardelle w/ Wide Ribbon Pasta, Black Truffle Cream Sauce and Mushrooms is amazing.. I added the gluten free meatballs and yummy. A savory bite. The rigatoni vodka sauce(added sausage) was a hit. Another star of the table was the Linguine w/ Shrimp,Broccoli, Evoo and Garlic. A fully loaded plate. The Gnocchi w/ Ricotta Cheese Filling, vodka sauce.. added meatballs was another hit. The star of the show was our pizza which resembles a meat lovers with pepperoni, Sopressata and Giardiniera (which is more like a relish and I love). I've had other dishes but after multiple countless visits this is what I love at this time. The pizza is cooked in a high heat oven which gives the perfect char, let it settle for a couple minutes as it sits on the table. Overall, when in this part of Illinois hands down the place to be. Hours are only 4-9pm and that says a lot. My only insight would be ask for the bread to be served warm. I'm sure a fresh loaf in the pizza oven for a couple of minutes will go a long way. ENJOY!
